@@jckdnls9292 That's fine with me, as long as it's not in your face, I'm good with that as well. They try hard to be fair, and at the same time they are not perfect people. They are pretty good guys to me. If you look hard enough, I guess you'll see anything you want to see.

It matters to me with others in my country. They aren’t here & whatnot so it makes no difference to me.
To be honest I found the channel write when I start College last year and it’s the best stress reliever 😂
I remember recently that the teens on the React channel would have to fake their reactions and if it wasn't good enough they would just cut them. A lot of the teens (who are adults now) have trauma from this channel.

one of my favorite channels was company owned so when they went bankrupt, they started to remove videos off of youtube, not bc of them being dicks, but because it was creating revenue no one was collecting. another fan decided to work around the ToS to reupload them mirrored or in reaction form. i love those videos and im really glad they re-uploaded them. ofcourse people do, do it with malice intent, but theres some people who do it bc theyre real fans.
There is a smaller RUclips creator that's struggling now I think RUclips is getting out of hand. I'm to the point of complaining to the government about this. I love your channel shared it with my family,I hope you guys keep up the good work

@@officeblokedaz it was the original show, with Bob Saget. My mum was trying to bake cookies, but I kept getting into the flour and blowing giant flour clouds. He did his funny voice over. Didn’t win, but they did send me a t-shirt.
I love watching you guys because you're reactors, not "influencers". You give the thoights that something triggers and stop at that. It's best to keep religion and politics out of online because no matter what you say it'll be an arguement with someone.
Usually the ones who yell the loudest have the most to hide.

I watched quite a few of those Fine Brothers reaction videos back in the day but I must say this: This whole thing tends to remind us all of just how brittle any internet business can be. The internet is like vapor; channels, websites etc. disappearing into thin air at a moments notice. The Fine Bros. got too arrogant for their own good and this is the result.
Yeah, I've unsubbed from very few RUclips channels but it's almost always them getting into politics that gets me there.
I used to love their content, but I unsubbed to all of their stuff when this went down. Since then, I've heard horror stories from people who worked on their channels as reactors. Stuff like aggressive over-producing of kids and teens, refusing to pay day-rates if reactions weren't over the top enough for them, etc...
Alot of those bigger channels though kinda have negative light ... Can't remember the actual name but they had irish people react ...sounds like they really limited what they could do and say
@@GVoodoo I know the channel you're talking about. They had leather jacket guy for the longest time, then he left. Apparently that channel was a sht-show as well, but they're still around.
@@GVoodoo Yeah the RUclips community of big channels is pretty sketchy in general and full of drama. Ethan Klein of H3 (shown in the video) points it out all the time. He's been sued like 3 times for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Although to be fair, drama and online gossip is kind of his brand as well.

I don't know these fine brothers but the whole I support BLM but i also did blackface and run a company that allows racial aggressions stood out to me. The podcast reply all had a similar issue,
I can only speak for America as a person of color but what i've found is here many well meaning white Americans only have a surface level of understanding of issues of systemic racism and racial bias, largely because in America if you're white you can basically, just live your life an ignore it. Freeways are built so you don't have to go to black neighborhoods, the schools, hospitals, are often separated because of old race based housing patterns. And people think, "I like the I have a dream speech and i don't burn crosses on peoples lawn and thus I've no involvement in racism." But the reality is America, has had problems with race from before it was the USA. And we are all born into a system with biases from before we were born; segregated housing before we were born, segregated schools, underfunded schools, police violence. Workplace discrimination. They think unless you're hitler or in the kkk they don't support anything racist even unconciously. But the whole, not wanting to allow blacks to be promoted, or be on camera, or be in the thumbnail because whites won't like it is a long standing thing that goes on. Especially in hollywood. The reason Black Panther was a surprise was it proved that you could have a legit blockbuster with a predominantly black cast and white people would still go to it. That is legit progress. But it's been a long time coming. But, for me its not a case of people shouldn't speak out or show support. But, the problem here is they didn't look at themselves, their own actions, their own business practices. Because if they did they'd have said what they should have said. Now they might have still got hate from elsewhere or people that hated them for other things but what they could have said was "blah blah blah in the wake the George Floyd protest, we've been prompted to look at ourselves and how we can make things better...." "What we found is..." Then you talk about your past, black face, how your business made mistakes. And then you don't just pledge to act but you make changes. Maybe you talk about how you now understand that this skin color thing is colorism and is just another facet of skin color racism. And you discuss how you are changing. That shows an actual understanding of systemic bias, bias in the workplace etc. And shows a real effort.

