People appear to have missed the point here. It doesn't matter whether JWs are a cult or not or seen as being a denomination that might be contrary to scripture, NO ONE should have the right to force ANYONE to salute a piece of cloth!

First the separate you from you nation and race. That's not to bad, most people don't feel very patriotic in this global world and it is frowned upon to have any love for your race unless you are a minority. Then they will separate you from your friends, wider family and colleagues because they are of the world and under satan's influence. That's a big step but you don't want to disappoint God or the governing body right? Then you will be alienated from your close family even those under your roof because they don't share your blind obedience to the watchtower and the 8 men who run in from NYC. Now you are totally alienated from anyone who knows you, loves you, who might warn you away from the danger you are in. But that's okay you have this new family now and they are better than the old satanic ones you left behind right? Congratulation you are in a cult and are under mind control and the only people you talk to and hang around with are other mind controlled cult members all encouraging each other along in a culty eco chamber. ''My my, wasn't that a lovely article brother? How the faithful and discrete slave provide us with our spiritual food right on time.'' Once day you start to question some of the teachings as they seem in opposition to the teachings of the Christ or you hear about the rampant p@edophili@ in the cult you are cut off. Now you have nothing and nobody. All these alleged family you traded your flesh and blood family for will disown you, and will cross the road if they see you in the street. Even if they are you blood family who followed you into the cult, you are dead to them. You have no hope because the 8 cult leaders in NYC have taught you, that your Gods enemy now and He will destroy you, you belong to the devil. This is why so many JW's commit suicide. They have been slowly taken apart piece by piece over time, separated from everything they know and love. All starting with cutting them off from their nation and race. Your allegiance shouldn't be to a a piece of cloth neither should it be to a cult run by 8 men in NYC.

True servants, sincere followers of Jesus Christ, must keep separate from the political part of Satan’s world, from all nationalism and politics. Are not these also opposed to God’s kingdom? When standing before the representative of the Roman Empire, Pontius Pilate, Jesus testified: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.” (John 18:36) Since neither Jesus nor his followers were part of the political world back then , , neither may Jesus’ followers be today. That the nations of the world have nothing in common with the true God can be seen from the fact that they are being gathered by the god of this world, through his inspired expressions, to the war of the great day of God the Almighty at Har- Magedon. (Rev. 16:14, 16) As the apostle Peter so well notes, Christians are aliens and temporary residents. (1 Pet. 2:11) In keeping with that fact are the words of the apostle Paul at Philippians 3:20, showing that the citizenship of Christ’s true followers is in the heavens. That is why the Christian witnesses of Jehovah do not engage in politics, nor do they buy or carry political party cards.
When Jesus Christ was on earth, he set higher standards for his followers, and he refused all involvement in political or military matters. After Jesus had miraculously fed several thousand people with a few loaves of bread and two small fish, Jewish men wanted to seize him and make him a political king. But Jesus avoided them by quickly withdrawing to the mountains. (John 6:5-15) Regarding this incident, The New International Commentary on the New Testament states: “There were fierce nationalistic longings among the Jews of that period, and doubtless many of those who saw the miracle felt that here was a divinely accredited leader, who was just the one to lead them against the Romans. So they set themselves to make him king.” It adds that Jesus “decisively rejected” this offer of political leadership. Christ gave no support to any Jewish insurrection against Roman domination. Indeed, he foretold what would be the result of the revolt that would take place after his death-untold woes for the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the destruction of that city.-Luke 21:20-24.
Until his Kingdom puts an end to the rule of political governments, Christ’s disciples follow his example. They render obedience to those established authorities but do not interfere in their political undertakings. (Daniel 2:44; Matthew 4:8-10) Jesus left guidelines for his disciples, stating: “Pay back, therefore, Caesar’s things to Caesar, but God’s things to God.” (Matthew 22:21) Earlier, in his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus had said: “If someone under authority impresses you into service for a mile, go with him two miles.” (Matthew 5:41) In the context of this sermon, Jesus was illustrating the principle of willing submission to legitimate demands, whether in human relations or in governmental requirements that are in harmony with God’s law.-Luke 6:27-31; John 17:14, 15
These brief guidelines were to govern the relationship between Christians and the State. In his book The Rise of Christianity, historian E. W. Barnes wrote: “Whenever, for centuries to come, a Christian was in doubt as to his duty towards the State, he turned to Christ’s authoritative teaching. He would pay taxes: the dues levied might be heavy-they became intolerable before the collapse of the Western Empire-but the Christian would endure them. He would likewise accept all other State obligations, provided he was not called upon to render unto Caesar the things that belonged to God.”
It was in line with this that, a little over 20 years after Christ’s death, the apostle Paul told the Christians in Rome: “Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities.” (Romans 13:1) About ten years later, shortly before his second imprisonment and his execution in Rome, Paul wrote to Titus: “Continue reminding them [Cretan Christians] to be in subjection and be obedient to governments and authorities as rulers, to be ready for every good work, to speak injuriously of no one, not to be belligerent, to be reasonable, exhibiting all mildness toward all men.”-Titus 3:1, 2.

