    Many won't even realize how much work there is in putting quality content out there. I did photography for a few years, debated starting a channel and your frustration is exactly the reason why I chose not to start a channel nor carrying a bunch of camera gears with me. Worth mentioning I've been working with advanced tech and computer all my life. To me it's not worth the hassle to drag my day along and create content. I'd be thrilled to share knowledge and experience with others but I enjoy fishing too much and it's my way of escaping from work and technology. At the end of the day you still pulled one very nice video for your audience!
    Cheers!

      It's funny... I never imagined myself doing this... it just kinda happened organically. And the more I got into the creator side and the real filming... the heavier my bag got and the more time I spend "Capturing the Experience". I enjoy the process but sometimes it can get overwhelming and I rarely get out just to fish for myself. I left the cameras behind a little last year and had some great days that helped me recharge. I used to be passionate about the fishing (and I still am)... but it has grown into more than that. I am passionate about sharing the experience and helping others through the channel. One day I hope that means early retirement from my actual work where my wife and I can travel, fish and film our adventures.

    Well I love these little brookies, it's so easy to spook them so when you land them it's fun because you work hard for it and a day on the stream will always be better then one at work dude. Keep up the good work, appreciated.

    • @WhiteDogTrailCompany
      @WhiteDogTrailCompany  2 года назад

      I don't spook fish often. I can get pretty close to them in water like this if you come up from behind them. I always work my way up a stream. if you work downstream you'll spook a ton.

      @@WhiteDogTrailCompany I always work, up stream to, but in the very little one, the one i like to fly fish they appeared to ear you coming, so sometime i crawl to make sure i dont spook them. But at the end its fun and benefits of being in nature. Thank's for the video, i learn alot from it.

      @@corbeilyves5489 Yes... the small ones can be tough.. or if they have still water... I like the cascading streams where the water is more turbulent and they don't see you coming. You can be pretty much right behind them on those :) But those smaller streams can be really tricky!!!

    I enjoyed that and I love those small streams. My Dad NEVER passed by one without at least a look and we/he found some good ones.
    - Sometimes in those smaller streams when you get to the bigger pools and there aren't too many bigger ones, could be the local mink/otter population getting them. It confines them and those 2 are really good predators. I've trapped many mink and some otters like that.

      Yes... this is the foam caddis. ruclips.net/video/HmqzGIcy5zo/видео.html I tie other foam based flies now though as well. I'm using a double layer foam with legs that kinda looks like a hopper most of the time these days. I found out the hard way that I needed a waterproof pack when I went too deep with my old pack and waterlogged a good camera. Waterproof is a must for my camera gear! In the front pouch I carry my fly boxes, leaders, tippet, SD Cards (in a waterproof container) and extra batteries for my cameras (need to quickly access them) and sometimes my GoPro. In the big bag I carry my Canon Mirrorless camera and good lens, my drone, my wireless mic and other mics, a smaller tripod, some food and a drink. I strap my real tridpod to the outside of the bag. It is pretty heavy when I'm loaded down with all of my camera gear!
