Oh my word. After listening to you rave about the 100.3 silks I finally bought and spool and wow what a sweet thread. Now to add to my stash! Thanks ladies!
Pretty new linens, amazed she can get linen to dye, as so many say they cannot get 36 and 40 ZW. Linen to dye. Always glad for more linen to be in the market. Happy Stitching
I love both you guys but I must say, Brenda's stitching is just exquisite! I have been stitching almost 35 years and her stitching is the best I have ever seen. Love all you do and go big BLUE!
Oh my! Love your video. I could be lost in your basement and never find my way out and I would be in 7th heaven. I went on Amazon and purchased a few things that I just had to have. I told my sister she should have done more shopping in my craft room when she was here visiting. Loved your displays in the shadow boxes. Thank you for a wonderful tour❤️
You two are the best. A mouse running up my leg!! That sent me over the edge. This floss tube took me HOURS to watch. I had to stop so many times and shop. You are enablers. My husband even said " your friend on floss tube will be happy, Michigan won!" He even knows how Brenda loves Michigan. Thank you for a another fantastic floss tube!.
I have learned to set aside DOUBLE the time you guys talk because I have to watch your videos twice in a row, plus pause to order everything while I remember. 😂 Happy holidays! ❤️💚
OMG, the mouse story - EEEWWWW!! Laura, I am with you, I would have freaked out!!! And it just so happens the other day, we had a mouse in our main living area and bathroom (picture a small house) in which my Siamese had cornered, my male cat was standing by and my dog was also involved. Somehow, the mouse has disappeared, I am sure my Siamese got it and my male cat killed it. I am currently binge watching your videos. You both inspire me to stitch all the things!!! I just got back into stitching a year ago after 30+ years. I am an Aida stitcher (I do own some linen and I have tried it) but I prefer Aida (the over 2 is what gets my brain).
Sigh. I’m always sorry when your videos end. Love spending time with you two. You are so good for the cross stitch community. You always have news of new things to share and your choices span interests from beginner easy to complex samplers❤ Thank You for generously sharing your selves and your friendship!😊
Very pretty projects. Love those Abby Rose designs. Oh Say is awesome! Brenda, seeing that our Badgers didn't make it to championship, I rooted for MI! YAY BLUE! Marilyn
Ok Ladies. Don’t know why it’s taken me this long to decide and be successful, to finally STITCH as I listen to you. It’s been years since I’ve stitched, I haven’t lost my love fir stitching. It think about it every day. I didn’t stitch for so long a time, but just tonight I thought I’d stitch while I listened to some of your back episodes. I’m relaxed, raring and ready and stitching. Thank you from the bottom of my Stitcher’s heart.
Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This makes us SO HAPPY!!!!!!! I hope you stitch away all weekend and keep going Cait! It is good for our souls to stitch! Hugs!
Oh, say! You girls showed some beautiful samplers and Christmas stitching today😊 Thanks for keeping me entertained while I was stitching! I love a visit with Brenda and Laura!
Where’s the Ink! Brenda - you need to be using the printer at work more! I had a very lovely visit with you ladies this morning! I love all the Christmas stitching and designs - and the new Cedar River linens - Oh Say! ❤❤❤ Have a wonderful couple of weeks!
Another mouse story here. We live in a rural area, in the midst of wheat/grain fields….SO a few years ago after I bought my Halo lamp, I proudly sewed a drawstring bag with a boxed bottom out of the cutest cat fabric. I was so proud…until one day I went to my shelves to pack my stitching bag….and a MOUSE had crawled inside my beautiful bag and chewed little holes!! Grrrrr
I loved seeing all the beautiful stash! Your finish framed sampler is gorgeous! Love it! I hope you are able to get another Scottie. They are the most wonderful loyal companions as you well know. Even though I live in SC, it has been two dog night's lately. When it is chilly, both Winston and Stryker get so close to my feet and knees and curl up to sleep. So comfy and warm. My Scotties will catch your mouse! Stat! I can see marching orders coming for the Prairie Schooler Santa in the sleigh piece! Hope you have a new doggie by the time I see you again! Dottie
Classic show ladies, enjoyed every minute, I didn't want it to end. And, "operators standing by", I nearly fell off my chair laughing! Happy stitching 💚🪡
What a wonderful treat it is to watch/visit with both of you!!! I don't even know where to begin commenting except to say Prairie Schooler just melts my heart - so many memories wrapped up in my PS Santas especially. Thank you for making me think of every mouse story I have!!! The most recent one occurred when we first moved to this house and it had sat empty for six months. One of our former cats, Elsie, was a great mouser and loved to bring us gifts (usually by the door in the kitchen). One night she brought a present to me in bed. I didn't know she had a gift for me and in my sleep, just automatically reached out to pet her and the mouse bit my finger!!! I was scared for ages afterwards that she would bring another gift to bed for me!!!! Thanks as always ladies for another fabulous video. Take care and happy stitching!