    @GloucesterLGB 8 лет назад +14

To those who make negative comments about Jehovah's Witnesses, I say this:
Even first-century Christians were not perfect people. In addition to more individual accounts of some failings on the part of individual Christians, Revelation chapter 2 is very candid about the shortcomings of the entire congregations of Ephesus, Smyrnia, Pergamum, and Thyatira. It is not worth defending against accusations that some embittered former Witnesses experienced at times un-Christian treatment at the hands of those claiming to be Witnesses or that it may have been mishandled among those responsible for shepherding the flock in their care. That doesn't change the fact, as Jehovah's Witnesses themselves well know from firsthand experience, that such behavior is not taught by the Bible or condoned by those who follow it as a daily guide in their lives.
There will always be those who ridicule and slander - no matter how perfect any of us or the organized effort that taught the Bible to us could be represented. (Matt 5:11) No one could have been more perfect than Jesus himself and yet recall how they twisted facts to make him out to be godless and evil. (John 15:20)(2Tim 3:12)(Matt 11:19)(Luke 11:15)
If you want to find imperfection and fault, as imperfect people we will surely supply you with something you can use as an excuse to dismiss what we have to say and malign us with. However, that doesn't qualify any blanket statements about Jehovah's Witnesses as a group being evil, or not engaging in relief work, condoning wrongdoing, being brainwashed, etc. etc. etc.
2Corinthians 6:8 Paul, noting that he they had according to verses 3 through 4, "...given no offense in anything that the ministry might not be blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God..." says "By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as decievers, and YET true;" So Paul and those preaching with him had acted blamelessly and yet were accused of being decievers and recieved bad reports about themselves and their activity. Can any religious group claim to be more blameless than Paul and his fellow Christians? Yet they were plagued with 'bad reports" and false accusations. So the accusations themselves are not unexpected in a world that Jesus said "lieth in wickedness" at 1John 5:19.
It is also a proven fact that it is a waste of time to try to address every single accusation for those who make it clear that they are not interested in a dialogue but simply want to publicize their disdain for Witnesses and their beliefs in a public forum. 2 Timothy 2:23 suggests that we, "Further, reject foolish and ignorant debates, knowing that they produce fights." If someone sincerely is under some mistaken belief and genuinely is open to a more complete insight, there are plenty of non-public options to address these concerns.
For just one example: on the charge that Jehovah's Witnesses do not care to include disaster relief as an evidence of their Christianity, a person who genuinely wants to know whether this is true and not just out to promote a falsehood to impugn Witnesses could view:
    www.jw.org/en/news/releases/by-region/sri-lanka/witnesses-help-flood-victims/ www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/activities/help-community/video-clip-hurricane-sandy-relief/ www.jw.org/en/news/releases/by-region/japan/video-clip-702012006/
Often local members of assisted communities and news organizations will further corroborate the voracity of these claims, as well as we or Witnesses we know personally who were involved with the on-the-ground relief-work.
The same can be said for claims that "JW's destroy families, condone child-abuse, keep changing their beliefs, make repeated preditcions as to the date of the 'end of the world', don't believe in Jesus, or any other similar claims.
Otherwise, know that those accusations are slanderous and without genuine validity. Say what anyone may, but such words are not without their consequences. Neither I, nor anyone will stop someone from saying whatever they wish. If they are wrong and are putting a stumbling block before those who are seeking salvation, consider what the warning was in relation to those who were actively opposing the Apostles, in accord with Acts 5:38 & 39. The King James version says, "38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: 39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God." Jesus words at Mark 9:42 also apply, "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea."
None of that could ever be twisted to suggest that dissent is being silenced with threat. If someone publishes false statements about an individual, even the courts of the land will convict the one guilty of it of slander. The point is that reckless actions have consequences and even these have ones that are clearly specified in Scripture. Not believing in those warnings will eventually prove to be as unwise as not believing in gravity - refusing to accept what we cannot see doesn't eliminate the consequences of ignoring it. The aforementioned is no more a threat than a roadsign that indicates a safe speed on an exit ramp of 25mph. The fact that many have sucessfully gone 50mph through that ramp doesn't invalidate the warning that speeds of more than 25mph may have disastrous consequences.
At present, it requires faith to accept these things. Soon a time will be upon us where there will be no doubt and it will be past the time to begin accepting. (Heb 11:1) Like the exit ramp, after a 'crash' for failing to heed the warning it will be too late to make a preventative adjustment.

They were "persecuted for righteousness sake". Not because they did anything wrong. JW's are moral, decent, kind, God fearing people and they were treated so hatefully. Why? Because they wanted to worship God in "spirit and truth" and NOT give up their integrity. Saluting a piece of cloth is idolatry to us. We do NOT pledge our alliegence to a flat or piece of cloth. We respect what it represents and we would never disgrace it but we do NOT worship it.

With morals and decency and integrity. JW are not God's chosen, the Jews are. I salute the Flag because it represents the Freedoms we have in the United States, it doesn't mean I worship the Flag. To JW's pledging our alliegence to a piece of cloth is idolatry. The Bible example we feel comes into play are when the three Hebrews (gods chosen people) who refused to bow down to the image that represented the state they lived in. God miraculously showed his approval by sparing their lives. God has also shown his approval of OUR stand by allowing us - through human courts - to be able to legally uphold our integrity to our beliefs. We don't tell others what stand to take, that is THEIR job, but while we love, and respect the country we all live in and are obedient to the laws if the land we live in we choose NOT to salute a flag.

If anyone has a right to post here, I do. Robert Jackson would agree. Any present Supreme Court justice would agree. The issue is freedom and responsibility. I have First Amendment religious liberty and associational rights. The Watchtower litigated heavily. I agree with its position. They were far from the only ones, however. The ACLU provided the intellectual thought and case law. I have a rich, vibrant life of free choice. Witnesses would never provide rights to those who oppose them. They promise to be far worse than the Spanish Inquisition or ISIS. It is the richness of law and western democracy that we extend legal protection to such groups as long as they do not incite imminent violence. +Connie “Silver” Shuga Every body has a very short sickly life, in case you have no eyes to see? Somehow this idea that being treated by doctors (artificial life support) and then dying at some young age of 80 is "normal"? How is it possible for people to believe that?
What exactly is wrong with my statements? If you can correct me using scriptures and actual physical evidence, would be fine. The loving thing to do is to tell the Truth.
Without Jehovah, that is your reward.
It is our inheritance from all the sins we got from our ancestors: death.
      evolutionsciencenow.blogspot.com/2014/10/what-is-human-sin-and-where-is-it.html
When people are so degraded that there is no hope for them and they have no signs of having any eyes to see with, you have to let them go, and according to scriptures you have to tell them it means life or death that they get this right.
The wages of sin is death.
That is why we die from some 17000 genetic diseases we inherited from our ancestors who were just as stupid to cause fetal mutations in offspring as we do now. Germ line mutations are caused by diseased lifestyles. Only now it is 10 times the speed of acceleration of the numbers of new diseased every 30 years..
The Truth becomes more obvious to some (very few according to scriptures) people, but you have to tell them what it is. Then when crap happens they realize I was telling them the Truth.
If no one ever tells them the Truth, then when crap happens, they have no clue and are even more lost and confused living in despair.
I am a scientist so I deal in evidence and facts to back up what I say.
People are so stupid today that they are ground into this idea that living for 80 years and being sickly needing medical aids all along is "normal". That this sickly body, is somehow "good". It breaks easily, catches every new virus there is and dies very young.
There is nobody I have met over 80 who said being old was "so much fun". Normally it is; "Old age is not for wussies." And they will all tell you their life was extremely short.
Yet they want life. This is because life was instilled in us at the beginning. As the Bible states; "eternity is in their hearts".
      sciencereligionpolitics.blogspot.com/2014/12/religions-and-first-lie-ever-told.html
      evolutionsciencenow.blogspot.com/2014/04/absolute-morality-what-is-it-by-james.html
Death is not normal. Death is part of our diseased existence in which we have defied God for thousands of years.
It started with Adam and Eve who decided they wanted to "be like God and know good and evil".
Since then the "good" has waned and the evil has taken over, obviously. Even worse people are so degraded they think that "evil is good".
According to medical doctors, modern humans, especially, white Caucasians could not live in the wild with no technology, no medical, no vaccines, no antibiotics, no drugs, no surgery, for more than 15 years. And massive deaths of children with no vaccines.
The merciful and loving thing to do is to point out these facts to people who are living in some fantasy world of delusion put there by lies and lying to themselves. And so many "well meaning" people who say they love you, but are ignorant as a box of rocks.
This includes all of Christendom, Academia, and those who follow all the lies of this rotting world.
      sciencereligionpolitics.blogspot.com/2014/12/who-is-babylon-great-now.html
And the way out is very easy, once you realize how messed up this all is, it is easy to stop doing the things that destroy life and join in with Jehovah's Kingdom.
You see Jehovah is setting up a new Kingdom on Earth and in Heaven. It is happening right now. All of the prophesies of the Bible show this, and my evidence shows that humans don't have long before extinction.
No one who promotes, disease, suffering and death will be allowed to live in God's new Kingdom.
The sins (compulsions and desires) that bind us to everlasting death can be removed by the Grace of Jehovah through the Death of His Son. This shows amazing love of Jehovah God for us. We certainly don't deserve any of it.
Jesus came to remove your sins so that you may live. Not for you to continue to sin and die.
      evolutionsciencenow.blogspot.com/2014/10/what-is-human-sin-and-where-is-it.html
It means your eternal life, or your eternal death that you learn to stop destroying life out of ignorance.
Every sinful action is associated with disease, suffering and death.
If you want to live, all you have to do is to ask Jehovah to save you with all your heart and soul and mind. Then have convictions that you want to align with Jehovah's Laws for life, and not listen to the emotional baggage in your mind.
If you want eternal death, you have that as the reward of the gift of our ancestors who followed Satan's ideas of "religion" and "good"..
The Bible is the inerrant word of the Living God, Jehovah. It has the information to save you. Nothing else does. I know I have been to the most revered places on earth and they all Teach from the Bible. Even the Siddha Masters of India, a lineage that goes back 6000 years.

