‘From everything I’ve seen. That’s what I’ve seen’
-Emongg
😂
100% a dps problem. You can tell when a tank is just bad overall, this was not one of those tanks. The dps played out of position too many times, brought no value during a few team fights, and overused ults. That duo is probably stuck in that rank because of their play style.
I got a "our tank threw" comment just yesterday from a Soldier who spent the whole game running straight up mid and dying. Some DPS think the tank is supposed to be this magical body guard that saves them from even the worst positioning.
Yea some people argue and they are wrong to begin with. 😂
Yup they will be like “why are you “so” far back the payload is right here” when they just don’t understand about controlling the map
my favorite is when the soldier has more deaths than anyone else on the team, despite having a self-heal, and blames everyone else
ppl in metal ranks expect the tank to be a bullet magnet
Why is it always the person that feeds the most that throws the most shade
this vid is so well timed i just had a game where our tank was complaining about not getting healed even though he was always going in 1v5 and our supports doesn't have LoS on him so he just stood on top of the cart for the whole duration of our attack and we rolled the enemy team lol
Was he a rein?
Ya I had a game yesterday with a rein genji that kept los’ing heals and just constantly blaming it on me because I won’t nano feeding players. Hanzo was getting lucky headshots on everyone but somehow I’m at fault because I’m always dead (I had 5 deaths) overwatch has just become a blame game 😭 tank switched ball and just kept throwing himself off the map throwing a tantrum
@@TheTrevler nope he was a mauga that was pretending to be a torb turret on the second half
Was he as accurate as a torberret?@@adashinoyukino3202
@@adashinoyukino3202well in fairness only way I'd push that is as genji, Lucio or Kiri for fear of spontaneously combusting. He's a very scary torb turret
From my seven years of playing this game, majority of toxic players have been dps players.. especially in diamond/masters when they have inflated egos
It’s like that in silver and gold 🤣
I've seen people from all roles complain. I think it is just human nature in general to blame others and not see the mistakes they make.
@@JoseMendoza-dl4hg Generally speaking, supports tend to complain less or less in a less toxic manner when they do.
I got invited to play some games with someone on my friends list that I had probably added years ago. A Rein main of all things, god bless.
Watching this dude go from alright to straight up depressed cause our LW said he was throwing when I’d played enough games with him to know he was very good was… sad. Poor guy. Tanks need a second tank just for solidarity at this point.
Diffusion of responsibility is the term for when everybody assumes somebody else was gonna do it. That's why nobody volunteers to answer the questions in class, and nobody calls the police during a public emergency. They just scream "call the police" instead of just calling the police
This is my main gripe with playing tank. No matter what happens in a game, the tank always gets blamed. It’s exhausting. Show some respect to your tanks people. We’re a dying breed.
As someone who plays Tank and Support a lot, both are often the ones blamed. And DPS are the one doing it, even when they are the ones feeding.
@ordinarylittlebastard3248 on console at least it feels like dps diff is the most common occurrence. Tank diff in my games is rare.
@@ubadman1I play on console too. In my Plat lobbies I have come across multiple tanks who do throw. One example was a Doomfist who was just goofing around. Literally just wave hello and stuff. It happens
On console I see a lot of support blame, and it's often for something dumb. Usually in that case it's usually the people that can't hit a single shot and end up dead etc. (This sometimes also applies to tank)
Fr had one last night, was a mauga, reaper, bastion, zenyatta. There was nothing I could do or supports to keep me alive. Dps could not get a pick before i fell over. Dps was 0-5 and 1-7 and they slammed the bot in with 3 minutes left. And I'm getting told I suck
Dont they dare to blame my dad Ramattra!
I would like to see you do a couple of Top 500 spectates. Flats on Rein, KarQ Ana, yourself on D VA. It would be good to watch the “better” plays, while also still showing how much you can still learn from reviewing your own games.
I had an actual thrower, my ball went afk half the game typing, then just went fully afk the last round because he "wasnt getting healed enough".
He was playing ball into hog, sombra, mercy, soldier.
At that point you tell them that they're getting hard countered and need to switch
Literally played a QP today where a hog died once, asked «am i gonna get no heals?» and one of our dps said «no» and he replied «ok» and then literally just ran around spawn the rest of the match. Like he didnt even leave even tho it was QP. Like I was trying to heal him, I just didnt have LOS when he died and that warented him doing nothing for the rest of the match. I even tried telling him that and ppl were roasting him in chat, but he never replied again.
"Spam the dorito" lol!
3 on kart at the end instead of 2 and it was a win
As a ramatra, your first and second game of the day is rough. So maybe it was just their first or second game of the day.
I've seen Tanks that threw, that's not a tank that threw. DPS thought they were the main character.
13:01 always expect that no one else is gonna do it 😂
I got accused of throwing once because I kept getting melted by Zen and Bastion, so I had to play poke on Sig... meanwhile my team kept loosing the 1v4 to the enemy Tracer. Mind you, I did turn around and rock Tracer... Widow and Cass just had that bad of aim.
