Ramatra is still thematically the coolest tank. He’s actually the raid boss of the lore, and probably would’ve been a dope ass final boss of the Overwatch story mode, if it actually existed

@@dominickjadon Ramattra is frankly not comparable to Doomfist and his skyscraper leveling gauntlet, and Mauga supposedly stalemated Doom
If the PvE missions ever get that far, he likely still will be the final boss.
I could see Doomfist, Ramattra, Mauga, Reaper, and Moira all being final boss types if you were to take a completed story mode and split it up into parts
Doesn’t matter if people play him or not anymore, I still think he’s a badass character and has the best lore in the game 🤷🏽♂️.

Ram is honestly disgusting and underrated. He's definitely not OP but he has great poke, cc, and peel potential. If you're getting constantly exploded he's a great pick due to all the armor, damage reduction during block, and utility. If everyone on the enemy team is standing in the choke he's actually a great brawl buster as his space commands respect or he'll just demolish your backline. Blizz please don't nerf

@@shoya420yep. He also has really decent counterplay, sure his ult can be annoying but it can be shut down if you play LOS, use barriers, or burst down the Ramattra if you can.

On another note I desperately pray for a future where Mei is a tank. She shouldn't be in her DPS role, holy christ.
She has everything a tank needs too, a barrier/obstacle to block enemies and los, self sustain with her ice block, a strong cc in her ultimate, hell she has good poke with her icicles. Wont even have to change much besides hp and hitboxes

yeah i play her as an off tank and usually mitigate more dmg than my actual tank, we need 6v6
Ice wall has great potential to peel for teammates or give your team the time to recoup, Ice block gives self sustain and can be used as an object teammates can hide behind for quick cover, her ultimate is a CC zoning freeze that forces space or takes it from enemies. . . Yet they chose the man who has a giant ass fist to be the newest tank in the roster?? She's already almost like a juggernaut with how hard she is to kill when she's properly supported, and the way it is now she's almost like having a second tank on any team, why can't they just rework her to fit with tank? (Although I don't know how they'd make hitboxes fair since for tank standards she is very small).
I played Open Queue and played Mei, my whole team refused to tank, and I diffed A Mauga and Hog while using her. I was literally a better tank act keeping my team alive than both of them combined alongside the help of my supports, I just fail to see why they don't change her lmao.

Wow, Lucio really makes ramattra shine
Ramattra is what drew me into OV2, and ever since I unlocked him, I've been enjoying this character non-stop. I love his lore, his voice, the way he just feels whenever he's doing moves, I love it. Ramattra is by far my favorite OV2 character, and will remain in that status no matter what.
As a WoW player, I can confirm that the sparkle pony is more interesting then the entirety of Wings of Liberty that includes the Infested scientist.
Seeing Pirate Software in a Flats video was weird, but really cool. I love PSW.
Btw can I just take a moment to appreciate Flats music choice in most of these videos
The Genius Sonority Pokemon games (Colosseum, XD, and Battle Revolution) had some BALLER MUSIC just in general, not just Pokemon games
you usually don't want to use shield and vortex together when poking because both are good at denying space yet long CD
Even though I only played tanks and it sucks now I played ramattra for the first time this season and he was really fun! His kit is great and I got play of the game lol. His ult is really scary but one of the best ones.

Would love to play rammatra in ranked, but u can't against mauga , he's forced to block at all times, even in his ult he spends the whole timer blocking , or and if he let's go, he blows up ,and if his team can't do their job, he blows up

Dont forget sparkly horse was also the first mount wirh dynamic mount speed, meaning 😅could be used by any of your characters. This was bound to inflate the nubmers. I do find it odd that sc2 made that little, considering how popular it was and how hyped it was before releasing
I'm sure it's a cost to produce thing, the mount was a lot cheaper than all of WoL to produce. That's my guess anyways, hope you have a good day/new year.

I dont care about meta or what people say, ram is my favorite hero. I started playing at the last 20 days of s7 and i mean ram since i unlocked it, its hard to face some combos (specifically mauga) but i manage and i like the challenge and i just wanna say : i don't fight for my self, i never have, my team comes first.

The only psychotic Ramattra buff I want is for his Slow to mute movement abilities. So no Reaper TP/Ghost, Moira Fade, Genji Dash or Doom Rocket Punch to escape.
Does flashpoint have different point markers on console? In my games it’s three boxes on the left and right side of the respective percentages, I notice here it’s a counter? Or is this a difference between ranked and unranked?

I play Ram all the time! He's only the Tank that I seem to get fewer deaths on. Tank is so incredibly hard to play these days, as support legit makes my life hell.

