- Last year, I ordered over thirty horror and cult films from Vinegar Syndrome's Halfway to Black Friday sale, and a few months later during Black Friday, I ordered even more! Now I present to you the aftermath... a giant haul of Blu-rays and 4K releases! In this unboxing/haul, you will see slashers, giallo thrillers, shot-on-video weirdness, B-monster movies, drive-in favorites, new horror films, '80s cheese, made for TV horror movies, martial arts flicks . . . the works!

Vinegar Syndrome is dangerous. I really want that "Lost Picture Show" boxset. I don't have a ton of their releases, simply because I don't do a ton of blind buys with movies anymore. I do own their "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" and their "Flesh for Frankenstein". Wouldn't mind owning their releases of "From Beyond" , "Miami Connection", and "Amityville". The remaster of "Legend of Boggy Creek" completely blew me away. It is shockingly different then that old VHS transfer that floated around for so many years.

Miami Connection is so fun! You'll have those songs in your head forever 😂The Devonsville Terror is one of my favourite witch movies, such cool creative kills! I really want to watch Frostbiter now. Awesome haul!

These movies all sound fantastic Cam- I have never actually seen The Amityville Horror but I really should rectify that. 🎬🎥🎃 Mutant Hunt looks good as well- those covers are next level awesome!. Buried Alive looks great- I have never seen it but what a cover!. King on screen sounds like it would be up my alley.

I feel like collecting physical movies is becoming more popular again. We all got into streaming, but after enough of our fave movies got pulled, we all realized how valuable physical media is. :)

The Laughing Dead is a lot of fun, made on a shoestring budget by writer S P Somtow with author friends cast in roles. Moon of the Wolf is adapted from a book by Leslie Whitten who also wrote Progeny of the Adder, which came out before Night Stalker and has a similar storyline. So many fun looking films to chose from, you’ll definitely be entertained during 2024.

I saw your post about being sick. Sorry you are sick! I was sick too this weekend. My sympathies! When you mentioned Jonathan Brandis in Sidekicks, it reminded me of him being in the 90s show SeaQuest. I loved that show as a kid. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it, but specifically the episode Knight of Shadows, a ghost ship episode. 😊
I was just watching SeaQuest over Christmas break! 😂 I guess I’ve been in a Jonathan Brandis mood lately because I also (attempted) to watch Ladybugs. 😂

Miami Connection is wonderful !! I have the same VS copy too. It’s so bad and so good. I think I commented on a video of yours back when you got some movies before and I think you also have NY Ninja? They are a PERFECT double feature. One about good ninjas the other about bad.
I didn’t finish the video before commenting but now you just unveiled A Blade in the Dark, it’s great !! I really like it. It’s got a nice creepy atmospheric piano tune featured throughout. The film started out as a mini series for Italian TV but it got too gory during production for the censors so they went ahead and finished as a stand-alone film. It’s interesting.
I’m on a roll, Blood Beat was…a mess. The last 10-15 is the best part, but it is a fun watch if you do it with others.

Hey Cameron just want to let you know the release page of amityville horror lists the cover art being reversible so the original poster art probably is included or at least alternative artwork. I own many vinsyn titles and absolutely love what they do. Anyways great vid loved seeing you dive into the vinsyn catalog since I'm a big fan of theirs and have many of their titles.
Thanks! The original art actually isn't included. There is some art inside, but it's like a wide illustration, not reversible art. Very strange that they list it as reversible. Anyway, thank you for watching!

Hey Cameron you might already know this but I wanted to make sure you did. You can flip the cover on those movies most of them have another cover when you flip over.

I wonder if you know the name of this movie. My co-worker turned off the tv before I could learn the title. It was in the 60s, and a man was getting married. Everyone was dancing. Then the next scene she died and they were doing the funeral. When everyone left, a huge devil's wind starts, and her casket opens, and then her eyes open. Does this movie sound familiar?
