The Luxurious NUSTAR Resort & Casino Cebu Will Blow You Away!

- Today I look at the Fili Hotel in Cebu a new 5 star hotel in Cebu Philippines and part of the NUSTAR Casino Cebu.
I'll look at the rooms at the Nustar including the deluxe Seaview and the amazing luxurious 4 star bedroom villa complete with its own private infinity swimming pool. It is amazing but one of the most expensive rooms in the Philippines. In the video i show the prices of these rooms. And compare with 3rd party sites like Agoda.
The Nustar has offers some of the best fine dining in Cebu. Including the Mott 32 restaurant which is easily the best Chinese restaurant in Cebu. Try also the Il Primo Steakhouse an Italian steakhouse, Fina restaurant for great Filipino food and Fili all day dining restaurant for some of the best buffets in Cebu City.
The casino is one of the biggest in the Philippines. It even has its own bar to chill with some drinks.
I'll also give an update to the Nustar Cebu to see how its progressing.

Wow very fancy! Love Philippines! Love Cebu! Great video here! Been there to Philippines 19 times from Seattle USA. Moving there with my Filipina wife to Cagayan De Oro City next year to open our small boutique Beach Resort! LET'S GO!!!

When that whole complex is completed, it's gonna rock. Hopefully, it won't price out the average tourist so everyone can enjoy it and not just the high rollers.

A very well presented vid of the new place in Cebu, Rob. You even have actors as part of the presentation. Thank you. Will definitely stay at the Fili but maybe eat out at Il Corso...love the outdoor setting, it has got that summer vibe plus BBQ to boot not to mention you pay half the price for exactly the food. Will try the Mott32 as a one off just for the experience......you're really good at this, keep it up ,matey

As usual, a high quality video from you focusing on what travellers want.
The food at the Chinese restaurant looks deliciious. In time, it'll attract affluent Filipinos and foreigners. I'm always worried about buildings being on reclaimed land but it's fairly common in many nations, so one hopes the engineers' calculations have been accurate. Would not want that 'sinking' feeling.
At a quick look, that steak at Il Primo looked to be a bit on the rare side. I'd be tempted to ask for it to be cooked 'medium well'. Meat dishes expensive by Australian standards!
The MyBus has very reasonable fares: it's priced for locals. Buses are airconditioned and the ride smooth, with a good number of stops at major pick up and alighting points. It even operates to and from Mactan International Airport on Mactan Island. Plenty of space for luggage: more comfortable than a stop-start taxi.
Thanks Edmund. That's how I like my meat. Yeah steaks are so expensive here. Anyhow a great place. I actually spoke to some sales people from the Nustar at a travel show the other week and they were telling they are hoping to open the 6 star NUSTAR hotel part early next year. Also Crimson Mactan is planning to reopen next month and later on the Movenpick (although the Ibiza Club is still not finished).
It looks like the complex sits on the actual island (Kawit Island) and not on the reclaimed area between it and the mainland. The engineers know better.

You should try Mott32. My favorite restaurant in Hong Kong (at the basement of Standard Chartered building).

Caniso wise very clean nice. Bathrooms also top notched. On game tables Roulette live min 100 fpf inside 500 fpf outside with 2000 fpf limit. Baccarat tabes min 500 fpf, 1000 fpf, 2000 fpf with limits of 300k fpf, 400k fpf, and 500k fpf which much better than Las Vegas Baccarat tables of 15 usd. So much better at Nustar Casino for martingale bets or doubling bets.

These casinos don't seem to understand the appeal of attracting the poker community.

Not impressed. Spent a 3 day weekend there in January. The rooms are not worth the price, the resteraunts are highly overpriced. The casino does not give free drinks to gamblers, the minimum blackjack buy in is 500 pesos. Not worth the price tag. The only good thing was the wealth of TV channels. the best restaurant with a decent price tag was the Taiwanese resteraunt in the attached mall.
Addendum. They have a great breakfast buffet, almost as good as Quest Hotel near Ayala Mall.
CEBU, the one and only Queen City of the South, is the only Philippine location of one of the world’s best restaurant brands, Mott 32, a Michelin star-award-winning Chinese restaurant. Mott 32 is now the best Chinese restaurant in the Philippines.
There are eight Mott 32 restaurants in some of the world’s most vibrant cities; in addition to the original in Hong Kong, there is a Mott 32 in Vancouver, Las Vegas, Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai, Seoul and Cebu, the first and only Mott 32 in the country is located at Nustar Resort and Casino in Cebu City.
As Mott 32 has only opened one restaurant per country, it seems likely that the NUSTAR Resort restaurant in Cebu will be the one and only Mott 32 in the Philippines.
Yeah there's no other Chinese restaurant that comes close that I've been to in Cebu and probably never will! They're really trying to attract those high rollers from China.
The first and only ultra-luxury 6-Star Nustar Hotel, and the first and only in the Philippines the glass-floor Sky Deck will open soon.
And the latest update on the price of the 4-Bedroom Villa at Fili Hotel this month of November is over 700,000 per night.

I love Mott 32 Cebu. You should try their premium Abalone dishes; they are very delicious. The Braised whole dried South African Abalone ( 1 pc, 120g) is Php16,800 and the Braised whole dried Japanese Abalone (1 pc, 24g) is Php26,800 to Php30,000 only. 🥰
