Farm & Garden update for June 30, 2024

- I've been busy with the site preparation for the 20'x20' carport. The woodchipper has been awesome for removing all of the limbs. The first cut hay was a failure, only got 50 bales made, and normally get 200. Haven't had a chance to work on the baler. The garden looks good except for the sweet corn, which is a little sparse.
Things are looking beautiful Mr Robert!! How is the carport coming along? Thank you sir for the update!! Look fwd to seeing more! 😁😁
@@Pennies_on_the_dollar It's still in the boxes. Haven't even opened them yet. Hope to get a load of gravel this week for the base, then I can start building it.
@@Rdrake1413 Hopefully you can video some of that!! I can't find one cheap, scored another 53 ft trailer last week. Will.keep using those for now 🤣
@Pennies_on_the_dollar Yeah I have put off getting one for four years. Just haven't been able to find anything used or cheap.

@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin Good morning, Ed. Since my surgery, it's hard to get much done now. Hope I can at least get started this week. Will definitely get some pictures and videos to post.

I know. It's just disappointing. I just don't have the energy I used to. I'm a couple of months behind and have so many things I want to get done. I'm still hoping to get some more fences put up, but I may have to wait until fall.

Garden is growing! We've gotten some good rain in the last week, we were really needing it. I feel bad for the people in the plains, they've got a mess. How has the weather been in PA? Thank you for sharing, Robert! Hope you have a good Independence Day!
@evanaustin2636 Been really wet the last few days. Had a really good deluge yesterday. Pretty cool here today, wearing a long sleeve flannel. shirt. Hope you have a great Independence day as well