    Dear Brothers and Sisters,
From time to time I end up following some link to a RUclips or Facebook page like this and find the comments section laced with anti-Witness slurs, accusations, and even downright slander being responded to by well-intentioned friends who feel they are making a defense of the good news. (Phil 1:7,16)
I see many of you drawn in and spending a great deal of effort trying to respond to false accusations.
Please consider first the words of the Daily Text for Sept 12, 2016 before deciding to make a reply to negative comments on internet forums. As tempting as it might be to want to set things straight, it is never appropriate to attempt to vindicate Jehovah's name by stooping to Satan's methods. (1Pet 3:9-15) Much of what you or I would try to convey is not only going to not be accepted by them, but doesn't even have enough basis in common with them to make sense to them. (1Cor 2:11-16)
If you were to know the faceless individuals hiding behind the anonymity, you could almost guarantee that those who are inclined to spend time making such negative and at times even hateful comments against you and our life of worship, have their own agendas and motivations. There may be a few who are sincere in their beliefs. Others give evidence by their words and their tone that they are seeking to condone their own choices in their lives by finding fault with us, our worship, our beliefs, and if possible Jehovah himself. (2Cor 4:4)
Keep in-mind that the Apostle Paul was such a man. (Acts 8:3, 9:1-2) If your objective is to enlighten opposers, in accord with Paul's example, it is noteworthy that none of the Christians he mistreated is ever credited with being part of Paul's readjustment - that was left to Jesus direction. (Acts 9:3-16) Have faith that the Bible says that it is God who draws people to Him. (John 6:44) If someone is 'rightly disposed', trust in God to insure that they will not be overlooked for salvation because we chose to heed the advice found in 2Timothy 2:23-26.
The strongest testimony of the correctness of our own course as Jehovah's Witnesses is the very real personal relationship that we have with our Heavenly Father Jehovah - through prayer and how we have each seen how He has answered us personally in concert with our association with His organization. It was through that organization that we learned to get to know the God who called us. (John 6:37,44) We are in a better position than our detractors, who often just repeat unjustified claims they have heard read or seen, to recognize the real tangible positive effect that our association with Jehovah's Witnesses has had on our lives, how well everything we are taught harmonizes with the Scriptures, and the good 'fruitage' it has borne in our lives and others around us who are sincerely putting forth the effort to make the Truth their own.(Matt 5:48)(1Cor 6:11)(2Cor 10:4)
As for former Witnesses who have left the path of life, there is almost certainly a thread of self-justification running through their complaints and accusation. Having been disfellowshipped myself, I know this personally for a fact. The Scriptures address this as well at 2Pet 2:22. Can there really be any credibility among those who failed to continue to suceed in applying what they've learned and turned away? (Luke 8:12,44) There is almost always some important personal detail that such ones seem to omit that is at the root of their crusade to attack God's people. (1Pet 4:3-4)
I have been associated with Jehovah's Witnesses for over 40 years. I was baptized in the late 1970's, inactive for a period and was even disfellowshipped for almost 14 years before I came to my senses and returned to the Truth. I have had plenty of time and exposure outside of the influence of Jehovah's organization to see the contrast between the world of those who malign God's people, and those who walk in the way of the Truth. I am neither indoctrinated nor brainwashed. I am not on the Governing Body or on some commitee for the defense of Jehovah's Witnesses - just a blue-collar 'nobody', in the way the world would estimate my value. (1Cor 1:26-31)
In the end, time will tell who is right and who is wrong. (Matt 25:31-46)
We accept that everyone will not be convinced that we have the Truth. It is enough that we understand clearly and go on making sure of the hope we have within us. The appropriate channels for applying the preaching, teaching, and defending the Good News of the King and his Kingdom are available to us without resorting to becoming overly embroiled in time-wasting online arguments with those who are not asking sincere questions, or seeking answers to address their doubts. Better to spend our time in the ministry, family worship, prayer, or personal study of the Bible. (Eph 5:15-16)(1Thes 5:16-22)(Phil 1:10)
This time spent interacting with commenters online is also 'association'. (1Cor 15:33) Therfore, it would be proper to ask ourselves individually, "Would I spend time trying to 'correct' someone like this in the ministry or would I apply Jesus words at Luke 9:5 or Matthew 10:14? This is not a judgement or failing to defend our faith, simply a wise admonition from Jesus as to how to best spend our time. Something worth considering. In harmony with my own advice, I composed this one single reply in defense of our true faith that I will simply cut&paste wherever it seems appropriate, and ignore any reply as a waste of time. (1Pet 4:7)
Those fault-finders do not have any better alternative. (John 6:68) The very attitude that permeates their comments shows what sort of thinking and life they are advocating - not one of peace, love, harmony, and Christlike personalities. (John 3:19) We know our Master and where we belong. (John 10:14,27) Just keep doing what you know is right and use discernment in dealing with people who challenges. (Matt 10:16)
Matthew 7:6 makes it clear with sufficiently strong language that we should be discriminating with our efforts.

May Jehovah continue to bless all of your ongoing efforts to serve Him and the interests of His Kingdom.

Jehovah is not God's name so Jehovah cannot bless you. Further, you do the same thing you warn others about in your post. These "fault-finders' show better alternatives than a cult that directs your mind. Think, ponder, read multiple sources. Your life is not your own but is controlled by a corporation with no transparency. There are so many WT scandals. Pedophile scandals are serious. The WT is being hit with damages and has settled many. It refuses to adopt prudent measures to avoid child abuse. The WT denies knowledge and present false teachings and history. Read, ponder, think.

Your Master is the governing body. You are a slave of a publishing corporation. There are so many scandals and beatings of children in Kingdom Halls. Denying blood transfusions is not love. Ignorance is not love. Christ is love. and the Truth. Not your cultlike corporation that compels you to believe or you are shown the door.

They are not regarded as "Masters" they are referred to as the"Faithful and discreet Slave" class, who act as servants Not Masters.

