Oh never thought of being a 2nd shooter but it’s perfect as you say to gain experience. Having recently got a 24/1.4, I can imagine the 50/1.2 is a dream
I love the 50mm lens, it's my go to focal length. I have also done a wedding or 2 with the 50mm as the solo shooter lol, just had to be very creative. It worked out great and the bride and groom loved the pictures. That was a few years ago and still use some of those pics in my portfolio.
What kinds of lighting do you use for the senior portraits? I'm not used to using a flash, but I think it's pretty important. I just ordered a 50mm lens, 1.4, so excited to use it! And is it ok to have a crop sensor body, say for a 2nd wedding shooter?
Wow, a couple of the pictures have such motion, in a still shot O8
Awesome artistry, D!
Thank you much!!!
Great video and example photos. Thank you for putting out this content!
You are very welcome. Thank you for the kind words!!!

It is great way to see if it’s something you want to get into. The 50mm 1.8 is affordable. You should try one out.
Great Video!
Thank you so much!!!
That 50mm is a money maker❤
You better believe it!

As you see, it’s my go to focal length as well. I’m glad your 50mm weddings worked out great!

I use AD200s for seniors. Cropped sensors are fine to use. Just keep in mind that will multiply the focal range by 1.6. So a 50mm ends up being 80mm.
I subbed
Thanks for the sub! I greatly appreciate it.
