- The Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu is a 5 star hotel in Cebu City. It is one of the top luxury hotels to stay when in Cebu Philippines. Located right next door to SM City shopping mall. It's also quite close to the pier to catch ferries to such places as Bohol. The facilities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, gym and its famous Faria restaurant, offering one of the best buffets in Cebu City. Rates for the buffet are shown in the video. In the video I check room rates on the Radisson's Blu Cebu own website and compare it to other sites such as Trivago, Agoda and TripAdvisor to see the best rates. I found with the dates I put in they were all the same. Some room rates include the buffet breakfast. I also show how to get to the hotel from Cebu's airport. For me the Radisson Blu Cebu is still one of the best hotels to stay in Cebu and I would still include it in my top 10 hotels. Arriving in Cebu early August. Originally booked for Seda Central Bloc but ultimately had a change of heart booking a junior suite here. Seeing videos like this makes me feel better about that decision.
Even though Seda Block is newer I think the Radisson Blu is better. It's also a higher star rating.
I stayed 5-6 night at Radisson Blu, only planned for 1 night. I kept on extending, it was that nice of a place!
My next PH trip is in 2 months and I'll undoubtedly end up here again :)
The breakfast is out of this world
Really nice place to stay! They are building a Radisson Park Hotel next to SM Seaside, while not as upscale as Radisson Blu it still should be a nice place to stay in that part of Cebu City.
Hotels in Philippines is Twice as expensive compare to Thailand, Malaysia , Vietnam. Even this unbranded hotels in Cebu is same price as Shang ri la in Kuala Limpur.
Yeah unfortunately that's the way it is. I wish it was more competitive.

Never heard much traffic. But I'm not such a light sleeper and I'm usually on one of the higher floors. The Business Class rooms are good value. You can take your breakfast on the 20th floor lounge, get free non alcohol drinks all day long, and then cocktail hour from 6 to 8 for free booze and pretty good eats. Bai Hotel used to be a close second but lately they've been irritating me with their marathon process for checking in or out. Never seen so much tapping on a keyboard to check one guy into one room. And that's even though I'm a repeat customer and all my info is already in their system. I still like Waterfront even though it's showing its age. The Seda by Ayala is a good backup. I still need to try the one in IT Park. And all these are if you're just staying in town. If you already have your girl with you it's probably better to go to Mactan or further afield.

Yeah it's a fantastic hotel. I was just there a couple months ago, they are often having some great promo rates due to the downturn with the quarantine.

put up with traffic noise but save time on getting to ferry port in Cebu ever increasing traffic.. make your choice!
Yeah traffic in Cebu is getting more problematic. Not only with wait time but the noise from it. I do have to say though, the noise is only really an issue outside around the pool. Inside it is more insulated from noise. Anyhow I try to keep the reviews balanced, so you see both pros and cons. I hope they help people decide.

I had a look on Agoda, looks not too bad. Ill try to check it out. The other day I walked passed a hotel called "hotel one" it's a brand new one under 1k not far from Fuente Osmena. I'm going to check that one out next week.
@@FindingParadise simple rooms but modern and clean no lift 3 flights of stairs staff good very good value for price has a 7/11 store underneath bit noisy evenings with customers drinking outside OK for short stay I would stay again hope it stays as good

Looks nice but its pricey which put me off and that traffic noise has really put me off. Can't beat the Marco Polo in my opinion
Yeah I try to give the pros and cons so you can get a clear picture. Ultimately the decision lies with each individual and I hope these videos help. Traffic noise only really noticeable outside around the pool, inside its more insulated from noise. I like the Marco Polo too, but I have to say the rooms are nicer at the Radisson. Each has its advantages.

Radisson is a 5 star hotel and Seda is 4 star. Both are good but Radisson is better.

Unfortunately the Radisson is not what it used to be. In spite of urgent renovations, the management has not managed to invest in the future. With the 15% price increase an evolution is sold to the customers. In fact, these are only repair measures that have been absolutely necessary for several years. This is in my opinion the wrong way. I as a Radisson Gold customer, will no longer be staying at this hotel. (Status 2020). There is no question: the staff in the hotel is very friendly, well organized and excellently trained. What good is a new TV in a room if I can hear the street noise (no matter which floor)? What good is a wrongly placed rain shower? What good is an AC that does not manage to cool down to 21 deg celsius? All in all there are positive things to report. With the change of the chef the restaurant and the taste of the food has improved a lot. There is a lot going on in the hotel business in Cebu City. Right across the street the Dusit Group is building a new hotel...
