Thx Kim for your window tips. Looking to buy windows for my elderly parents house. Their glass is fogged because moisture has set in and the windows itself are much harder to open and close.
You left out the best window in the industry, Renewrel by Andersen with Fibrex, multiple patented design and blows all the windows shown in your video away...and offers the best absolute warranty.. Andersen has been around for 115 years, makes their own windows and only uses company employed installers...
A Renewal window is ABOUT 3-4 times the price of an average window that will perform close or the same to a mid range window. Anyone looking to save money on energy should never look at Renewal for a window simply because it will take them four life times before breaking even. in addition, although new windows will increase the house value, how much of that house value keep in your pocket depends on how much you spend for windows. The more you spend, the less you keep because a house value goes up because you have new energy saver windows not because you have over the top Renewal Fibrex Windows. So if a house value increases by $30k for having new windows why buy from Renewal at $45k when you can get the same efficiency for $12k and keep the gain for future use - Get my point?. There is always a ceiling for house value increase for home improve projects, unfortunately, Renewal always exceeds that ceiling which is not worth the cost both short and long term.
@@brookbandeen4999 agree with you now, we no longer sell Andersen windows, learned more about the build quality....they suck...we now sell Marvin Infinity Ultrex....now that one truly is unbeatable.

For buying windows in US, I suggested Dako.

Somebody has consumed the Andersen kool-aid!
Andersen has quality issues that still are happening today.
“Permanent-shield” still cracks
