Everyone who has played PoE1 knows that if you shoot a fireball through a flame wall, it increases its damage. What I love about this, is that now it is visibly obvious that the fireball is taking on extra damage as it passes through the flame wall. Fantastic attention to detail.
Yeah, I've read that the Sorceress is bad but I see POE2 focused more on combining your skills and a more tactical approach rather than spamming 1 skill and 1-shoting trash mobs. This makes the sorceress look more interesting to play. The biggest complaint I think many would have is the way flask are handled now and having to go back to town to replenish them. I don't want to have to focus on a passive just to retain Mana/Life
If they are ging in any shape or Form with flasks like they did in poe. Then about Akt 3-4 You will never ever use flasks for healing or mana reg 😂. But I hope this is a different approach and they make it harder or more impossible for unlimited mana. 😅
Thank you for this video, it's all I wanted from the streamer event! You did a great job dodging, comboing skills and adapting to each boss. Was fun to watch.

Yo! The rare Ammy from Devourer! I'm really excited for Sorc, it seems like her skill floor is a bit higher and she's got a tougher early game but you've done a great job of showing her off. Good stuff Waggle, wiggles from me.

Very nice footage! Had to skip most of Candlesmass fight though (damn fire res 😆) How many tries did it take for each boss? Seems like you already knew their movesets pretty well. What does Solar Orb do? Just deals damage every pulse? And did I get it correct, you can cast Flameblast only from either your or Solars Orb's positions?
Will have a longer video with all the boss attempts up soon(tm), but about half the bosses were first try, others took 2-3 tries, and the last boss took like 10 tries. Solar orb basically works how you guessed it does :^)

I hope there are some Guard skills like in PoE1, some of those attacks like Candlemass firebreath or Lachlann soul mortar seem to leave very little margin for error.
i like the boss fights... i really want the difficulty will only rise and be harder and one shoting in poe 2 will be not possible. It will be the best arpg/hns ever when the deepth of itemisation will be fixed with deep skilled combat.
I hope the complex items and builds are also in the game. Items like doryanis prototype are the reason i started to many new characters. Not graphics, not bossfights. Replayability came from those many interesting builds that were in the first game. Looks great and i hope couch koop works in endgame too. In poe1 you outrunned each other in teamplay and were often not able to see anything.

In poe look of a skill actually changes when adding support gems and getting lvl of the skill gem itself (unlike d4). This is a first act, your character is supposed to be weak.
Sorc did decent on the bosses, probably still a bit behind the ranger/warrior that were the other options available, but it was fine enough. The big problem with sorc was clearing regular zones and getting run down by melee mobs that were very tough to kite due to low movement/cast speed
hope they make epic weapon and armor designs according to tier list and not all look generic just like silkroad online and that maybe this will be my next game after m4 no more scm2ern zhts
A lot of people say this game is slower than PoE 1, but I find the bosses encounters quite well paced...and it's only in act 1. If the global gameplay stays active and engaged throughout the campaign and the endgame, it won't feel slow (as in, boring). It's a different game anyways.
A boss encounter isnt supposed to end in 10 seconds, so those are indeed well paced, especially for an act 1 cookie cutter build. Some people just can't fathom how an actual good game is supposed to look.
PoE2 already looks 10x better than D4. Better graphical fidelity, animation, physics, and etc. Not to mention gameplay looks so fun. I'm going to quit D4 after PoE2 releases. Glad I didn't waste any money on microtransactions with D4.
Only thing I don’t like is some of the bosses don’t even try to hit you. Their attack is so slow that by the time they’re at the end of the attack…the player is already somewhere else. It doesn’t feel like the bosses are coded to be hard at all

PoE has a lot more depth and complexity compared to D4. There is almost endless customization when it comes to making builds and specializing your character. For example every skill can be used by every class. This game has more bosses in act 1 than Diablo 4 has in it's full game.
Objectively false.
