We have dog hair too ( Corgis) I understand. I swear I have dog fur in my lungs. Lol Thank you for this inspirational tutorial to take my yo-yos a step further.
Hi Ger , what a great share , I love how they look ... thank you for taking the time to show us how to make them. You and Mr.Snippets stay safe and well. Hugs Kay xx
kazeekins1 Thank you Kay. We are well and so relieved that Liams Dad, aka Mr Snippets senior has agreed to move down to the sticks to stay with another son (just out the road from us) while this C thingy rages....the travelling up and down to take care of the Da was getting out of hand and he had a fall last week ....Liam is going up to Dublin to collect him tomorrow and hopefully, there will be less travelling and less worry then. Hugs and best wishes to yourself, Gary and the furry ones xx
@@littlesnippets1 What a worry for you both Ger ...good to hear the stress factor regarding Liam's Dad is about to be vastly improved . I would sooner be out in the sticks than inner city Ger . Try and find some relax time . Stay well. Hugs xx
omg I love them!!!! my daughter in law is expecting and wants the nursery to be bumble bees. I could make these and then I saw some cute little crocheted bees and make a mobile or bouquet or shadow box of these flowers with bees! they are so cute and I love making yo yos and it is a pain and time consuming to turn in the raw edges and I love to hand sew..oh I just love them! thankyou for sharing. you have inspired me and made me smile and brightened my day! God Bless you!
Rae Boyd Thank you very much for leaving such a lovely comment. I hope everything goes well for your daughter please God your new grandchild will adore all the pretties you make for them. Raw edges are a pain ....and this is a great way for ignoring them. Happy crafting. Ger x
Hi Ruth. Thanks for watching great to hear from you and time to thread up the needle and use up some of the cotton hoard.....you do hoard fabric, don’t you ? 😜
Thank you for sharing! I love your closing remarks, stay safe I can do, but staying sane may be a problem. Have a wonderful day and please keep sharing your wonderful talent with us. Have a wonderful day your PNW Washington neighbor.
Hello there OMG this was an awsom video ive been looking to learn how to make yoyos and when i saw yours they are so beautiful and im so excited to try im not much of a crochet person as i never learned but im going to keep watching until i get it because i would just love to make these Thank you
Thank you. Making a hole for the crochet hook to go through the fabric can be tricky but maybe try using a darning needle or even a small hole punch. I must make more of these and try to make them easier to produce 😁
Love them Ger 😍 I was just wondering with the crocheted version did you say you started off with a slip stitch and a single crochet? If so when you get back around to the start how do you finish off? Many thanks Tracey

Hello love how you did the crochet around the yo yo was just wanting to know how you finish off the running stitch around the yo yo thankyou
I usually finish off by making a few back stitches to secure everything. Hope this helps
