Only time will tell if OU is ready. I do believe that OU is so much closer than they would have been with Riley. It might take a year but OU will do well.

enjoy his opinions, and comments! Wishing him the best as he moves forward!

OU and Texas got everyone’s best shot in the Big 12. In the SEC they won’t be the target in every game. That will help counterbalance the move and equal it out somewhat.

Just go back and look at Jackson Arnolds last few years in high school he is a dude and a half when he runs I know you don’t wanna get the quarterback hurt but that dude is big and he’s got a shoulder. He would lower it and he’ll stay healthy I know they’ll tell him not to be doing that a lot, but he is a runner and he can pass the dude makes it happen.

Jackson Arnold is that dude. He’s got NFL level arm talent and precision accuracy. He’s big as well and can run. Name another red shirt freshman that goes into a game when your Star QB gets injured and gets the play call and just audibles out and picks up a crucial first down. He’s that dude.

Both teams will be competitive in the SEC, but instead of occasionally playing an SEC early in the season or at a bowl game. Starting 2024 they need to prepare for a bowl game every week. They are probably gonna lose when I see them come out of the tunnel kinda half assed. They weren’t fired up for the bedlam game or Kansas. I hope they are talking with Byron Washington, the 6-foot-8, 380-pound OT because he’s a beast. Texas, LSU, and Texas A&M have been with him

Unfortunately, OU isn't ready at the line of scrimmage. The high ranking d-line recruits will need a year or two under their belt. Meanwhile, the o-line room feels like a mostly empty toolbox with spare parts. Especially after our best freshman o-lineman left out of nowhere.
