Thunderbirds at Portland - Takeoff, Flyby, and Landing (Oregon Airshow 2022)

As always, an incredible privilege to get to see the Thunderbirds, here once again for the Oregon International Air Show at McMinnville. I'm especially excited that they chose to do a flyby of the airport with their smoke on before landing! Unexpected but certainly welcome.

...Nice catch. First saw the T-Birds in the mid 60s when they flew the F-100s. In '69 they moved to F-4E Phantoms and then five years alter to T-38 trainers before returning to "front line" aircraft with the F-16.
Disappointed that the airshow was moved from Hillsboro to McMinnville as those (like myself) who do not drive have will miss out as there are no other transportation services between Portland and McMinnville.

Thanks! Yeah, I wish that the airshow had stayed at Hillsboro as well. At least I can see some action at PDX, though.
