Whaaaat? I feel like a metronome is my training wheels lol especially the ones that beep on the first note
@@rake1087 haha sometimes it’s hard to keep on beat especially since you’re nervous and you tend to rush, and the metronome is an added pressure sometimes haha
@@nagsicle I get that. I guess it varies for people. I don't know about you but, I started playing because I took Orchestra in middle school. So from the very beginning I had to follow a conductor which was hard to master looking at him and my sheet music at the same time. So a Metronome was literally my saviour lol, still is tbh. And especially having to keep time without any sort of guide. So when the metronome came out, I was always like, "Thank GOD" haha
@@rake1087 oh I play in a band in school so I do follow a conductor and I'm used to looking at him and following but using a metronome sometimes makes me nervous
I tap my foot or move to the rhythm. I can't feel the pulse with metronomes.
Listen, if you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly, so there's absolutely no reason you shouldn't be able to play it at 500bpm.
