There was a lot of energy at this show! It was great!! Kudos for capturing it in it entirety! Brian, Lee and Jim have their own solo acts. There’s no imitation going on here if you know all of these musicians that all play amongst each other. Of course there is nothing compared to the Cats when they play together but when they are off doing their solo gigs, they play their old songs and it won’t sound the same. It’s not fair to criticize a highly talented artist with their own style playing a classic with any of the original members. Brian brought the tempo down on this tour and I thought it was a good call. It sounded amazing! A recorded video will never amount to being there live. Give all those Cats kudos for still performing, sharing and keeping their music alive! And those Cats are going to tour this summer! I’m sure we will have dates very soon!

I’m not criticizing, everyone can be sick and have an off night. He certainly has had many more nights on than off during his career. Brians guitar doesn’t sound as ballsy as usual. I wonder if this venue is one of those places that has a very strict ceiling on the volume level the band can play at? I’m sure it still sounded great in person.
Helped the roadies with the stray cats gear back in 1980 in Brighton England, the top rank suite . Got in free . Brian couldn’t wait as he’d been waiting ages to play rumble in Brighton there .
Compared to the early days of the cats . Kiss looks low energy . Those early days of the cat’s !!!!! Crazy !!! But at least there’s musicians still playing this !!! Battle on !!
Pretty pathetic that he’s got a drummer literally pretending to be Slim Jim and a bassist who’s definitely not Rocker. Setzer is a phenomenal guitar player but has always been a ‘poser’... absolutely no energy left at all... he almost looks a bit lost. Saw Slim Jim with Darrell Higham a year or so ago and they were fantastic... good energy and passion for what they were doing. Setzer should go back touring with the Cats properly, or do something different, rather than having 2 poor imitations of the originals next to him.
must not be famillar with Rockabilly or Psychobilly. . You know Jim and Lee's name bet thats bout it. Many stand up drummers in the genre and i guess all Upright bass players are as lame as Lee Rocker. Lol.

Well aware of other stand up drummers and quality bass players, not sure how that’s remotely relevant to what I was saying? But, my point is that Setzer is trying to recreate the Stray Cats look/vibe, with basically 2 ‘tribute’ acts next to him, rather than the real thing. Would the Rolling Stones have somebody dress up as Keef and pose around on stage like him...? Clearly not. Hence why I’m saying this is a bit poor from Setzer. No need to be so protective and up-tight is there sweet cheeks 😊

Was there, and eventually moved right up front (feet from the stage). It sounded very clear and loud, and that was off the amps alone.
