I think Blast in this instance is similar to Silver Surfer, where silver surfer got his power from Galactus and uses it to fight against him. Similarly Blast got his power from god and uses it to fight him!! I do think he originally had esper abilities. I don't think he was ever just a regular guy and now with his power boost it explains why he's so OP!
When Blast was fighting Cosmic Fear Garou, he mentioned "what would've happened if he accepted full partition". I'm guessing Empty Void accepted full partition, and he was sucking the black hole ability, confirming again higher dimensional tiering than with CF Garou. Next chapter 208 is going to be wild...we're just getting started 🔥
Nah cosmic fear garou ability to copy stats and abilities I more broken blast couldn't even stop cosmic fear garou before he got many power amp by copying Saitama stats and skills, void dimensional slash can only cut mountains cosmic garou in Jupiter when toe to toe with a serious Saitama that was getting stronger and stronger is a rapidly broken phase

The very fact that EV managed to surprise Blast mirrors the fight with CF Garou where Blast was surprised how CF Garou managed to escape from the dimensional gate. Keep in mind both Murata and ONE are fully aware of the fan mangas of terra 2 and terra 3 Saitama that goes to 6D++. This plus the fact that Murata confirmed in a Twitter/X post that he's definitely going to raise the bar on the powerscaling (a fan asked him to read more into powerscaling, 2A, 1A and what not and he did lol). They are both just incredibly busy right now as they are working on 4+ different projects at the same time but it's coming, not a matter of if but when 🙂

If Saitama ends up showing up in the end for this fight, I wish Murata would make the fight longer and have him team up with Blast, because if he goes the webcomic way, I’ll be a tad bit disappointed