Hi, just watched your video. So glad to have you two as my friends. You brighten my lonely days every 2 weeks. When Laura showed the shepherd's bush design it reminded me what I did Saturday. I made shepherds pie for dinner. I called my son and invited him and family over for shepherd's bush!!!. He asked me if I was ok as I was hysterically laughing. Happy stitching.
One LAST a comment: Laura just had to show you what a small world this is . I have a very good friend who lives on the sound ( gorgeous!) in Bremerton and another dear friend who lives in Poulsbo. I have a friend who lives on the water in west Seattle ( Alcai ???) and family on Camano island and the list goes on. I love when you talk about your visits there :-)
You two are the BOMB! What a wonderful video; after three weeks, I was starved to see your stitching projects and now I feel like a glutton! I have a list of so may new things I want to stitch and my WIP count is certainly going up! Have a great two weeks!!
Such a great video! Oh, the mouse story. I could tell you a couple but won’t. I loved hearing more oh, say comments. I watched Colorado Stitching and loved hearing her talking about that. Love your stories, love your stitches. ⛄️⛄️🌲
Many years ago, we had a mouse. My cat cornered it and I ran over, not sure if the mouse would (foolishly) attack since it was cornered. And I saw a spot of blood on its shoulder and how terrified it was and it broke my heart. So I grabbed an empty veggie can from the trash, caught the mouse who was paralyzed with fear and took it with me to pick my husband up from work. I let him out in a grassy area near the building. What a great way to start the day. I always get a smile on my face when I see that you have a new video out.
I’m happy to see more people starting their linen dying business. I think it’s the most difficult part of cross stitch industry since the supplies are limited and the handy nature of the production process. Thank you for supporting new dyers
Hi ladies from England UK your both looking well I was laughing and stitching watching you guys today I needed cheering up thank you love to you both xxxxx 😍🥰😘
Brenda, when you mentioned the mouse at work that crawled up your leg, all I could think was if it were me, it would have been immediately drowned because I would have peed myself. Ladies, you are enablers, I wanted at least half of the patterns you showed. My family now has a list of ideas for gifting this year. Beautiful work!!
Oh say! That was so much fun to watch! And my favorite line was “operators standing by.” 😂You always entertain your viewers and are much loved by us all🤗Merry Christmas to you and your families.🎄
Thank you for another amazing, fun-filled and goody-packed episode! ♥🧵🪡 Thank you also for the helpful tips on how to make the switch to 40 ct, or in my case, linen in general! I finally purchased my first magnifier lamp, I've purchased several 32 & 36 ct linens, but so far have been too afraid to try it! Your tips are encouraging.
While watching your video at 8:00 pm on 12/04/22 (Sunday), I went to Hobby House to order Florence and it was sold out. I love your videos. The interaction between the 2 of you is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Ladies! Fun video, as usual. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season in the next couple of weeks and happy stitching til next time!! 🪡🧵🪡✂️✂️✂️🎄🎄🎄🎁🎁🎁💕💕💕
Lovely finishes Ladies! Thank you, as always, for the inspiration…I was looking up “Janet Scott” as soon as Brenda showed it. The Vicky Clayton silks look great! Hope Laura enjoys her Christmas stitching.
