Love your Stark Varg content! Dying to know how the varg will perform in hard enduro, lacking a clutch and all that. Also really curious to know how it would perform in hotter locations (above 30 degrees Celsius ) keep these videos coming!
Thank you! For hard enduro this bike should destroy everything. a throttle jab hits as hard as a clutch pop. No clutch needed. Really! You have a ton more control on the Varg. No stalling.. You can dead stop on a hill and creep up as slow as you want. No overheating, no fried clutches, no flame outs, and extreme control of traction! Its crazy how much traction you get with the smooth power. Also you can set engine braking to whatever you want. I think enduro riding is going to be incredible with this bike. Its similar to a 300 2 stroke in 3rd gear. That long torquey power that never ends.
@@913outdoors that’s so awesome to hear! By the way, don’t you think the battery is a bit too exposed from its sides? I mean, isn’t there a risk of a rock damaging the battery if you fall?
@@Tibingi84 Not sure how durable it is but looks pretty tough. You could ask the Stark guys how durable it is. But don't most guys riding in boulder gardens and hard enduro have all kinds of aftermarket skid plates and armor all over their bikes anyways? I'm sure the aftermarket will be huge for these.
Thanks for making the videos and answering everyone's questions, great work! I dont have any questions. My delievery eta is September 30, so I expect I will be getting my payment request in a couple of weeks. Im really excited, will finally be able to ride at home like you are doing. I have 2 fears, first is getting back on my gas bikes after the varg and messing up with the clutch ( I'm getting the handlebar rear brake ) and second..Im worried that I will like the Varg so much I will lose interest in riding my gas bikes
Congrats on the soon delivery! You are going to love it! I got on my 350 last weekend and it felt great. No issues going back. They are similar enough and shifting/clutch is permanent muscle memory. Like riding a bicycle. The Varg will make you question keeping the gas bikes though. Its that much better! I already sold one of my beloved 350s i swore i'd never sell.
Expecting mine in November, What is the time to charge the bike up if the battery is down to say 20%? Also do you feel if you put it in the 40hp mode could you get 3 to 4 hrs trail ride time on a charge? Hopefully your feedback to Stark is being addressed especially the side stand.
I have my charger set to 80% and it would charge from 20% to 100% in about 1.5 hours. It gets up to around 90% quickly then slows down. In trails you should be able to get a few hours for sure! 40hp setting would be perfect.
Thanks for sharing your real world Varg experience! Looks like you are quickly learning about the bike and most importantly enjoying riding the Varg! I got to ride a Varg this week but only up to the 55hp level which was plenty quick. What suspension setting did you Varg come with? How is the suspension working for you? What are you noticing as you jump back on your gas bikes after riding the Varg?
Thanks! Yes i'm slowly getting used to it. Jump timing is different for sure but just a learning curve which i'm enjoying! The 55hp setting is about the max that makes sense for most riding. So you should have a pretty good feel of it at that. Mine is set up for 210#. I'm 6'7" 210#. Suspension feels amazing. Not plush but extremely controlled and lands with no feel of compression or rebound. It feels a lot like the KYB A-Kit parts actually! I love it. My YZ feels more plush, this feels more controlled. I prefer this for sure. So i've only had my 23 350sxf out after riding my Varg and the first thing I notice obviously is the vibration but also hesitation on throttle! The Varg is so responsive it makes gas bikes feel almost a bit laggy. I can definitely feel the inertia effects on the gas engine more than I noticed before. Still had a blast on the 350! But the Varg is a lot better for my wrists which were shattered a few years ago. I get barely any arm pump on the Varg! I am really starting to love the silence as well. I love how gas engines sound but the quiet is growing on me for sure.
I think he is going with lower gearing. Switched to 13T in the front from 14T. It sounds like he thought you were talking about rear sprocket going smaller, not front.
Yeah for sure. I lost my helmet mount so was using the chest mount. I prefer the chin mount. This view makes all my jumps look small too. lol. They are like 4x bigger than they appear on video with this view.
I see you took the kickstant off haha. And dang dude you went above and beyond cleaning that thing lol. Looks like that was about a 20 minute moto of mid power. What was the battery at when you were done? Thank you for sharing!!
@@913outdoors Dang dude, that's good to know. You're about the same riding level as me so that is very good news 😎. Now I know what to expect with range. This will be more than enough for me. Worst-case I push myself really hard and go fast and get 35 minutes instead but even that is still plenty!

Thanks! I have a Blo dryer I use for my cars and bikes. Works awesome. blocardryer.com/products/air-gt-dryer
Is the battery range better with the 18 wheel and smaller sprokets?
Probably worse. 18" tire is heavier and has more grip. Taller gearing on electric uses more power as well. more load = more power draw.
