      This doesn't really add up because most people will just kill the pawn outright to "cure" them, meaning they will not receive a rating or a gift. Many players don't even offer gifts to begin with. Getting something rotten could just be someone's messed up way of saying thanks, or that your pawn was unhelpful.

      I meant I would’ve said it to myself. But there’s nothing wrong with this person or people voicing their opinions, you can voice a negative opinion without it being disrespectful, it’s basically criticism. You need constructive criticisms to learn & grow, but I agree that people should make content without all the clickbait. Just simply make content that people want to see & the rest will come naturally. That’s how you found my video right? I also agree with you as well, sometimes you should keep it to yourself.

    The Headache was the immediate noticible thing for me when I first encountered this, aside from the pop up I got when I had just hired a new pawn. I walked all my pawns to the shore near the Volcanic Island and stood idle for a bit to see which one displayed any unusual behaviour, and yup, that new pawn was definitely gone off the dragon juice. I tossed all three of em in the sea lol

      I rarely toss mine, although, I've tossed a few unsavory NPCs. The dude that was chewing out Ulrika in melve met the brine along with a few of the soldiers.
      For Pawns, I release them with a decent gift. After all, it's not their fault that they got infected. With my pawn, I heard that if you carry them into the brine with you it impoves their affinity. I don't know if this is true or not, but it sounds like a decent thing to do rather than, "By the Gods, get away from me!"
      When I play an RPG, I usually play as if I'm the person playing the way I would in real life. I understand that you can go around killing whoever and a gamer has the freedom to do anything they want and be a big BA. That's ok, t's a game. I'm just not that way.

    Don't forgot, or if you're not aware to anyone reading this, when you get to the Unmoored World your Pawn will unavoidably get Dragons Plague. It's scripted and can not be avoided. Even if you kill them they will quickly develope it again over a short amount of time. If you do choose to rest, the safest option is to rest at your house in Bahtal where they won't kill anyone that remains there after clearing the town. But again, don't waste your time killing your pawn in the Unmoored World as it's inevitable they will contract it and killing your pawn will lower your friendship level with them and I would advise against this, especially towards the end game especially if you want to see the "full" true ending.
    It's also worth noting (although not fully confirmed) that from testing this theory with other players, if your pawn is currently in the Unmoored World in your game and they get hired by someone playing in the normal world in their game, when they hire your pawn (most of the time) they will join the other players world already having Dragons Plague. So they carry it over with them to the other world. Seems to be the main cause of it passing from world to world. Alternatively, if your pawn is grabbed twice by a drake during a fight it looks like they can get it that way too, but appears to be less contractive that way. Appears more prevalent if a pawn is coming from the Unmoored world into your game. For the record, i know some people hate this new system, but i think it's added a great little feature to the game.

    • @TheRoundTableHold
      @TheRoundTableHold  3 месяца назад

      Yeah It’s definitely coded into the unmoored world, it must’ve been bugged at first before the patch because 4 cycles in & I got it for the first time (the video) the day the patch released & I was already in unmoored world & noticed my pawn had it immediately.
      Are you sure about the resting thing? I tried to purposely NUKE a town in the unmoored world so I could finally get the Dragon’s Plague cutscene, & I never got it. I don’t think it’s even possible to trigger that event unless it might’ve just been the location I tried. Would love an answer to this.

    • @RebTheRebel2000
      @RebTheRebel2000 2 месяца назад +1

      @@TheRoundTableHold From testing, I didn't nuke any towns in the Unmoored world from testing, only happened in the normal world. So I presume that your pawn doesn't go on a killing spree in the Unmoored world. But I can't confirm that to be definite, just that I never experienced it and was only warning people to rest in an empty town just in case it did actually trigger and they didn't want it to. But with it being scripted that your pawn develops it in the Unmoored world, I'm thinking that it doesn't kill anyone there due to endgame story reasons.

    Still say it's the most backwards ass decision they could have included in the game - even over turning the last rank's skill into something out of Gothic and Risen... and I hate the way getting skills work in those games. You put in enough "effort" to gain the skill by grinding Discipline. It worked fine in DD1.
    It's needlessly punitive to introduce something they knew was going to become a nuisance in that regard. In a game with multiplayer aspects; not only does it make me NOT want to hire any pawns, it makes me NOT want to fight Dragons. (I'm not even level 40 yet; I've seen drakes since 27... so the pacing is THAT fucked)
    Not only am I likely to get one shot by captain meteor spam happy - it's got rabies. : /
    [More evidence they NEVER should have taken out the Assassin if they were gonna pull this bullshit... Best part about the class was first: You can kill off your pawn and never need to hire others - stock up on Greenswarish and mushrooms, and go ham on monsters for 4x EXP. ANNND you get more strength doing it. There was NOTHING wrong with the class as it was. It even had a bow so you had ranged options]
    * Dragons like the Griffon, SHOULD be locked to see up to Level 100 at minimum. Then they should also be restricted to a VERY SPECIFIC playground. That way you can't bork your run by being forced to fight them. Also, I don't give a rat's ass if it flies - KEEP THE DAMNED THING WITHIN MY REACH. I fucking hate harpies. I hate that dragons can fly (several Asian variants don't actually have wings - wings were more common to western influence - and they were historically the first known to venerate them... so what the fuck?) and I REALLY hate the griffon.

    Not sure what you mean that you don't wanna fight dragons but if you are talking about the rumor that they are the ones that give dragon's plague, sadly i made an experiment with a friend of mine. We switched our pawns and i let my friend pawn been caught by a Drake temporarily, bu nothing happened. After several times switching our respective pawns my friend warned me that my pawn that has never saw a dragon in his playthrough got the sickness. So i just think it's a percentage thing.
    If you hate Drakes because they are annoying that's just understandable then 😂
