Looks very cool! I think the thing I love most about this piece is the bezel weirdly. I like the logo too. Like you said it looks like a surfboarrd floating in water. Thats dope! Overall I like this a lot. A+ Helium, well done! Take care Jason!
I pinched it off your wrist have a look at in manchester its a beautiful piece, i instantly went in the website on the train home to see what they had in regards to colours. Keep up the good work
I like the colours, bezel style hands and dial, but with a quartz movement it could easily be 10 to 11mm thick and still be 200m water resistent. I have two watches 14mm thick and they don't wear very well.
@JasonTheWatchGuy I get it, sometimes people just want a big bulky watch, but I find them a pain to wear. It would be boring if we all wanted the same.
Hmm. Well, the lack of lume on the seconds hand could be deliberate - maybe so you don't know it's a quartz watch in the dark? The hands are too flat and polished to be legible at multiple angles. Is there any AR coating? Some of the details are lacking - the Union flag on the back is incorrect (look closely at the thick/thin on the diagonals - should alternate), and the use of the font Arial for 'British Design' is a very 'default' type choice. And if I'm not mistaken, that's Times on the chapter ring numerals - perhaps this was designed in PowerPoint. Love the strap attachment system! And the 'Deus' style logo fits the surf vibe well.
Have to keep it interesting 😅 man, with the amount of offers I get from Ali brands I could do one daily but what's the point? I love to see new designs
Hi Jason, Hope you are all well there. I like it. But I don’t think it would look good without a wetsuit on, know what I mean? I’ll stick to my Animal W001. All the best mate.👍🏾🇬🇧😉
Doesn't Appeal to me, which is a shame, because I always support British industries, especially with in the watch market. So don't understand your enthusiasm for it, over priced, big, chunky & Quartz, £150 would be too much. Sorry but that's how I feel.
@JasonTheWatchGuy you're correct, what I find aesthetically pleasing will differ to what someone else will. An example Citizens new ultra thin dress piece, something I will never wear, however I still think it's an amazing piece of kit & appreciate what it is. This Helium watch, you're over hyping it, when it really isn't deserving, and its not just looks. Peace out.
why is every other watch a dive watch ? dont know about you but i hardly ever meet people that go diving , and the divers i do meet would never go to 100m , unless eated by a shark .......
I think the thing is with these pieces, a lot of the design is the value over pieces that are homaging others. As I mentioned though, I would have liked a better movement
@ I be would be happy to pay more for that watch if it was steel with a pvd coating & an automatic movement, I really like the design & but think they’ve got it wrong , as I write this I’m looking at a San Martin SN 009 , it’s very hard to see any value in that watch when you’ve one of these in your hands . But I do really like that Hellium design
😂 for a moment I was thinking you were shooting from the toilet seat 🤣
Thanks again for the great videos 💙
That'd be the quickest way to get demonetised 😅

That bezel feel so premium when you're using it! Really took me by surprise after reviewing other carbon based pieces
@@JasonTheWatchGuy I want to turn it hahaha! 😅

You did haha, it's absolutely fantastic, especially for sub 300! Thanks for watching 👍
@@JasonTheWatchGuyAnd I was with him! 😂
I remember the crowd 😅
Never heard of Helium. Good find. Like the quick release and the style in general.
I didn't know much about them until this one came across the desk. Definitely one I'd like to work with again! Thanks for watching.
Good looking watch and a good price. Nice work, Jason!
Thanks, Rob! Hope you enjoyed watching buddy
Thanks for sharing, Jason. I like the red version but a tad too big for me. If they every make a smaller version then I would definitely be interested
If they make a smaller one I'll definitely be reviewing it!
Love that aggressive looking bezel!
Same here! Fantastic design note

It definitely could be slimmer but I like that it's thicker!

@dunderhay9169 exactly, that's why I like to review a range of watches. Try to appeal to different people

Hello Mr. J ! Very cool watch and excellent Union Jack on the back side, too bad that it isn't on the front side as well 👍 Cheers and stay well 👺
Thanks for watching mate!
I dig!! How dare u Not throw yet another Meh 39mm from Ali at us with nothing more than a goofy design!😂
Have a fab weekend🎉!

This thing needs lume on the seconds hand to be a proper diver. Great review
Thanks for watching
No doubt this is a very capable and well made watch. But I‘d pick up a more refined Scurfa Diver One Titanium instead.
The only room for improvement that I find is that the seconds hand has no lume. Other than that, it's really impressive and has a very cool design.
Yeh, it would have been nice to be lumed, personally I don't mind it though
Great review
Thank you big man!
OK he Liam but what's the watch called?
nice review but your great macro photography isn't doing that bezel any favours !
$400 is not "too cheap" IMHO. Beaut for sure, but there's a lot of competition below that price point.
Hey, it's okay to not agree 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for watching
Oh c'mon. After doing review from kitchen now from toilet? ;-) 🙂
God I'm glad it wasn't a toilet, imagine that echo
I prefer their Paul Thorpe colab editions. They look better imo.
FAT !!!!! My 8,7 ihch wrist shouts out: "BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT ° 🤑🤑🤑
Be perfect on a bigger wrist
Nice but its not for me.
I would pay up to 120 pounds max for that watch.
This falls into the "I don't not like it" category.
That's fair

Just because you don't have enthusiasm for it doesn't mean others won't, including myself. I think it's fantastic but it's okay that you don't 😊

$383 USD for a Quartz? Nope
why is every other watch a dive watch ?
dont know about you but i hardly ever meet

would never go to 100m , unless eated by a shark .......
It's the most popular style, no one ever uses it but the conatations of its capabilities and the overall looks appeal to the masses
Too much money for a standard quartz diver imo.
Far to expensive
I disagree, you pay for quality
@ materials used & a Myota quartz movement doesn’t fit the price for me but I do like the design
