HI Lucas, Many thanks for putting together this amazing tutorial - its exactly what I wanted... I have run through your tutorial and keep getting stuck at one point which is with the area command. For some reason mine just gives me an error message saying that 'the area properties could not be solved' Any help with that would be fantastic. and also - do you know if there is away to add height variation to this too, i.e randomness in the z plane direction? thanks and look forward to hearing from you..
Well, I'm not sure if I got the full picture of what you're trying to do, but usually when you already have a surface in Rhino, you'd only need to set it as a surface in the GH's component. Actually, you can do the same to any geometry drawn or modeled in Rhino.

Hi Lucas, your video is very helpful, thank you. How do you bake it incase the color doesn't disappear?
Thank you! Well, if you wanna bake those colors you could try the mesh colours component instead of custom preview.
If I wanted to do the same on a given surface how would you connect the script?

How to bake this with same colour?