Yep. Ana needs changes. Same with how discord was/is unhealthy for a single tank. Being able to flatly deny healing is fucking busted when you only have 1 tank to look at. Same with kiri. She needs changes too. The power creep just hit critical mass quite a few seasons ago and weve continued charging the train straight off the cliff
@@themanageriguess I agree! I'm actually a support main and love playing Ana... But when I'm on tank (I used to be a tank main in OW1) you really understand how much of a nerf she needs. Being a tank against her, is literally stress inducing! lol. Sometimes it's impossible to get anywhere in games, and I have DPS up my ass telling me to do better, and I'm I like, I wish I could do something but I can't!!! lol. I really miss 6v6 sometimes, just because some of the tanks are still not adjusted enough to be really tank alone in games, and still very much an off tank. Support are really OP now because of the one tank.

I've had a Ramattra in almost every other game I've played last couple days. D1 players must love him lol
especially with Mauga being hard meta and being a terrible matchup for Ramattra, it feels like every game I get I can't do my job as tank while playing Ramattra, I'm always just sitting back waiting for bastion turret mode, discord LOS to be gone, ana to use sleep dart and nade, and I always get paired with a lucio mercy. It just feels like there's no point in playing him when evreyone clicks on the bastion guy or mei the zeptosecond they die to me in qp when i just wanna play my character and have fun

I play him all the time, lol. But with Mauga in his current state why would I play Ram over Sig? Only time I actually get to play Ram is when they're not running Mauga (so basically never).

Thor (guy in the video), makes clames some times that are ill-informed. The Celestial Steed mount was $25 USD not $15. and yes $10USD for millions of transactions is a big difference. There was a 140,000 queue at one stage to buy the mount which was about $3.5M worth of sales alone. Starcraft has still made over $1B as a franchise since Wings of Libertity in 2010

Though I don't play a lot of Ramattra, I have a lot of respect for the people who do, and I think he's one of the most fun and dynamic characters they've added thus far.

litteraly started the game a week ago and kinda play only Ramattra
Ram is my go to for poking and basically play into Rein or Sigma. I love to play him, but I just still think Block is a useless ability and needs to be tweaked or redone. It is only used when you're trying not to be exploded on, and it provides little benefit to the team as a whole. It basically wastes precious time on your transform and if they don't want to remove it, can we get it to provide some benefit like DF block. Either refund some of your time you spend transformed, because blocking is a waste of transformation, or empower the next ability.
For example, if you block X amount of damage with it, you could see his punches empowered the next 4 seconds or something OR his Vortex ability will have a larger AOE both in width and height so you can finally take down the Phara in the sky maybe.... on top of that maybe it adds 4 seconds back to transformation, or there's a damage proportion to seconds like 10% damage is converted to seconds. Something that rewards using it, because I feel penalized when I turn big sometimes, as if I'm just trying to survive, not become a menace.

I usually play dps and support. I played one rank match of tank yesterday cus I wanted to play some Ram, enemy tank was playing Dva and as soon as they lost first fight they switched to Mauga. What could've been a fun game turned into a shitshow as soon as I switched to Mauga too (we won)
I do, he’s fun, only problem is I don’t have him unlocked, and I’m dealing with like 2-3 dva’s every match in no limits. Can’t wait when battle pass heroes are unlocked for free in the future.

Ram is my favorite tank, although I don't play tank as much as I used to due to this explodey meta.
If i'm being honest, i genuinely cried after losing 13 games and only 1 win, mostly because the enemy tank, kept counter-swapping to hog and i cannot stand it any more. They don't know how to balance their characters and I'm trying my absolute hardest as a true dedicated Ramattra main. Even with the buffs it's still hard as hell and I'm not even talking about Mauga. My only issues is Hog's healing output and the pig pen that really piss me off so much to a point where i ACTUALLY cried because of that. And my girlfriend (who also plays OW2) understands my pain and i truly know what it's like to suffer as he did😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 at this point, I'm at my lowest and i feel like quitting

Ramattra is my favorite tank to play as. But the way people act now is nightmarish. Tanks are now somehow squishier than dps if they're not pocketed constantly

teams have space for only one tank, and since mauga wad the weakest tank, so weak they had to buff so much that it's now broken as hell, that team space is now reserved for him alone.

Maybe we should be calling it macrotransactions. An OW skin in Brazil can reach up to 150 reais, wich is about 10,5% of minimum wage. Imagine Making 1440 reais a month and paying 150 on a skin. Bare in mind that AAA games here goes for 250-300 on lauch.
I started playing it about a month and a half ago, spent 54 reais on the battle pass and 3 more for "hero pack" just for the skin and that's it.
As a (im so sorry) mauga main I jump with joy on the rare occasion I see a ramattra because I already know its about to be the freest game of my life.
Man ive been waiting so many years for ow to add a tank that just basically felt like bastion as a tank and it finally happened and I couldnt be happier ive played nothing but mauga since he released idc if he gets nerfed into oblivion ill never stop playing him

The balance team does not know how to nerf until they break the character
He's feels better than he did and will definitely be meta but he isn't broken you'll still be able to play other characters against him. So I don't think he'll get nerfed

They balance primarily by winrate and imo hog keeps him in check in all metal ranks so idk if they nerf him along with mauga it should be slight