    • @janicehussock7735
      @janicehussock7735 8 лет назад +2

The Governing Body does not act as servants. True, they do not live lavishly. They order you what to read, whom to date, what sexual practices to engage with your married spouse, how many hours to preach, what medical care you may receive. Indeed, I recall conventions where even food colors were ordered. It is an extremely authoritarian religon. I believe active Witnesses have no idea just how authoritarian it is because they do not visit other churches. Often poor and socially isolated people believe such orders are necessary or common. The Watchtower overreaches on a massive scale that shocks the conscience.
If they are servants, one can politely disagree with them.Yet Witnesses may not without ending being ejected from the Kingdom Halls and losing family and friends. Some servant who orders your mind and your daily life. So many Witnesses give up basic freedom to be enslaved by the Watchtower. No apostle nor Jesus ever exercised such minute and total control in the scriptures. They claim it is for unity. There is also the claim that they are governed by the Holy Spirit.
How can one objectively test guidance from the Holy Spirit? And their Holy Spirit definition is very definiton from that used by almost all other Christians. Witnesses have many strange and unique defintions for basic Bible terms. I suggest one test is success of prophecy. Witnesses have claimed so many dates for the end of the world with Armageddon. Sadly, Witnesses rely on these failed dates. They do not plan for retirement, learn basic life skills or other necessary and prudent things because Armageddon is expected. Yet it never arrives.
Witnesses who read other Bibles, who ask questions are kicked out. If you discuss the pedpophile scandals or their strange sexual teachings, you are ejected. And not politely. It is an all or nothing religion. Have no doubt.
If it were a casual religoin and one were free to come and go without serious personal consequencs, I would not bother to post. After a certain point, adults have a right to choose. I would never ban the Witnesses as many people want. One should know how much time, energy is demanded to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. No to God, Jehovah, or Christ. Jesus showed tolerance for dissenters. Witnesses tolerate no dissent. So people should be aware that the organization is not paradise on earth. It is most certainly not a zone of perfection on earth.
Holy Spirit direction would not include so many failed prophecies. nor so many changes in doctrine. God's spirit would preclude a very sick pedophile policy that does not discourage such men from seeking children for sick purposes. I strongly believe that God is not against knowledge, either. God can take science and accurate information.
Still, when I was very young and naive, I believe Bethel had some magic Holy Spirit power because my parents directed me to believe. Most of us grow up and leave fairy tale land behind. Witnesses are so critical of every other religion. Members of other religons are enouraged to leave their groups, investigate their claims, etc. Witnesses never think to investigate their own house.
There are many sincere individual Jehovah's Witnesses who honestly believe the teachings. I do not want to disparage them. Yet at the same time, adults need to be responsible. Blind faith is never good. Informed faith is good.

From time to time we as Jehovahs Witnesses make many anti-religious slurs, falsely accuse others of apostasy and even downright slanderously call people Satanic, but that's ok because we are making a defense of the good news. (Phil 1:7,16)

Admitting to making false prophecies doesn't magically change them, they are Bible defined false prophecies (Deut 18:2-0-22) Very poor reasoning, probably why JWs "suggested dates" and went beyond scripture.

The Watchtower Magazine is delivered FREE, and has no advertising in it. All the publications and Bible studies are free and they ask for no money.
There are no paid preachers, and no human in the organization makes money off this system of delivering Jehovah God's message. It is how Jehovah God Himself set this up.
The Jehovah's Witnesses also do not participate in any money making ventures. No money is invested in any businesses where people are paid, as what Churches do.
The only source of income comes from the preachers themselves. There are a few associates who also give, and all are free to give what they can, instead of being ordered to give or you don't get salvation as I was taught in the Baptist Church.
*Every Baptized Jehovah's Witness is an ordained minister* of the Truth and work for free and these ministers are the main part of the congregation, close to 9 million are doing this work today. The Baptized ministerial servants, “publishers, elders, and all “preachers” donate their own money earned from regular jobs to the purchase of , printing presses, paper, machinery, cameras, building materials, real estate, and all that is needed to do the work that Jehovah God has directed them to do from the Bible.
    There are no paid ministers.
The ministers actually pay to serve Jehovah, instead of being paid.
This is according to scriptures. Everything is according to God's Holy Scriptures.
    Matthew 23:8
*But you, do not you be called Rabbi, for one is your Teacher, and all of you are brothers*.
Jehovah's Witnessed do NOT MAKE ANY MONEY FROM MINISTERIAL WORK. They pay from regular jobs to support their own work.
*Being a Jehovah's Witness minister means it costs you money to be a minister*. This is the opposite of what churches do in making piles of money and the preacher never contributes anything.
In Jehovah's Witnesses the preachers are the givers to their own service.
They make it at regular jobs and then donate what they can from their heart to the service work, serving Jehovah God's will on earth.
I hope that helps you to understand how an actual Bible based organization works.
It would be good for you to learn something about Jehovah's servants on earth before you tell more lies about them. You get your information from who? Paid preachers who hate Jehovah's people?
It is a matter of your own salvation that you do not tell lies about them any more. Get an education direct from the ministers. Get a free Bible Study.

Luz A2 I pity you. You must want to die and never have life again.
      Proverbs 1:7
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge. Only fools despise wisdom and discipline.
      Proverbs 9:10
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, And knowledge of the Most Holy One is understanding.
      Proverbs 14:27
The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death.
      John 17:3
This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
Satan is considered to be a god, worshiped by most "Christians" who mix money and God.
Jehovah is the only Almighty Jehovah God.
We are only to worship Jehovah, not any image or human we think is God.
“You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like *anything* that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them.”-Exodus 20:4, 5.
Jesus is considered to be "who is like God". But is not God. To weak degraded sinful humans he seems like God.
Adam was made in the image of God.
All of the Angels are like gods to us mortals living in the weakness and suffering of our sin.
It is scientifically interesting that Jehovah, made sure that not one speck of Jesus was left on this planet, not one molecule of DNA was left. He knew that if his body was left here, that moron humans would put it in a box and worship it. if they dug it up today they would do DNA analysis of it. Great lengths were done, by Jehovah to see we don't worship Jesus, and he was the only man ever raised up from earth to heaven in his body.
      John 3:13
Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of man.
      Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will."
It is worth noting that Jesus had to be born through a human mother to fulfill his duty.
Jehovah is a God of Love and of Life. He is your savior who sent His son to save us from our degraded and disgusting condition of disease and death. We are pretty degraded according to over 10,000,000 DNA studies on humans.
Do you know that every human has at min 1000 deleterious mutations that are a direct cause of disease, suffering and death?
      evolutionsciencenow.blogspot.com/2013/04/are-humans-getting-better-what-is.html
All of the REAL data we have on humans shows the Truth of our condition.
It is because I am a scientist that I understand the Bible on the molecular basis of life and health. Humans were once all like God's compared to the weak and sickly emotional, nearly extinct, creatures we have become. If you want to be restored to life in the new Heavens and the new Earth then learn what God's plan is far away from religious nonsense. God has given you His people, meek, mild, kind and obedient to his will to help you. They are teaching this Good News of God's Kingdom in all the inhabited earth.
      Ezra 9:6
And I said: “O my God, I feel ashamed and embarrassed to raise my face to you, O my God, for our errors have multiplied over our heads and our guilt has mounted up to the heavens."
Consider that this guy was, "Ezra was born in 480 B.C. and he died in 440 B.C" That means that to us he would be considered a genius and nearly a god to modern morons. Because recent DNA analysis of ancient humans showed they were much more intelligent and far less emotional. Consider that emotions, like anger, lust, hate, fear, greed, need, are all the conditions we have increased in our much more degraded condition compared to them.
And this guy was talking about how messed up he was. When you realize just how stupid and emotional you are (as we all are), and how you are controlled by fear and brainwashing easily, it is no wonder to me that you believe in fantasies and religious garbage that was part of pagan religions and is not found in the original scriptures.
I am really trying to help you out of this rotten system of fear, and control put on you by your "religion". That fear was instilled in you as a child and now you cannot overcome it with any logic nor reason from scriptures.
All I am offering you is the knowledge of God that is found in everything on this earth. It is clearly found in the Bible. If you don't take in the knowledge of the Almighty One True God, Jehovah, you cannot be saved according to scriptures.
      John 17:3
This means everlasting life, their *coming to know you, the only true God*, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
Did you see the "AND" in that sentence?
What God has to offer you is far greater than any religious nonsense pretends to offer you.
He promises to "fix" us and restore us to health and to get us back to the original plan before Adam decided to play God, like you seem to want to do. If you want freedom and the joy of life, you need to let God "fix" you now. Imagine all you weaknesses, anger, lust, fear, hate, and all those things that make you hate other people, would be gone and you would live in peace forever. That is what Jehovah offers you.
But you are hung up on some religious crap, put there by greedy kings, politicians and greedy preachers. Why is it so difficult for you to get free from that level of degraded thought and try to find out what Jehovah's Thoughts are.
      Ezra 9:6
And I said: “O my God, I feel ashamed and embarrassed to raise my face to you, O my God, for our errors have multiplied over our heads and our guilt has mounted up to the heavens."
If Ezra can say that when he was far healthier and far more intelligent than any modern human, what do you think our condition is like now? Are you going to let your condition of weakness and sin keep you from Jehovah God, simply because he is not found in your religions emotional bag of death?

