I LOVE that your vid was smart, fast, very little of anything else but the job itself without 10 minutes of explanation of where and how to turn a screw!! Your instructional video is THE BEST yet and I use You Tube aaaaalot to resolve issues around the house, property, and car!! Thank you for instructions that speak to fast learners!! Following you!

Good video, but i did mine without taking whole door panel off, that corner trim piece(popped off @ 1:00) exposes the 3 mount nuts, then with trim tool, pop the forward and bottom door panel clips. there is enough flex in door panel to give access to the clip holding the wire harness/connector. I used needle nose pliers to pop it out, disconnect it, and out it comes. then swap it out. not better, just easier/faster for me. Thanks again for video.

Good point! How did you plug it in without pulling the panel?

I’m thinking of doing the same. I see the clippy thing through the opening of the door opener handle when the piece is popped off!

I need someone to do this video for the 2020 Highlander. It's not obvious how to remove the door panel!

I just looked around and removed screws, ect.. until I was able to get the panel off. I'd try it !! someone somewhere figured it out, why not you ! let me know how it goes !