This is pretty much the Ramattra Experience 😂 flamed for everything, destroyed by Ana and remember, the hero is strong right now….
i love how emongg doesnt blame the person who sent the vod for not swapping, he says who would be better on that map/comp.
and i feel its always better to play what you feel comfortable than a hero you dont play often/dont know how to.
If only they had pushed cart earlier in the round, they would have won the game with that last 2 meters
That was a pretty good first round. If my dps is flaming me after that round then I am muting them
I had a d-va main blame me for not healing them when they would solo charge as though they were a rein player. meanwhile, I would get bodied tping in, suzuing them and healing them back to full health every time, because if I didn't he would threaten to report me and the other healer. I was so pissed, because usually, during a game, I can mult-task healing the entire team to full hp, and picking off one or two enemies from an off angle. but that d-va literally was playing like they were a bronze rein, who switched to d-va for no reason. and that was during my last game needed to reach silver 1, before I kept being put into lobbies with similar players, and got deranked to silver 4. which honestly made me not want to play no rolls comp anymore.
usually, when I play kiriko, i end with around 2 elims, 26 assists, 4 deaths. and around 3k damage, 4k healing. that game i had around 1 elim, 30 assits, 12 deaths, 6k damage, and 8k healing. and the tank was screaming that I never healed them.
All i want is for my tanks to know WHEN TO PULL TF OUT, cuz were not paying fkn child support istg
To be fair is much more fun to defend the last point being agressive than holding the choke
How much do you want to bet it was the soldier complaining, rather than the reaper? The throwing soldier was simply projecting his inadequacy and lack of understanding of the game/map.
As a Ram main that skin is crazy, but not bad, throw ya vortexes at anyone out of position
3 on cart would've won them that fight. That Rem player had NO REASON to not be on the cart on the last push to get 3 on cart
this was a good Suprise, friend is kiriko on enemy team so had to text him as soon as video started lol
Emong has around 50 days spent on the cart.
most people feell they have played a game alot at 1200 hours emongg has spent that time on cart lol
Yeah, none of this is throwing. I play ram too, not completely dissimilar to this guy. I almost never do nemesis unless im super confident in the play. I think people think nemesis form is beefier than it is, health evaporates especially if theres a bastion in play.
Now all I can think about is "Cooler Ranch" Rammattra.
Great video. So good to see your insights on games in retrospect!
I watch mostly his clips, but I started watching his videos and let me tell you, his green screens are the funniest thing. Quality is 💯
Idgaf who that dps player is, if you are going reaper, your team is getting slammed by a bastion and you are STILL refusing to at least attempt to kill him, you are the problem.
im just after the first team fight so im only commenting on that, but the amount of times i have had to ask dps to play behind me when theyre playing characters that Should be behind me and the shield/protection i provide is actually insane
Yeah, Ive noticed people will always blame others for their bad positioning. Funny when I play life weaver and get them into a better spot in the middle of a battle, suddenly they're are like "wow im so good!" People are just more focused on themselves than anything. Don't get me wrong, ego is extremely important. But this is just straight up blindness
Name's Spoomples. A true man of culture.
I know map control is important, but I like sticking with the cart. Free mobile cover 😂
The biggest mistake this person did was letting the dps getting in their head
I thought someone was going to leave the cart on that final push
Had a diamonds comp game the other night. My bap and ana wouldn't do damage. Bap had 800 damage by the end of the game, ana had 400. I know stats don't tell the full story. But it wasn't until i went Rein and held up my shield on the highground and seen that my bap literally was looking at everyones feet and spamming gernades. I pretended to start fighting someone. And it took around 12 seconds of me standing completely still. Didn't take any damages the whole time. For them to stop and look up. I watched their pov, and I haven't seen someone overheal like that since console bronze. We lost in push by 2 meters. I was duos with one of my dps. But the other dps said, "trash tank
tank diff"
Like... I started the match playing hog into
Mauga (switches to orisa)
Junkrat (switches to sombra)
Mei
Zen
Ana
And i think i was holding my own pretty well. The entire enemy team just wouldnt stop shotting me. But i still made plays and got kills. The game wasn't a stomp surprisingly.
I usually dont care what people think or say. But that particularly got under my skin. I don't think i did anything wrong, but you can't just look at 2 heal boting players and think that they're not doing anything inefficient or not contributing as much as they should.
I don't need a double pocket on hog. Especially when I'm playing kinda pokie and trapping hooked squishies. I need teammates that'll take high ground. Distract and provide pressure.
Do you think a more fleshed out tutorial that aptly explains the roles of the tanks could really help reduce a ton of the toxicity in the metal ranks?
My biggest piece of advice to you or anyone for that matter when your team flames you is two simple words, "FUCK 'EM." Repeat this to yourself every time it happens and if it annoys or bothers you eitherer block them or squelch their chat.
