Hey @megasim did you know you can travel to Glasgow Queen street on the Fife circle. I Done it last night rivet forgot to delete all the track from linlithgow lol. Took me a good while to get there because of the red signals should try it out.
Looked OK, but a few wrong things with the train, and a lot of wrong with the route, and scenery.
Did this route for over thirteen years when I worked in Edinburgh, Edinburgh gateway is newish, only opened in 2016 the train had to sop at SouthGyle before, now SouthGyle is not stopped at by every train. Doing the Dunfermline route, the trains would do Rosyth, Inverkeithing, North Queensferry, Dalmeny.
Great stream 170 detailed well but no diesel fumes. Or diesel clag when put revs up. We have this on other diesel trains. Sorry game breaker for me I hope fix it.
Wow the compromising going on is off the scale. I know let’s give Rivet money because it’s the end of the financial year. I might ask work to give me a raise because you know, I need one.
Little wonder these releases are a constant mixed bag not helped by ‘ambassadors’ who want to keep their freebies. Unsubbed.
@@Beavis0202 to promote content. Look at all the people on twitch and other platforms who receive games for free to stream them. There's nothing wrong with ambassadors
I got goblin the day it released for Xbox. I’m not going to get this one on release day because I will be leaving for California on Wednesday. I may get the route around the middle of April.
I’ll be getting it tomorrow, sure there is a lot that still needs to be done for the route, but through time they will probably fix things with it. I will say this it would be cool if they could join up the Glasgow to Edinburgh with fife circle and do one big dlc. Like southern hightspeed.
If you think that there are things they need to fix you should probably just wait for that to happen (if at all) and then pick it up on a sale
When people like you exist no wonder Rivet constantly release unfinished routes full of bugs and missing features.
@@Colt-bd2mv Well unfortunately its not just Rivet who release unfinished stuff, but there is other developers out there who do the exact same. Plus also Rivet is made up of a small team of people.
@@the_stuart115said small group are also local to the line, which is quite funny when you look at how some of the scenery is borderline fictional / low quality 😂
@@the_stuart115 Skyhook fixed their route. Rivet have released multiple routes unfinished with bugs. And promised to fix them. Never did. If you buy this just know they aren’t fixing it. They have never gone back to fix their releases.

Do you need to press anything for the auto announcer like on Glasgow to Edinburgh or does it do it automatically 🙂? As this is a Scottish route I suspect I will get this especially if the reviews are promising.

One thing that really bugs me is that the class 170 seems to be following the speed limit for the HST

@@MegaSim Is it? I would've thought the 170 followed the speed limits that aren't for the HSTs
@@AScottishTrainFan round there the “HST” speeds are not 125mph, and within the 170/158 speeds. You either do the top of the 2 speeds or HST.
The bottom speed is usually freight 👍🏻
@MegaSim interesting thank you for telling me. I should really know this already as I do live on the highland mainline but oh well I do now.

@@LynseyMcKee-dd7wgI can guarantee you that it doesn’t take much local knowledge to realise that rivet really need to get improving their scenery and fast.
@@LynseyMcKee-dd7wg Yes it does, I have travelled this route for over thirteen years, working in Edinburgh, there are a fair few things wrong, the train needs work, and where is the diesel smoke? the correct stickers on the train doors.
Even though things need to be fixed on this route I'm still buying it
Rivet’s history tells us they won’t fix them. So good luck wasting your money.

Select minimal hud. I think it's in the accessibility menu or something