Y’all are a hoot and a half!! I so enjoyed the giggles and fun I had with your video today! So glad the Christmas Spirit has hit and stayed! Your projects are wonderful and your stash, fabulous! The mouse story gives me “the creeps” - we’ve had several mouse stories ourselves!! As has most everyone, I think!! I’m wanting to see a picture of that pink tree! You have some treasures from folks I didn’t know existed, and that’s always fun - and dangerous to the pocketbook!!! 🤣 Well, happy stitching and I’ll “see you” again in two weeks!
You all are so wonderful to spend your time spreading joy to us on a regular basis. I love all the floss tubes and like many below me in the comments or many above me I too watch the floss tube multiple times with many pauses to look up people or shops to add them to my list of suppliers. I do have to ask you Brenda - the Dolls and their girls pin cushion I am not aware of, could you clue me in? And I will pass on some fun information to you. The Twelve Days of Christmas are not days leading up to the 25th of December but the days from December 25 until the Epiphany when the Wisemen came to give their gifts to the baby Jesus. Also where we get the play the 12th night from Shakespeare. It starts on December 26th usually marked as the Feast of St. Stephen. The 12th day is the 6th of January when the Magi came to Bethlehem. This was considered the last day of the Christmas celebrations and when most children went back to school and when it was okay to take down the Holiday decorations. So, when most of us think Christmas is over on the 25th and are kind so sad to see it go, be thankful that you actually have 12 more days of feasting and merrymaking to get on with and enjoy the season that is Christmas in a little less stressful anxiety.
There are some really cute mice patterns out there but when they become real enough to touch me or my stuff...look out! You two sure have some great adventures and stories. I just love spending time with you. And thanks for all the enabling. Happy Stitching!
Thank you Robbie!!!!! My Mom and I will never stitch a mouse pattern (even if it is slightly cute!). I have to check with Brenda if she would stitch one.....
You both are such a delight! Love that Laura and her mom got together to look at her Christmas stash and “pet it”! Choking with laughter on that one yet, totally get it!
Brenda, so glad your stitching was not damaged by the mice. We've had mice in our cabin and they can be so destructive and dirty. Thank you for the video. Love watching you guys. Happy stitching!
Welcome back ladies. Really enjoyed spending time with you this evening. Your stitching is beautiful & all those charts have me reaching for my purse. There just isn't enough time to stitch everything. Trixie's fabric looks lovely, loved her explanations of the names. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
There just aren’t any words to convey how much I love you guys!! I could listen to you two every day!! I think we all have a mouse story or two. Growing up, a mama mouse had a bunch of babies in my dresser drawer. My sister, who is the world’s biggest softy (and I am not kidding!) begged me not to tell our mom! She was just heartbroken that Mom might kill them! Needless to say, we raised a litter of mice!! What were we thinking!!!!! Happy stitching, ladies!! ❤️
You two take the dreary out of a cloudy day and fill it full of sunshine. I loved this video. I saw lots of charts I need. I laughed. I gasped in horror at the mouse stories. You shared so much I will gladly watch this video later this week with a notebook and pen. Blessings to you both and take care.
I just finished watching #85. Such an enjoyable time. Brenda, I really hope you are successful "encouraging " Rick to get a dog. I have an 8 year old Cairn,Rowan. My two elder ladies died a year ago in the Spring. Next week Rowan and I are going to pick up our 10 week old puppy. It will be a joyous Christmas here.
That is so wonderful Penny!!!!!!!! This would be a big step for Brenda and Rick. After Bailee passed away she swore she was not getting another pet. So I am hoping that they can get a dog to love!
Wow! I had to pause you so many times to look up, sign up for, etc! You showed so many good things! I must get some of Jody’s linen! It looks stunning! I’m hepped up!!! I have 2 cats and had a major mouse infestation last year! We caught 9! So, I’m glad your little critter didn’t damage anything! Check your charts carefully to be sure they didn’t chew anything!
You are so entertaining and inspiring. Because of holiday and Christmas doings I might not get a chance to watch your next video within the couple of days of you posting it, but I will watch it eventually and it will be a treat, I am certain of it! Thanks so much.