Everybody in your comp games is roughly the same rank as you, and the simple fact is nobody can play win every game and nobody fosure can ever play perfectly 100% of the time in and throughout an entire game. Just do your best and keep learning.
Only thing this Ramattra's throwing is hands. I think I've learned a thing or two about how to play Ram
ALRIGHT SO!!
Honestly it looks like their DPS are just aweful. I haven't seen the enemies even get that low other than what ramatra is doing most the time. Just seems like half the time they are just failing when they have a shield and enemy ram is front lined in open space
Never not reloading.
OW is a team game and its possible to win down a player so an L is never one persons fault, even if it is one persons fault the game is still winable
Had a Moria blame me for not doing good bc I kept blowing up as tank even though I didn’t play in the wide open and played same
I had a guy a week ago scream at me over voice because he said I was holding S key the entire game on Tank. This feels like the same situation, just some ego damage player who doesn’t know how to play around a tank.
For me when it comes to pushing cart it depends on who I play rammatra I’ll go ahead to try and clear a way, reaper I’ll hang back with cart but push when I need to, sombra I’ll go ahead and hack health packs and only go back when it’s not a team fight. And zen and Moira nah I’m on Cart the whole time you want heals you come to me
@emongg can you or someone in the comments explain how I can submit a clip from console. I’ve played since ow1 but casual 98% of the time. I played a ranked game the other day and a guy called me a Smurf plat tank on console , if that’s a real rank😂 I wanna see if I can get some advice on my tank play style
pretty sure there's a section for submissions in his discord
@@itsiranaa oh bet, downloading discord now
What could be a reason to get in voice channel? Ask for someone to push the cart XD and get cursed 28 times for just breathing
I got a person saying to report me because I went the wrong way to the point and that I was throwing. But yet I had the most kills most damage then the the person accusing me of throwing. Nobody reported me though.
why does he reload so much
Yeah I noticed that as well, mostly because I do it too 😅
Ngl if the Ram had a bit better target priority and used their Vortex more could have easily carried the game sadly They didn't and the Soldier/Cass were trolling, a bit 😂
In a gold game I went through the same but my dps was weak.
I went 9n to 2 level higher then them lol
Do you think having a third person on cart would have made it in time?
Definitely
I love cart as ranged characters. Let me stay here use it as cover and passively heal and move it. I’m cool with this. I’ll let people know if I’m being harassed
Saying this guy is throwing is just crazy af. Of course, he makes mistakes, but so do his teammates.
me... I'm the tank with 0:03 objective time per game
Ah this video highlights why i stopped playing tank :/
In the mind of a dps, it is always the tank or supports that are wrong. Never the dps
In metal ranks it's ALWAYS the dps who are bad. ALWAYS!
Nah support is the worst in every rank except maybe bronze-silver
First of all, this guy this guy needs to stop reloading at %50 so much.
Is it sad when tanks tend to carry a team?
I think he carried them but I noticed that he’s trying to do what they say,, just mute them and continue playing
Specially when you’re better than your team,if you not better just listen to your team
Low rank damage players just want the tank and supports to make them immortal instead of making smarter decisions they'll take more of their team's resources to be kept alive or just pointlessly die
I love how dps players love to blame tank and support when in reality it’s their own faults.
They lost because 3 people were not on cart
It's just a shame we'll never know if the complaining dps will ever see this.
Until diamond dps players are generally hot garbage, so as a tank main in metals, I'd play with that in the back of your mind. Keeps you sane, especially on dive.
Every time something like this happens its always tank or support getting blamed, never dps
I’m just two fights in, but on both points he GAVE them half the map. He played so far back that they were able to push the cart so they had prime position AND only needed one fight to cap. Of course the DPS will get anxious and out of position. This tank needs to swap to support. He doesn’t have tank in him.
you sound like a dps player who is constantly out of position and then flames the tank and supports even though it's on you

My last 2 days of ranked have been pissed poor. I will always agree with you about my mistakes but as soon you you offer advice they instantly think IMMA TROLL INSTEAD of taking so called said advice. Problem with Overwatch players?? Their damn pride is to damn high. Always the teams fault never your fault am I right? Losing rank to prove a point? ohhhhhh you got me >__>. I get it that personal plays really determines your own skill to climb ranks but HOW DO YOU CONTROL people who leave or throw almost 80% of matches because they have the mentality of a child... This Ram is the type pf players I wish would just l;eave the game ..... If it pisses you off so bad why play the game or comp for that matter. Get out of my lobby so people who actually want to try and succeed can actually get in.
Hold on. This Ram is the type of players you wish would just leave the game? I think you've got it confused. It was the Soldier blaming the team. Did you watch the video?
"people think I'm a troll I don't get why" "people who get upset about their DPS yelling to report them should quit the game" gee blud I wonder why people think you're a jerk.
Let me guess, you're the cass who got rolled first team fight. Welcome buddy.
