Everybody is watching the Watchmen comic series as it rises in price, classic Wolverine solo comics are shredding the competition, J Scott Campbell Amazing Spider-Man cover continue to catch collectors in their web, Black Manta keys from the original Aquaman run are surfacing everywhere, the first solo Iron Man series is all powered up, the original X-Men 1 remains a grail comic, the first appearance of the Phoenix is destroying records, Star Wars: Heir to the Empire is seeing some love from Thrawn fans, and Deadpool is still aiming for the top spot!

Toughest wolverine in the mini series is #3 with that black cover. That book is a sleeper key for high grade. Go for the newsstand.
Those Jim Aparo AQUAMAN covers are srsly underrated.

Star Wars Heir to the Empire is also the 1st appearance of Mara Jade. If she makes it into Canon, then this book will spike even more.
I got a CGC 7.5 Watchman 1 for $70, it may not be a 9.8 but I have it in my collection and it didn't break the bank, I'm happy

I wonder how many collectors are trying to put together the Wolverine limited series in all 9.8s. I’m betting Dazzler will be back at or near the top spot after Taylor’s Sunday Night Football appearance.
Why is Thrawn’s first appearance on fire but not Ashoka’s?
Probably because the Ahsoka first appearance is super rare and the people that have them are holding on to them. I think the print run on that book was very low.

I was the one who bought the 4.5 of the aquaman 35 at 280! The book presented really nice i actually bought it because i was playing injustice 2 and was wondering how much his first appearance cost it wasnt half bad so decided to jump in

Any thoughts on TOS 39? If you have the cash, is a mid grade a good investment?
AMS#601 is on my list to get but I want a graded one and X-Men#1 1963 is a grail book I been chasing for years. If I can ever get X-Men#1 1963,TMNT#1,Hulk#181 and Amazing Fantasy#15 then I am done collecting and will just go back to grabbing any cheap first apps I can get from $20 to $100 cause there is 100's of first appearances out there to get.
The Pirate side story was animated for Watchman

It’s hard to buy these numbers because your comparing prices to the all Time highs of 2020 2021. My point is I don’t think some of these books will reach highs like that for a very long time if ever.
Does Marvel books keep their value after the movie? So DC will be more the same
ATTENTION Tom: can ya not forget Raw copy sales. Granted I have CGC & etc slabs. But younger obvi not me all can’t afford Slabs and u have younger fans etc that trash on ya for not doing this I remember ya use to do it.