It is rare to find any Jehovah's Witness working even for a subcontractor supplier of military.
Jehovah's Witnesses have done more for religious freedom in the USA and the world than any other organization.
If you hate Jehovah's people, then you cannot be a Christian.
You hate of Jehovah's people gives you a direct scriptural reward.
      Psalm 81:15
Those who hate Jehovah will cringe in his presence, And their outcome will be forever.

Donna Smith You know, literally nothing about Jehovah's people. You get your information from people who make money from selling Jesus.
This means eternal life or eternal death, if you don't get this right.
You cannot present yourself as clean unless you can follow the commandments of God. You cannot enter God's Kingdom if you are unfit to be there. This is Jehovah God's law.
And you must worship God with a clean heart without all that hate you have for Jehovah's people.
There are more women ministers in Jehovah's organization than men.
In order for you to enter the Kingdom of God you must clean your heart of all hate, and have a loving heart.
You must realize that in this world ruled by Satan, God understands our plight and the sins of man. That is why he gave all of us a way out and it is a *very narrow path*.
You cannot enter the Kingdom of God with hate in your heart for anyone nor any group.
You must let Jehovah's Grace through Jesus wipe away all that emotional pain. It all comes from emotional pain.
When you hate others is only destroys you.
      1 John 4:11
Beloved ones, if this is how God loved us, then we are also under obligation to love one another.
      1 John 4:12
No one has seen God at any time. If we continue loving one another, God remains in us and his love is made perfect in us.
      1 John 4:7
Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God.
      1 Thessalonians 4:9
However, concerning brotherly love, you do not need us to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.
      John 15:12
This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you.
      John 13:34
I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
God is LOVE and He will not allow any anger, hate, war, killing disease, fear, and stupidity in the New Kingdom. It will be free of all those types of people. You are not saved until the Grace of Jehovah removes all that Satan has given to you from this rotten system that Satan owns. All the emotionalism = death.
      Romans 13:8
Do not owe anything to anyone except to love one another; for whoever loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law.
It is a matter of life or death that you learn to forgive. Just as you are forgiven by God, you must do the same to your enemies.
      1 Peter 4:8
Above all things, have intense love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
      Deuteronomy 6:5
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength.
28 One of the scribes who had come up and heard them disputing, knowing that he had answered them in a fine way, asked him: “Which commandment is first* of all?” 29 Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah* our God is one Jehovah,* 30 and you must love Jehovah* your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul* and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’+ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
It is a matter of great urgency that you get this right. You will never enter God's Kingdom if you hate God's people.
It is a matter of life and death.

Hatred is reserved for true fiends, not mindless sheep. I would rather be a goat anyday. Will Jesus really condemn goats when he comes again in power and glory? Jesus of Nazareth was a goat. He was crucified because he was a goat. I suggest that Christ will embrace the goats and tell the sheep to work harder. Blind faith in ignorance is not faith. It is blind, ignorant, and dangerous. Love? Praying for the imminent destruction of humans and animals is not love. Checking out homes to move into after such destruction is not love. Christ agrees. You are the apostate. I am not.

According to John 4: 23, 24 What makes us true worshippers? If we are following a lie then we are not a true worshipper!
      And you misapply the Watchtower!
However, we do love our and help our brothers … and after all it is a command “. . .Honor men of all sorts, have love for the whole association of brothers, be in fear of God, honor the king.” 1PE 2:17
But it also appears you left out some very important information!
*** w17 May pp. 5-6 Helping “Foreign Residents” to “Serve Jehovah With Rejoicing” ***
      GIVING REFUGEES PRACTICAL HELP
11 At first, we may need to supplement our brothers’ food, clothing, or other basic needs. Even small gestures, like giving a brother a necktie, mean a lot. And when refugees show gratitude, never demanding anything, they help their hosts to experience the joy of giving. Granted, living indefinitely on others’ generosity may erode the self-respect of the refugees and may damage their relationships with other brothers. (2 Thess. 3:7-10) But they do need practical help.
12 Giving refugees practical help requires, not a lot of money, but mainly our time and concern. It may be as simple as showing them how to use public transportation, how to shop for healthful but inexpensive foods, or how to obtain tools or equipment-such as a sewing machine or a lawn mower-in order to earn some income. More important, you can help them to become fully involved in their new congregation. If possible, offer them rides to meetings. Also explain how they might approach people with the Kingdom message in your territory. Take the refugee brothers and sisters along with you in the ministry.
      PREACHING TO NON-WITNESS REFUGEES
17 Many of today’s refugees come from countries where our preaching work is restricted. Thanks to zealous Witnesses in the lands receiving refugees, thousands of refugees are hearing “the word of the Kingdom” for the first time. (Matt. 13:19, 23) Many who are “loaded down” are finding spiritual refreshment at our meetings and quickly acknowledge: “God is really among you.”-Matt. 11:28-30; 1 Cor. 14:25.
18 Those who preach to refugees *need to be “cautious” and even “shrewd.”* (Matt. 10:16; Prov. 22:3) Listen patiently to their concerns, but do not discuss politics. Follow directions from the branch office and from local authorities; *never put yourself or others at risk. Learn and respect refugees’ religious and cultural sensitivities.* For instance, people from some lands have strong feelings about proper dress for women. Therefore, when preaching to refugees, dress so as not to cause needless offense.
19 Like the neighborly Samaritan in Jesus’ illustration, we want to help suffering people, including those who are not Witnesses. (Luke 10:33-37) The best way to do so is by sharing the good news with them. “It is important to make clear right away that we are Jehovah’s Witnesses and that our primary mission is to help them spiritually, not materially,” notes an elder who has helped many refugees. “Otherwise, some may associate with us only for personal advantage.”
Nowhere in the article does it say “that non-Jehovah’s Witnesses be given no material support” those are you words.
I have no idea why you not be truthful ... but perhaps “. . .Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. . .” - 1JO 3:13, 14

