Make no mistake, Jack Lowden is sensationally good as Siegried Sassoon in Terence Davies wonderful film. This is a landmark multi-layered performance from Mr Lowden as arresting as his breakout Oliver award winning role in Ghosts at London's Almeida theatre some years ago.
Can't wait to see Slow Horses. Loved the books and thought Lowden was great in War and Peace, Dunkirk and The Tunnel. And, well... Gary Oldman. N'uff said.

Yes! The Tunnel was when i first saw him and loved him. I wish he got to use his own accent in more movies though.