Oh the two of you! Oh say! You’re the best. You make me laugh out loud. Your personalities are great together. Love watching you. Thanks for sharing all you make, get and your friendship. You make my day. Thanks for being so real even when it includes mice. I think we all have our pests stories. It is horrible when they invade our special places. Wait it’s horrible even if it isn’t our special places but worse when it’s the special spots in our house or up our legs. Happy stitching til next time!
Thank you Lorraine!!! December sure is full of feelings, both good and sad....just hang on to happy memories and do as many things that feel good as possible. I am finding that my Christmas stitching is getting me through....but any stitching in December would be fabulous. Hugs to you!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Thank you so much for your kind words, Brenda. It's definitely people like you that bring such joy to the world. And you're absolutely right, I have beautiful memories to enjoy and will do as many feel good things as possible.
It was so...I guess comforting in a way to hear you both talk about mice issues. Nice to know I'm not alone. I ABSOLUTELY HATE MICE!!! My family makes fun of me because I have sticky boards in more than one place & I regularly put out poison. I would rather smell a dead mouse than come across a live one. We are in a rural area with lots of trees around & so mice! BUT...your stitching show today was GREAT so thank you for that!!! Lots of notes.
Love ya ladies! Laura, you’ve gotten a lot done on Aline! She’s looking beautiful! Thank you both for the kind words about my designs, means the world to me. 💜💜
Best 2 lines of the whole floss tube. "is season three coming soon?". "I've no idea". 😂 This really did make me giggle. Thank you so much for your wonderful floss tubes.
OMG - the mouse story!! I have to tell you that I left a project at my office in my desk drawer once and the mouse ate some of the silk thread!!! It was a fully kitted project that I had just started and when I was going to work on it again one day I saw evidence of a mouse and some of the silk thread was gone about half way up the skein. Yuck - I had to throw that project away.😢
Always forward never back would be a good slogan to put in a sampler. Love that Peace on Earth Sampler by Samplers Not Forgotten.I may have to get that. Happy Stitching!
I just started watching, but I had to tell Brenda she wasn’t the only one in the world not at the Jingle Ball! I bought a ticket but then found out we were having our family Christmas on Saturday…and spent Friday night cooking and prepping for it. 🤗
As of today, I have watched ALL of your flosstubes! I love you ladies, and get so tickled by your back and forth discussion 😊 Brenda, although I’m a staunch UGA Bulldawg, I was inspired by you to watch the Wolverines take the title in Saturday’s game against Purdue. I have a feeling that we’ll be meeting up in the National Football Championship game after New Years. Go Dawgs, lol!
I love your videos! You are wonderful. I repeat all the time "I mean, seriously" or " Cool!", or "Say!", and I am italian 😂 I wonder what is my family thinking about my mumbling!
You guys are the best!!!!! Beautiful Prairie Schooler Santas Brenda! I need to be more diligent on mine. I thought of you Laura yesterday and Friday night at the Ball.... I did the shopping I wanted (oh be still my heart, Beth Twist and Teresa Kogut!!!) and I wanted to try getting into a stitching room.... but I'm dealing with the Covid Cough- every time I speak, I cough for 10 min straight :( Its making me crazy, didn't want to do that to the others! I'm glad you had a great time with your momma
I totally agree with you Deborah!!!! Brenda's stitching is simply gorgeous!!!!
Red cedar fabric with white thread - do an MFE. Brenda - when I was young we had a Heinz 57 dog who was a really good mouser - his name was Pootzie.
Happy holidays! May we all stay healthy and find the time to stitch! Looking forward to a peaceful holiday! Love to you both❤️
Merry Christmas Angel!!!!!
My mom and grandmother used to say ‘they’. Like “They, that’s the sweetest baby!” Lolol
You two are the best. A mouse running up my leg!! That sent me over the edge. This floss tube took me HOURS to watch. I had to stop so many times and shop. You are enablers.

I love the La-D-Da green Santa chart, everytime Laura shows it I go looking for the chart. I found it today, I purchased it. No longer envious.
I open all of it the day I got it. Did the same thing with the patch work Rabbit. I did the same thing when I was a kid. I also loved everything.
I could not script your banter that well. I have not laughed out loud so much during a floss tube! Keep the videos coming!