    JEHOVAH IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
The expression translated from the two words Yehwah′ Tsidh·qe′nu, found at Jeremiah 23:6 and 33:16.
Jeremiah 23:5, 6 is a Messianic prophecy describing the future king sprouting from David’s line to “execute justice and righteousness in the land.” Since he rules as God’s representative (even as David, and others, sat “upon Jehovah’s throne” as God’s anointed king; 1Ch 29:23), the prophecy says, “This is his name with which he will be called, Jehovah Is Our Righteousness.” There is no basis for claiming, as some have, that this means that Jesus, the Messiah, and Jehovah are the same, forming one God. This can be seen from the fact that the similar Messianic prophecy at Jeremiah 33:14-16 applies the identical expression to Jerusalem, saying: “And this is what she will be called, Jehovah Is Our Righteousness.” In both cases the expression shows that God’s name, Jehovah, placed both upon his promised king and upon his chosen capital, is a guarantee of their righteousness. Moreover, the justice and righteousness emanating from or expressed by these sources are the product of full devotion to Jehovah and his divine will, bringing Jehovah’s blessing and direction.

The number one percentage of pedophiles, rapists, extortioinsts, and just plain adulterers is in the Baptist church. It takes a lot of arrogance to claim these Bible people as your own when they lived many thousands of years before the Witnesses wee formed. My mom was expelled from school for flag salute. It was not courage. She was very sad because she loved school and dreamed of being a teacher. The motivation was that my JW grandmother would have punished her so severely. They were children following the orders of their parents. I also had to fight for the simple right to finish high school. That was courage. Phil Donahue is NOT endorsing the Witnesses. He is endorsing the Constitution of the United States, a country the Witnesses believe is evil. They would take all our western civil rights and civil liberties. Our very notion of fairness and justice in every civilization would cease. If they had control of a territory, they would be no different than ISIS or the Taliban. Roman Catholics, Episcopalians, and Lutherans, to name a few, have long passed stronger tests of courage. I agree with Donohue that our civil rights are crucial. Show me the specific chapter and verse in a true Bible. It is not even int the New World Translation. Yet more proof that Witnesses fail to know their Bible. Today, they don't even know the Watchtower. Standards were never great and they have declined. No Bible verse states that Jesus of Nazareth or the Risen Christ is a Witness. Prove your assertion.

He is NOT agreeing with Witness beliefs. Phil Donahue is speaking about the role of the US Supreme Court as part of a forum organized by the Justice Robert Jackson Foundation. Robert Jackson was a Supreme Court justice and , if my memory serves me right, he was one of the judges of the Nuremberg Tribunal Jehovah had nothing to do with legal reasoning used by the justices. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. WT lit will not get you to college, let alone law school. Anna, you are a poor apologist for the Witnesses.

"Few see it as you do." Aside from demagogic people on the right, such as Trump, every American believes in religious freedom. I certainly do and i do not support the Witnesses as a choice. Freedom is important. What is sad is that Witnesses would deny other people their freedom. Witnesses would be as the Taliban or ISIS if they had political control. They only care about their rights, not the rights of a community or country. I became a lawyer because of these cases. My mom and uncle were expelled from school. They were only children doing their parents' bidding. Mostly their mother's bidding. They had no choice but to not salute the flag. In five decades of practice, I have heard no one assert that expelling children or punishing parents for not saluting the flag was a good thing. You have very biased eyes. Yet the WT allows national flags inside Kingdom Halls in Peru, and Chile. Witnesses in Mexico pay bribes and pay to support the political apparatus. While the WT made payments and allowed flags inside their very place of worship, Witnesses inMalawi were mowed down. The difference is simple. When WT corporate assets are threatened, the WT sees new light. When individual Witnesses suffer, all is hunky dory.

Few saw it as Jesus did as well.
You say you're a lawyer? I doubt it. My step daughter is a lawyer and she said when she attended Law School it was then that my beliefs became more clear to her. She said that JW's have paved the way for ALL RELIGIOUS organizations to share their faith if they see fit to. Most don't of course. However, the cases we've won have made religious freedoms more sure for ALL people. We have no desire or need to deny people their freedoms. We could make issue of religious holidays being celebrated in public schools. We dont. We let our children stay home when these occasions take place RATHER than step on the rights of those who WANT to celebrate, even though, as a lawyer, you should know it's illegal to celebrate religious holidays in a public school setting.
You would also know (if you were a lawyer) that JW's are NOT political. We do not vote. We do not run for public office, so our rule of the world will never happen. We KNOW human rule doesn't work and that only God's Kingdom will solve man's problems.
Sad that you can't give your mother and uncle the credit they deserve for making such a courageous stand at such a critical and devastating time in our world's past.
Last but not least, comparing us to the Taliban or Isis is about as ridiculous as your comment gets. We are peaceful, law abiding people and are known the world over as such. We refuse to go to war even though in times past it has cost our brothers and sisters their lives. JW's were many of the first in the concentration camps in Germany because of our refusal to fight in Hitlers war. Many were shot by firing squad and some beheaded - even young men only 19 years old! Check it out at the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. We also weren't firing AT those Americans, French,, Italians and others in the war, while Catholic was killing Catholic and Protestant killing Protestant.

The U.S. Constitution (which guarantees our freedom to practice whatever religion we choose) and the Bill of Rights did not stop the abuse of Jehovah’s Witnesses or their children. Nothing was done when I, as a 5 yr old kindergartener, was spanked over the knee of my teacher in front of the entire class for not celebrating Christmas. Nothing was done when I was in 6th grade and my teacher berated and screamed at me in front of the entire class for not saluting the flag and told the entire class that I was a Communist because I was a Jehovah’s Witness and “those people” don’t fight for their country. Nothing was done when I was in elementary school and was beaten to a pulp in the girls gym locker room by a girl, and many other students, who took turns doing the same thing. I’m certain the teacher could hear the yelling, screaming, whooping and hollering from the crowd, but did nothing. Nothing was was done on my first day of high school when this SAME GIRL took scissors out of the teacher’s desk and proceeded to cut off my long hair in front of the entire class, as the teacher turned her back and started writing something on the blackboard despite my cries for help. Nothing was done when my high school history teacher gave the class the assignment of polling people in their neighborhoods during an election year. When I respectfully asked my teacher to assign me another project, because Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t vote and we maintain neutrality, I was screamed at and told that if I refused to do the assignment I would fail the entire semester. He refused to give me another assignment, despite my repeated requests. Upon asking him what if others in my class refused to do the assignment, would they also receive a failing grade for the semester? His reply was “Yes, if they’re Jehovah’s Witnesses.” At the end of the semester, my grades were : B, B and F, with an average grade of F for the semester. My mother called the teacher to ask how he determined my semester grade was an F, when 2 B’s and an F should have been a passing grade for the semester? He told her the same thing again that he told me, since I refused to do the assignment, I failed the semester. Only after going to the principal and showing my report card to him, did my history teacher modify my semester grade to a D minus, which was passing, but certainly not the average grade for the semester. As I grew up enduring all this and more, I learned that a Constitutional Law was only a piece of paper that these people rationalized didn’t apply to me. And that breaking that same law didn’t apply to them. Now, I’m a 64 year old servant of Jehovah. As His slave, I get far better treatment than a slave of this system.

