    What a great explanation of Mars in Aquarius! I have Mars in Aquarius in the 3rd opposite Uranus in the 9th. It's shown up in many ways in my life. I'm the daughter of an astrologer, who chose to also follow that path, and so have lived, in many ways, as an outsider all of my life. I'm also autistic, and despite having a high IQ, I found school hard going and quite boring in many ways. I've been told all of my life that my voice is rather expressionless, and that despite having a really kind heart, Venus, Moon and Mercury in Pisces, that I come across as distant, stern and a bit humorless. I've spent my life working in animal rights and farm animal rescue, which I went on to do as a paying job with a very Saturnine structure. Astrology has helped me greatly in feeling at ease with my rebellious nature. I am so psyched about starting your year 1 course in June and deepening my knowledge of ancient astrology! Thank you for another great video!

    When I was born Mars was in Aquarius and this is the only planet in my chart that is below the horizon (3rd house) so it has been an important character in my life to pay attention to and learn from. For me I've been told all my life that I'm "too much". When the Mars in me gets triggered the urge to want to wield a comic-book style flaming broadsword can rise up in me big time! ;-) Fighting for a "cause" is such a strong pull yet I've learned it usually does not serve a positive outcome to unleash that energy in it's raw form. For me, I was always drawn to cool, scientific type men as partners.... Mr. Spock was a hero to me. Electrical engineers, Physicists, and poets.... all make the Mars-in-me very happy. So do models of the Sacred Male archetype. Wisdom-keeper. Hermit-types. Merlin. Seekers of Mastery. Japanese sword-form Martial arts. And Rumi.... one of my absolute favourite Mars-in-Aquarius types. No idea if he was born with that configuration but for me, his life and his work speak so eloquently to the Mars in me: outcast, outsider finding a way to speak his truth - across time and with such Beauty - ultimately always in the service of love (to The Divine and the Divinity in the Other) - but so misunderstood and rejected by most of what was considered "normal" or "acceptable" by the collective. Yet that clear, visionary voice/message rings like a temple bowl in a mystical inner sanctuary... and wakes the listener/seeker up.

      Mars in Aquarius in the 3rd as well. Mr Spock was so relatable to me as a child. I totally understand!

    Yay!! I have my Mars in Aquarius in my 2nd house. The way I’ve learned to interpret that is that in my Akashic Records, I came into this lifetime with a vow of poverty. Doubly confirmed with my prenatal lunar eclipse in the sign of Taurus (life lesson of wealth building) so I am working on transforming my detached spending into innovative earnings 💫☀️ My Mars is also sextiling my Venus & south Node at 24 of Aries, therefore trining my north node in Libra... but I haven’t figured out that meaning yet 🙈🥰

    I was born with Mars in Aquarius and your talk has really helped me understand myself much better. I defiantly have a progressive vision and have always been quite the rebel. Many times I would ask myself - now why did you have to do - say that? It has just been an almost uncontrollable impulse. Also, the becoming status quo and the youthful promise getting crusty or being in a way fake - I can really identify with! Thank you so much. Now that I understand more, I think I will have more choice,

    Oh my god! So when you were talking about Ganymede and siblings being jealous, I immediately thought of Greta Thunberg. Her little sister Beata Ernman is a performer (singer and dancer) and she has expressed jealously on many occasions that Greta has all these "followers" and that everyone loves Greta and not her. She was even quoted as saying that she felt like the Jay-Z to Greta's Beyonce. So I check Greta's available chart- Mars at the anaretic degree of Aquartius! I'm laughing! You can't make this stuff up. If anyone's curious for fun, her sister's IG is @beataernman

    Yeah I have Mars conjunct Moon near the descendant. I think there's definitely a rebelliousness and inventiveness, also an ability to work both against and within 'abstract' rules and structures. For example you can see with Bobby Fischer and Floyd Mayweather, they reached the peak of their respective games with styles that push the creative boundaries of the rule-set they worked within.

    Have I been waiting for this! Thank you! My birth chart Mars has always been a bit stranger to me, but on the other hand weirdly familiar. Do I like it, I’m not sure. Mars in Aquarius in the second house in conjunction with north node. It’s an alien in otherwise a quite feminine chart, with a lot of Cancer and Capricorn. I’ve recognized this distant, maybe a bit puer character in my art which is altogether very feminine but the male characters, if I ever describe them, are often a bit strange and distant. Same goes with the male characters in my dreams. My energy levels are very variant. I like to do stuff and I’m a “bouncy” person but sometimes I lose all my energy just like that. Those are things that I connect with this weirdo Mars.

    One point of contention here... you mention that Mars in Aquarius can come off as fake. Then you give two primary follow up examples: Fred Rogers and Lance Armstrong. I think it’s important to delineate the difference here. Mars in Aquarius can appear robotic (like Fred Rogers) because of its objective, detached nature. I don’t disagree with you here. But what I do disagree with is the Lance Armstrong example. He has Mars conjunct the north node (Rahu) in Aquarius. That is what contributed to the deceptive nature of his physical (Mars) expression. Mars in Aquarius, in and of itself, does not lack integrity in that way. When it’s conjunct rahu, however, it is more likely to deceive in order to gain notoriety.

      You're 100% correct...I actually teach a course where I use his chart as a primary example of how Rahu distorts other planets, and I simply forgot to mention that context here...its something I've taught about his chart for many years now just because its such a good example!

    Thanks, that was 'cool' - explained a lot of contradictions in an insightful way. I have Mars in Aquarius in the first. My girlfriend is always treasing me for 'robot love.' Hey, I enjoy a cerebral connection lol. I think I express my Mars most strongly when I am very clear about my values and the information I have. Then I can say something in a strong, confident, direct and clear manner. Otherwise, it seems to be harder to express in what someone would think of as a typically Mars-ish way. Btw, Mr Rodgers was, I believe in the military (Mars) before his tv career.

    I'm an Aquarian sun sign so I enjoy it when Mars is in my sun sign, it's powerful in whatever I am compelled to do. The Spirit and the Bride say Come, so visitors are coming this week. My visitors have had enough of the lockdown and Jesus says he's going to fix it. Aquarians can be detached emotionally to protect their hearts, although when fully in a situation, job or relationship, it is wholly, life and soul. I also have Mars in my ascendent sign of Sagittarius so plenty of heat and flames of fire, it can be cosmic with fireworks that light up the cosmos. Joseph is the flame, Jacob is the fire, Esau will be stubble.

    How do you get moist for Aquarius? I'm wondering if anyone has a source for that

    • @Adam-Elenbaas
      @Adam-Elenbaas  4 года назад +2

      All air signs were traditionally considered to be hot or warm and moist...for thousands of years in fact. So air signs are like water in the sky in ancient astrology. Fluid and warming...like the warming and mingling breezes of spring after winter...

      @@Adam-Elenbaas that's really interesting, especially considering how air carries water. I just always thought of air as being dry but then again I do live in Utah...

    The fact that you use celebrities with with a manufactured image deductes from the knowledge you are trying to share.

    • @greenspiritarts
      @greenspiritarts 4 года назад +3

      @ Vic Balls: I disagree. Archetypes do not rely on "real" or "manufactured" examples to be defined/understood. All creative applications of examples apply in trying to illustrate a concept, an idea, a range of qualities and characteristics. I find all the "characters" (real or manufactured) used in this discussion/video useful in helping me understand my own Mars in Aquarius.
