Hey fine, here's an idea. Maybe play some games and do a "play by play" similar to your recent Set video, but only do the "play by play" during the team fights. Maybe do a few games like that and then compile the team fight clips in to a normal-length video. You could watch the clips afterwards to add extra commentary on top of what you said "live" during the actual fights, too.
I think that could be a good way to show some specific fight examples. Heck, I suppose you could just go rip team fights from your existing videos and add commentary over the top, too. Maybe that's a more time-efficient way to do it. Just a thought. Thanks for all the content!

THANK YOU for teaching these kids how to play Smite. So frustrating dealing with frontliners who only attack other frontliners because they're the closest enemy available. And backliners who just sit and watch as frontliners absorb all the aggro because they think we're trying to foolishly 1v5.
A map/objective pressure and awareness guide would be a nice supplementary piece to this.
Very informative video. One thing that I would like to add is that you don’t always have to tp if you are playing a god like kuzenbo going blink and thorns with relic dagger is just op you do lose farm against certain matchups but if you know your gods clear or you opponents clear you can back more efficiently. Another example would be a god with a great clear like cabrakan or set. They can clear the waves early on and not need to have tp because they can clear and just back to base and make it back to lane quickly now this won’t happen with al matchups but more often than not you can have clear pressure over other gods.

Super helpful. A suggestion for more specific solo lane team fight tutorials would be to separate them into the three parts: Dive gods, dive/peel, and back line. gods.

Can you make a video that is conceptual (like this one, loved it), on what you are looking for in a god for each role and why? Ex: support needs good peel. Jungle wants high burst. Mid wants??? I dont even know.
Mid wants also high burst or consistent dps, depensing on whether the carry is high burst or consistent dps. And really all of this can be changed around a bit depending on team comps

If you wanted to do a guide on a specific god you might just need to do a play by play when streaming or on the spl gather some clips and explain them but that might take more work. Love the vids Fineo!!
How do u counter a full damage chaac, he built trans, hammer and pen
Armando Maldonado anti-heal is the best way to shut Chaac down! + of course Defense like FineO says. He’s an early game god so will drop off mid-late
Chac is more of a pub stomp solo, you have to be aware of his fall off. Build your defense early, and play back. If you know you can’t win the trade, don’t try and fight. Get your farm, and lvl up and play for late game. If he’s going offensive he’s not gunna be able to bang late game.

Thanks for the video I feel like most players don’t understand what the solo laner should be doing. So many times I’ve had bad damage dealers tell me they need more peel. I mostly play Cu Chulainn so you can imagine how badly I want to close app when someone asks me for peel.

Informative video. I always chase and cc other teams backliners as solo, but often the carries on my team then complains that I'm not peeling for them. Pretty fucking annoying when I basically disable the enemy damage.
Whos the best assassin in solo? Susanoo, its definitely susanoo. You can dive all back lines, tons of mobility, tons of control, and glad shield in a team fight is so god awful good on him. Plus pulling people out of clear is amazing. (Against amaterasu for instance, as long as you never let her shield hit the minions [ie pull her away from the minions just before she detonates the shield] she can literally do nothing in lane)
Say you're playing sobek, and you pluck an enemy front line, aren't you enabling that front line to dive your back line?
Hey man idk if you're gonna see this since this video is nearly 2 years old but you said about halfway through that you hope that this video can be used for any meta and I believe you achieved that. Besides mechanics I believed I plateau'd in my journey to become a better solo laner so I was looking towards older videos trying to see anything that might have been lost in all the big changes over the years that could be brought back and this has definitely helped a lot man. Thank you for all the great content you put out and taking time to teach others. I hope to one day face you myself on those stages.

Probably warrior’s blessing or guardians, it’s really depending on your play style, cdr boots or pen boots if you can manage to get a lead, breastplate(or genji’s) void, mantle, e staff and last item is situational to the match (probably something with health ) and I don’t recommend relic dagger in solo unless you are messing around with different stuff ( even fineokay says it’s more of a support item than solo)

So FineO I do have a question I play support and was wondering where do you think they should start in casuals and ranked. I usually still start in duo but had ppl saying I shouldn't cuz that's not meta and I hate just copying the pros like that cuz u guys are on another level and in 5 man comms what's ur opinion?
Start duo unless the enemy support starts somewhere else too

DARKW0LF 07 more than likely they’re going to die and rage because the enemy support is in the lane and/or they never ward and get dove by the support or jungle, plus imo there’s not enough farm for support to start mid or other lanes because jungle is already behind because of the meta and mid doesn’t need to split every wave in the beginning

Dude you are on the top of my list for informative smite content. The last several videos I’ve watched have answered questions I’ve had for years now. Im sure there are plenty of people who have become so knowledgeable about smite that they could be successful at teaching individuals how to play. But none of them are making videos like this that answer these nuanced questions, questions that new players don’t know how to ask and that veterans don’t usually remember asking. Thanks for spending the time and energy to really think about the quality of the content you’re making rather than just creating quantity.
Considering the importance of blink right now, would you put relic dagger into the core build of every solo laner?
Super helpful video. Smite really should promote this sort of content, the more the community learns about correctly playing their roles, the less toxic it will become.
This was a very helpful video and I enjoyed. I’m an ama player and it was hard to understand what to do, often my team will complain about me diving even if I do good.

Defense > Damage you say, which makes sense, but then:
diving Backline > peeling (which makes sense too since you don't want carry/mage freecasting around)
so it has to be a mix of those two then, or am i totally not seeing something here?
Yes there is more nuance to any teamfight but the idea is that tanks can buy more time + have more room for error against damage dealers. It's not as black and white as I depict it but I'm just trying to illustrate the point.

i guess i'd go for peel if we retreat, and go for a dive if we attack for example. Depending on the Players, the Build. As you say, very complicated.

Blink is necessary but OP in my opinion.
There are a few times where I think it's fine but then there are the times where it's clearly OP; like when their jungle has vision on you via their teamates and blinks over a wall, instantly using an ability that you just can't react to.
Yes you can counter it with wards but there are A LOT of areas where someone can blink over a wall and your team have to ward certain areas for other reasons.
I would say for balance, blink should take .5 of a seconds to teleport you and there is a small indicator for the enemy to see where you will end up.

No it depends on the situation but supports tend to peel a lot. It's not as cut and dry for the other roles, what I'm trying to say in the video is that solos should be diving the most.