6Then the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.

Phil ...wow. I was a JW for 42 years....and just walked away one day seven years ago.
I was not disfellowshiped or kicked out, just got tired of all the meetings and knocking on doors of people who do not care. There are some JWs who are not good, in time they will be found out. Most really believe in the Truth they learn and you will not have to fear that they will kill you or your loved ones. You do know I am sure that Jesus and his apostles with disciples went from door to door and house to house, city to city to spread the word and make converts in that way... but many of us are fishermen, bakers, shoemakes and people who are trying to raise a family and I would rather leave the teaching and disciple making to those who wish to do it. I really do not believe Jehovah will kill innocent babies who are born into a non believing family. In seven years I have met many wonderful people out here in the world. I have opened my eyes, but I have not joined any other religion. I say; walk softly and carry a big stick brother. We should have never went to Vietnam, what did we gain or prove? We lost thousands of good boys. I was in old Saigon last September, now known as Ho Chi Minh City ...the people are beautiful kind and simply wonderful, the food is good and streets were clean. I actually cried for their lost boys.

"I really do not believe Jehovah will kill innocent babies who are born into a non believing family."
🤷‍♂️ Neither did Pharaoh of Egypt and the vast majority of Egyptians who had their first born babies killed by Jehovah due to their lack of exercising faith in the saving power of the blood of the lamb...
      But it happened nonetheless.
Then there's also the testimony of Almighty Jehovah God’s word as recorded in both Ezekiel and Revelation where it is written:
"Then he thundered, “Call those to whom I have given the city! Tell them to bring their weapons with them!”
2 Six men appeared at his call, coming from the upper north gate, each one with his sword. One of them wore linen clothing and carried a writer’s case strapped to his side. They all went into the Temple and stood beside the bronze altar. 3 And the glory of the God of Israel rose from between the Guardian Angels where it had rested and stood above the entrance to the Temple.
And the Lord called to the man with the writer’s case 4 and said to him, “Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who weep and sigh because of all the sins they see around them.”
5 Then I heard the Lord tell the other men: “Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead isn’t marked. Spare not nor pity them- 6 kill them all-old and young, girls, women, AND LITTLE CHILDREN; but don’t touch anyone with the mark. And begin right here at the Temple.” And so they began by killing the seventy elders.
7 And he said, “Defile the Temple! Fill its courts with the bodies of those you kill! Go!” And they went out through the city and did as they were told."
      ~ EZEKIEL 9:1-7
      (Living Bible Version)
"Then I saw heaven opened and a white horse standing there; and the one sitting on the horse was named Faithful and True-the one who justly punishes and makes war. 12 His eyes were like flames, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on his forehead, and only he knew its meaning. 13 He was clothed with garments dipped in blood, and his title was “The Word of God.”[Jesus Christ‼️] 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in finest linen, white and clean, followed him [Jesus Christ‼️] on white horses.
15 In his mouth he [Jesus Christ‼️] held a sharp sword to strike down the nations; he ruled them with an iron grip; and he trod the winepress of the fierceness of THE WRATH of Almighty God. 16 On his robe and thigh was written this title: “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sunshine, shouting loudly to the birds, “Come! Gather together for the supper of the Great God! 18 Come and eat the flesh of kings, and captains, and great generals; of horses and riders; AND OF ALL HUMANITY, both great AND SMALL, slave and free.” "
      ~ REVELATION 19:11-18
      (Living Bible Version)
Once you come to understand that ALL humanity (including infants) are IMPERFECT/ STAINED IN SIN FROM CONCEPTION, under condemnation of death by God's wrath and can ONLY be saved by exercising faith in the saving power of the shed blood of THE LAMB OF GOD (Jesus Christ), you'll remain in ignorance of this most sacred truth.
EVERYONE deserves eternal death and it is ONLY due to Jehovah God's IMMENSE love and UNDESERVED kindness/grace/mercy in sending His most beloved only begotten Son to die as a sacrifice that those of humanity who choose to exercise faith in that sacrifice have HOPE IN SALVATION. The apostle Paul shows at 1 Corinthians 7:14 that out of consideration for parents who faithfully serve God, Jehovah views their young children as holy.
This motivates God-fearing parents to be careful about their own standing with God, out of loving concern for their offspring. To young ones who are old enough to exercise faith and demonstrate obedience to God’s commands, Jehovah extends the privilege of having an approved standing as His servants through Christ.
👉 This is but only yet another reason that Jehovah has His witnesses preaching far and wide the message of the good news of His now established heavenly Kingdom Government as a witness to all the nations BEFORE the long awaited END of this entire global ungodly system of things is VERY SOON brought to fulfillment (Matthew 24:14).
🙏 May Jehovah through Christ Jesus grant your eyes and heart to be opened while there is still time... Once The Great Tribulation BEGINS, the door will be shut and mankind will face the consequences of their choice at that time.

Marking the foreheads of those who wept and sighed because of the hatred and violence around them shows that they had love in their hearts for others and the God of love. That's why they were marked and spared. When Jesus was anointed, he taught us that Jehovah had not changed in that those who show love, hate what is bad and take no part in it and love their Creator who gives all good things will have the real life. The life for which humans were first made.

Stop! saluting a flag of any kind. There's no reason to. The flag has no feelings or power within it. Why does anyone salute a flag? I can respect the government without bowing, I can love the part of the earth I live on without taking a life nor giving mine, and I can obey laws until they conflict with our Most High. I don't need to pledge my alliegense to fabrics or symbols of government or religion. Symbolic observation of anything even of our Creator is wrong to Him, so nobody should be doing this and millions are not and most are not JWs but people that have learned they should not so no longer do. I am not a jw but I am thankful for the foundation I got from going to kingdom Hall most my life. It helped me to continue to avoid what He does not want people to do. I actually don't like celebration of Holliday's to my core, in a good way. I love it. I prefer being given love and presents all year round from family. A thought about being brave or being frightened. My parents converted when I was five years old. For way too many years, I was the odd kid on the block. My dad conducted the one hour bible study on Tuesday evenings and I was always there with him. That included being at the ministry school meetings on Thursdays for two hours, the one hour public lecture on Sunday afternoons followed by another hour for the Watchtower study. Prior to the Sunday meetings, I was with him for several hours preaching door to door. (I would do an Indian tribal dance in my bedroom praying for rain!) Several times a week he would offer a drive to some of the older brothers and sisters and then return them home after the chats at meetings end. There's plenty of information available now thanks to the internet that would have made heads spin back in the fifty's and sixty's so I won't comment on other issues. Read them for yourself and see how many stories start sounding the same. When my mother took her life, my dad was a mess. There were no services at the Kingdom Hall for her because of her actions. Several years later my dad married a divorced woman. He was disfellowshiped and shunned by the very people he had helped over the years. He died a painful death a few years after that from colon cancer. He didn't receive any cards or flowers while in the hospital and not one person came to see him. So much for being the "lost sheep". Here's my question to all the JW's still out there preaching. If Jesus had been walking by my fathers room while he was taking his final breaths, Do you think he would have stopped in?

