Leather chairs were now covered in layers of dust and scratches from rodents that would crawl their way inside. A ghost of it’s former glory... But if you closed your eyes, you could still hear the elegiac tone of the organ... And when you opened them, the dead theater came to life. Lights that no longer worked shining with brilliance and the dreary theater’s interior looking posh as if it never had a single grain of dust. Jovial chortle echoed against the high dome ceiling, ladies in the finest dresses and gents wearing tailored made coats sat in their seats. Masks adorned their faces, hiding them from sight. A pristine organ sat on the stage as an organist with a mask of whimsy played it’s keys. The audience enjoyed the show, more laughter and sipping of wine. All not realizing that they are nothing more than the shadows of a time long forgotten...

I imagined myself walking through the woods and find a castle..it was dark and it started raining so I quickly ran into the castle and when I opened the door it made a big sound. I walked in and I was surprised but I have a feeling someone is watching me..I turned around and nothing there..I saw a piano and as soon I walked towards it music started playing..and I knew I’m gonna be stuck here.. Forever..

I would love a themed weekend at a hotel with a soaring atrium. Organ in the center, people lining every railing, dancing and singing to the music. Have a dance in the morning just before the sun rises, one in the evening after it sets, and one at midnight. Bonus if the midnight is an actual full moon directly overhead, shining down thru the skylights.
So I started writing a vampire story of sorts inspired by the original version of this, and i've been listening to it repeatedly. i'm glad that this one has been released because 1. it's so lovely and 2. it seems like sort of a 'reprise' moment for my story that I can receive inspiration from, so thank you.