AWwwwww!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
Thanks for sharing! Oh say.... Love you both! We were camping years ago in a tent and hubby woke up to a mouse on his face. 😂 ahh the memories
That is lovely and horrifying all at the same time Joyce!!!!!!

Another fabulous flosstube! Merry Christmas to you. 🎄💚🍂
Merry Christmas Meredith!!!
Thank you so much for those lovely words!!!
Always an enjoyable watch. You really are an inspiration. A big thank you!
Nicola ALWAYS looks amazing!! You to are adorable and inviting. I love it.
Thank you so much Sue!!!
I’m with Laura on the mouse! Thanks again for the lovely video.❤
Thank you Karen!
Beautiful stitching! Congratulations, Brenda, for how well MI is doing although the Buckeyes loss was painful. There's always next year. GO BUCKS!
Thank you Rita!!!!!!!! Hope everything is going well with your new place!!
Oh sayyyyy, it was great to see you again - thanks for a fun time watching you both.
Thank you Linda!!!!
Thank you Carol!!!
You are so entertaining and inspiring. Because of holiday and Christmas doings I might not get a chance to watch your next video within the couple of days of you posting it, but I will watch it eventually and it will be a treat, I am certain of it! Thanks so much.
Thank you so much Emily!!!!! Merry Christmas!
Beautiful chart day for sure! Happy stitching!
Thank you Patsy!!!
So glad you are back. You ladies look wonderful and now my Sunday afternoon stitching is so much more fun since I can do it with you!
Thank you Sally!!!!
Thank you so much Mary Ellen!!!!!!
Your video was great! Thank you for taking the time to share!
I enjoyed everything in this video so much, loved it! December is tough month and you've just made it immensely better. Thank you so much!
Thank you Lois! You know we like to keep it real....and yes, mice are so scary!!!
I have an Etsy shop with hand dyed linen and floss, but I MUST have some of that green linen. Love the red as well.
Thanks ladies....fabulous as always
You both were very enabling today. I think I stopped the video 4 x and went shopping. Like I really need more goodies! Beautiful stitching as usual
Thank you Linda!!!!! We all need at least one new goody in December!
It’s always a great start to the week when I see you have a new video up!! Merry Christmas!! And lots of love from alabama!
Thank you Janice!!! Sending love back to you from Illinois!
Love ya ladies! Laura, you’ve gotten a lot done on Aline! She’s looking beautiful! Thank you both for the kind words about my designs, means the world to me. 💜💜
Thank you Becca for your wonderful friendship and beautiful stitching designs!!!!
Oh my goodness, so many lovely things to see! We need more TIME so we can stitch it all!!
Thank you Delnora!!!!!! Yes please to more time!
Best 2 lines of the whole floss tube. "is season three coming soon?". "I've no idea". 😂 This really did make me giggle. Thank you so much for your wonderful floss tubes.
It is so fun teasing Brenda about Baby Yoda....I cannot help myself. She is a very good sport.
Brenda. Thrilled for you that Michigan did so well this year. I am a big Bama fan, but it just wasn’t our year! Go Blue!!
Thank you so much Martha!!!
Oh bummer Toni!!! But I bet you had a wonderful family Christmas. I hope that you got to at least look at the shopping!
I love that!!! Pick a wip!!! That’s what I want to do next year but I couldn’t think of what to call it!!! Yay now I’m set!!!
Congratulations! Elizabeth Hunt is amazing. Your stitching is wonderful.
Elizebeth is just beautiful amazing work!!
Your finish is wonderful!! I'm doing the basket for the blessing sampler. After seeing yours, I'm going to at least start that as well!!
Thank you for all that watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your videos! You are wonderful. I repeat all the time "I mean, seriously" or " Cool!", or "Say!", and I am italian 😂 I wonder what is my family thinking about my mumbling!
That is so cool Paola!!!!! Thank you!
Oh Brenda! I ordered all of my Colorado Cross Stitcher box too … too funny.
Just to let you know. I was in my duckie jammies last Saturday!. And I am doing my Florence on Regency.😉
Great stitching ladies. We're pretty pumped about KSU winning the big 12. Awesome game and nail biter. It's all a great time
You guys are the best!!!!!
I hope you are feeling better by now Christine!!!!