My mother got involved with these freaks when I was probably 6 years old and I remember in 1974 because she was so scared of the autumn of 1975 when they implied heavily in their literature that Armageddon was coming. I remember vividly my mother and Elder and his wife telling me how I had to get baptized and would get baptized or my mother would died in Armageddon because of me. At 14 years old sitting on my bed I had a rifle in my mouth ready to blow my brains out because I didn't want to be responsible for my mother's death . Thankfully I couldn't find it in me to pull that trigger. So little girl there are a lot of us out here who know the truth about this organization and the people in it and that's all I've got to say.

Thanks Phil for sharing some insight into our religion and brotherhood. We are an international organization. The Bible when talking about the followers of Jesus Christ, referred to them as the Way before the name Christian came to be. Being a JW is a way of life, the best life. Our life is based on only Gods Word the Bible. We are on a cramped road leading to everlasting life Many pray the “Our Father”prayer , but don’t really understand it. Jesus instructed his followers to say within this pray “Let Your Kingdom Come On Earth as it is in Heaven “ This is our main objective, that we be subjects of Jehovah’s Kingdom, Jehovah’s name will be cleared of all reproach. His Kingdom will not be ruled by imperfect men but by Jesus Christ. All who claim to be Christian should be anxious for Christ rule as we are. There are many good people in this world, but Jehovah wants your worship. As far as Jehovah is concerned, if you’re not worshiping him, you are worshiping Satan the Devil, his adversary. Every knee will bend. Go to JW. Org and get the truth straight from the Book that Jehovah transcribed, The Holy Bible. Our life in this system is not the real life and all that glitters is not gold. Praise Jah.

If we want to live in a world filled with love and joy that Jehovah promises in the Bible, then we must conform to the laws of love.
No person who causes suffering can live in a world of peace and health. Sin is the root cause of suffering, so we must fight with those tenancies and with Jehovah's help we can win. Every day I am freer and better because of Jehovah. All those sins we have been so attached to, are really diseases. Sins will drag you around by the nose, like a slave or a pig with a ring in the nose. Compulsions and all those stupid desires of the flesh have no rewards at all, yet these diseased, inherited, "impressions" are in us from our ancestors who screwed up and gave these diseases to us. Sin = diseased mind and heart.
With Jehovah's grace you can be free from the slavery to sins. That way you can live in a world free of death; free of suffering, free from diseases, and live in peace.
    Romans 5:12, 21
12 That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned-.
21 To what end? So that just as sin ruled as king with death,+ so also undeserved kindness might rule as king through righteousness leading to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.+

That's all nice and fluffy but the reality is The Watchtower is not what is appears to be. For example, it continually lies about its own history. The 19th Century Bible Students were not expecting the Last Days and Christ's Rule as King in 1914 as jw.org teaches. If you read the pre-1914 publications you will see that they were expecting Armageddon and an end to the system within the year of 1914.

Satan is the father of the lie.
Yes they were expecting the end to come. So has ever preacher who has ever read the Bible.
We know that the earth is about to be changed, because all the prophesies in the Bible are coming true right NOW.
Churches as in Revelation prophesy are being devastated, destroyed and some 3500 people are leaving Christendom everyday.
Earthquakes have increased at a HUGE rate in just the last 15 years.
You do not have much time to get right with Jehovah, our creator. And I can assure you that the lies you believe are causing you to fail.
It is a failed religion to offer any peace to anyone. All of that crap you get about God's People on earth comes from greedy disgusting churches in which they promote people to go and kill others in war, and to kill other Christians in the name of god (satan) and country. .
Jehovah's Bible offers peace to those who want to learn what it actually says.

GoodScienceForYou It is The Watchtower that is lying. Charles Russell was expecting Armageddon in 1914, yet The Watchtower continually states that (quote) _"the 19th Century bible students were eagerly expecting Christ's Rule and the Last Days to begin in 1914"_. This is a complete lie! The 19th century bible students were not expecting those events because Charles Russell believed the Last Days began in 1799 and Christ's Rulership as King began in 1878. By 1913 they believed they were already deep into the Last Days. Russell stated that 1914 marked 115 years into the Time of the End. It is you who is being lied to.

    • @GoodScienceForYou
      @GoodScienceForYou 8 лет назад +1

Si mon It does not matter what Charles Russel believed. He was just at the beginning of this. He, like me, realized that most religious are full of crap, and he was struggling to get free from that crap, by studying the Bible.
Now we have nearly 100 years of deep study of the ancient scrolls, and many millions of hours of detailed understanding of the Bible.
It wasn't until 1925 that they realized that Christmas was a disgusting holiday where children were burned ever day for 12 days to death, and people in Rome ran naked in the streets and had random sex, and all laws were not enforced for this "holiday". Much pedophilia also.
Christmas was banned in the USA for a long time.
Now we can easily see that the end is very near, because humans are so sickly, weak and stupid that they cannot live as a species for more than 100 more years.
We have degraded more, genetically, from serious diseases in the last 100 years than in the 2000 years prior.

    • @Simon-pl2zi
      @Simon-pl2zi 8 лет назад

GoodScienceForYou you've completely missed the point. What the modern day Watchtower claims Russell was expecting in 1914 contradicts historical facts. He was expecting Armageddon to end the system, not the beginning of the conclusion os the system or Christ's Rule. The modern day Watchtower has deliberately hidden this important fact.

Does the WT Organization recommend reading the Bible???
    The Watchtower, Aug. 15, 1981; p29
"From time to time, there have arisen from among the ranks of Jehovah's people those who,
like the original Satan, have adopted an independent, faultfinding attitude . . . They say that
it is sufficient to read the Bible exclusively, either alone or in small groups at home. But, strangely,
through such 'Bible reading,' they have reverted right back to the apostate doctrines that commentaries
by Christendom's clergy were teaching 100 years ago..."
Amazing. I would highly recommend that you in fact do read the Bible...you will be shocked.

***** I have been to their web site many times. I study with JWs regularly, shown many of them the truth of God's Holy Word. I have even had elders to say to me that they discourage independent Bible reading and study and have been absolutely shocked by things written in the Bible....hmmm?
Many of the JWs have been convinced by the WT society writings that they must use their publications in order to understand the Bible. If you read the the Watchtower post I posted then you would know that in fact they DO NOT promote daily bible reading, however promote reading only WT literature.
Ask yourself, did the NT writers include an extra document to explain what the scriptures actually say?, when Paul wrote his epistles did he send anything extra or just the epistle??
2 Tim 3:15-17 And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Bible alone is sufficient, it does not contradict as man's teachings and writings do. It says what it says. Thank you Jesus for your awesome Holy Word.