People blew them copyrighting their FORMAT way out of context though. They made it very clear it was their format and NOT copyrighting every single video with the word react in it... Just like you don't owe P&G money if you ever use the word "Tide" 🙄
You can't copywrite a reaction format. It's been done a million times before already.

I used to subscribe to FBE from about 2016 to 2019. It seemed like a fun entertaining show. I didn't unsubscibed because of political or social reasons I unsubscribed because the content got boring. Their videos started to be more of the same thing with the same people.
P.S. I just looked up their latest video which was a reaction video and after not seeing that channel for 3 years
4 out of the 5 reactors are the same people from whe I used to sub.
I use to love their channel too. They had a great format. The finebro who always wears a beanie too far back like a hipster is so annoying. Plus his eyes are too far apart.

It never ceases to amaze me how anyone could ever think black face is even remotely acceptable, especially after the Civil Rights Movement of the sixties?! Even as child in the sixties, I knew it not appropriate.
Idk lets say two friends show up to a halloween party one black and one white.
They decide to go as each other since they were life long friends.
The white one does blackface
The black one does whiteface
Is that remotely acceptable?

Would "reaction format" be similar to an artistic painter claiming no one else can use an easel and paint to express themselves? Then again, if another artist precisely copies original artwork, I get it, that's wrong. But, if I paint a field of sunflowers, Van Gogh's estate should not come for me.

As far as politics goes it’s complete and total scam and I’m here for the clown show that it is sports reaction channels and spending time with family is a perfect distraction from all of it.
I remember hearing about how you couldn't have the word react in your title. Even my dumb kid brain knew that wasn't right and stopped watching. A couple of the other youtubers I watched got claimed by them and it was horrible. There was a lot of evidence of mistreatment and scripting which even my child brain was able t figure out, really terrible and selfish people.
I remember this whole React controversy, I was a huge fan of the FB's content but when this happened I unsubscribed and seeing how they got political I'm glad I stopped watching their channels.
I found them too PC. Plus the reactors came across as over-the-top and kinda phoney most times.
I like sunnyv2 bt he should stick to being an unbiased commentator, in the video about ninja its clear Sunny had a past negative interaction with ninja. He states ninja is doing bad when ninja is still getting milions per month and has already completed life basically, he also used lots of personal insults and sounded jealous. Lots of people called Sunny out on that.
Yep, I unsubscribed and stopped watching their channel at the tail end of 2019. I watch RUclips to be entertained not for political reasons.
7:22 What this is is people how do not understand copyright law or have been given bad advice as to what they can protect and prevent others from doing. There is a fundamental theory of copyright law "you cannot protect an idea." To clarify, you can copyright and protect an invention or piece of artwork you can't protect the idea for that art. So you can copyright, your movie named Star Wars. You cannot copyright the idea of ships at war in space and prevent other people from making a movie about ships at war in space. Which is why we have Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica etc. Thus you can make a video of kids reacting and copyright that literal video but you can't copyright the idea of kids reacting to things.
Attempting to trademark the word "react" cannot be done because you simply cannot trademark "words in common usage." So you can't copyright "dog, cat, pool, blue, etc." And there are a million other things you're not gonna get to trademark because its way too common. That is why people try to come up with unique words they can monetize.
Not getting involved in politics: The thing here in the US is lots of things that are human decency issues or morality issues are labeled as "political" so that people can not address the issue.

Their reactions always felt fake and they were overreacting. The office blokes have more character than every reactor on their channels combined.
Hearing the bit about how they dealt with things it occurred for a moment that it’s reminiscent of woke stuff. Then the blm thing came up. They’re that kind of thing.
If you are in a position where you don’t have any issues to protest- you are in a privileged position. Most people aren’t in that position.
