When I first watched this video a couple months ago, it was all just noise to me. I couldn't even conceive of copying a single word. I've been practicing about an hour a day since then, and just came back. Like magic, I'm up to about 50%! I can copy every other word. Such a strange and great feeling. I'm certain it's just a matter of time before I can rag chew on 80m across the world. :)
What's your practice like? Do you memorize a few letter a day until you have enough to spell words. I currently only remember the all dots and all dashes letter.

I am learning Morse code for 6 months I started it 10 WPM for 6 months ago Now I am here Every morning I listen this video .. Now I can copy 60 % My goal is perfectly copy this video TNX 73
Thank you very much for showing these familiar signals, which I'm really enjoying to read and try to copy, I just fall deep into my memories, for those days working as a marine radio. Best Regards! 73
Merry Christmas!!! Thanks. You videos was a very helpfully (it was a huge boost for me) ...Now I am at level where I listen some articles at speed of 21 WPM without extra spacing between letters...only some extra sapce between worlds. So, thanks again for you videos
Yeah, my recording technique isn't very sophisticated. It involves laying a microphone on top of the keyer, so it picks up other noises from my shack while I record. Sometimes you can hear the dog bark outside :)
These videos are awesome. It would be even better if they were Farnsworth and you would show the full word at the end of its transmission. Because I want to check if what I copied was right but if I look at the screen you give char by char. What do you use to make these videos?
@@RogerWilco486 agreed 100%, IMO of course. Back in the day before computers and phone apps void of TY'ers preaching all sort of alternative leaning methods, I have not heard anyone say "I learned code 20 30 wpm using the Farnsworth method. Farnsworth below 18 wpm, would be ok due to you need to learn the sound but to build speed after 20 wpm, avoid Farns like the plague.

Hi Rich, Thank you so much for this new video. I use your videos all the time to practice code. Thanks for all you do to help the amateur community.
Great to hear!
@@HamRadioQRP too fast
Very nice choice of words, steady uniform cadence. This kind of no-Farnsworth pacing is the real challenge. Thanks for this valuable presentation.
Glad it was helpful! I've included videos with both Farnsworth and non-Farnsworth timing to help folks transition.
Wish I could see a transcript in english that I could download and put iy in LICW practice generator and shuffle the words.
I love this. Morse Code with text.

That's great.
And when you succeed, you may increase speedness whith the parameters. At x2, good luck !
Thank you so much! I'm learning Morse Code with my friend :D yours videos are soooo helpful for us :)
Happy to help!
Too fast for men
i kinda heard clicking sounds in the backround
wait did you HamRadioQRP type this?

Farnsworth sucks and is a trap. Once you know all the characters, learn to copy with proper spacing and forget Farnsworth.

Wow, that fast
The brain needs a breather. a common punctuation here ant there would be a good thing, if 20 wpm is the desired practice speed.
Good work
Muy entendible
Thank you! 😘
You're welcome 😊
