There's quite a few little gems if you hunt around the area, but this one is my favourite at High Falls.

I'm sure it will be the year of crown land camping here in Ontario. Hope it doesn't get too trampled and littered. Nice vid!

A scenic little spot just down the road from me. A quick question though, how are you able to make camp so close to a waterfall - even a little one? I find the incessant white noise drives me crazy after a few hours, so I love viewing them, swimming them in summer, and enjoying a lunch by one, but I can't ever make camp too close to one.
    Great little video, sir.
    Cheers,
    - Martin

Thanks Martin! I think it's the opposite for me... the white noise helps me sleep through that urge to pee at 3 a.m. 🤣

Where is the parking area? The one marked for trucks and trailers? I've been going to a bunch of new places but always wanted to be close to a waterfall/rapids

Right along Northeys Bay Rd on the East side of Eels Creek. Just a few minutes West of Petroglyphs Provincial Park.

So g340 is the crownland designation and I noticed a sign saying dont camp 200 meters close to here, its a big crownland area and i was wondering how off the path did you go before you can pitch a tent. Can you give me some more info about that area when it comes to camping for a night or 2,if you have time sorry i dont want to bother you but it would be so helpful before i drive up there from Oshawa. Thanks

@@Greenhead24 Sorry for the wait! Feel free to contact me through the Traversing website and I can e-mail you more information. Yes, they request that people don't just pull up and camp in direct eyesight of the parking lot. There are a few trails that branch out and you're essentially free to camp anywhere. You will come across nice scenic spots where you can tell others have camped if you're unsure where to set up a tent. You won't have to wander far.
