With pandoras its more efficient to roll 2 starred units into the versions you want. You hold pairs on bench for the pandoras to roll into and then roll those units again. If that makes any sense.

He’s looking to play tempo, he holds the pairs because if he hits upgrade it’s easy to transfer cass items to either unit. Either pair he hits is a major upgrade so losing 1 gold of interest dulls in comparison to the lucky chance of hitting either.
