Hello Hunnay!!!! My favorite part was seeing your family share together and of course Mama Mai always gives me life lo lo lo lo lo love her🥰😍 you're so blessed to have such a wonderful family.
Who need the kardashians when we have the funniest, dopest, and awesome family "THE MAIS" ❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾 OMG the shade from the siblings to each other is the best 😂😂 true siblings lmao
I love how real y'all are. That's how real families are.. talking over each other, saying all kinds of weird things, laughing at the weirdness, disagreeing, and just having love for each other regardless of our differences. God bless you all.
@@jaxo5679 which is why she said its sweet thwt she respects her dushgters choice... Edit: just saw that part in the video so i guess its not that sweet 😅😂
Jeannie has made me so interested in learning about Vietnamese culture and history. I learned so much through this video Side note you all are looking BAD AF!! I love the traditional outfits.
Jeannie you're an inspiration. I love that you speak your mind so eloquently and passionately. Also love that you hustle hard and treat people with love & kindness. Many blessings to you & your loved ones.
I love you 💕 the way you always remember your roots, you’re a very beautiful example of the diversity of Vietnamese-American and I hope you can maintain the Vietnamese culture... Happy New Year ❤️
Visibility is so important!! Thank you so much for showing everyone how fun and awesome Vietnamese culture and Vietnamese families living in America can be.
Jeannies energy is so infectious. I envy those that get to be around her, her spirit just seems so positive and happy. Shutout to the Mai fam too. Blessings guys 💙
Wow, everyone looks gorgeous, the traditional clothing looks very similar to the Indian/South asian clothing. Jeannie you are super adorable, I love this whole video with the fam.
The two of you together make me laugh so much. It is so easy to tell how much you love your mom Jeannie. Mama Mai, there is no one like you. You are full of life and I respect you tremendously. Your whole family together makes me long for healing in mine.
"I hope you never get skin cancer" "Its indoor rock climbing" I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣😂 Wait I just watched the end now I'm crying yall are so funny🤣🤑, my family doesnt do any traditions like this I'm sad 😔
Mexican here, we do offerings and celebrate our ancestors too for Dia De Muertos too! If we do speeches, they Have to be to our elders in our Native tongue, and we serve them food. Plus we got Lotería, basically our Mexican family gambling bingo lol Happy Lunar New Year! 👌👍
Jeannie! I *think* I have watched every Hello Hunnay episode. I have to tell you, this show is SO GOOD. You all are amazing! I have so enjoyed watching, laughing, crying and vibe-ing with you, Mama Mai, Uncle Ted, your brothers, Daddy Mai...everyone (WUTEVA)! GOLDEN CONTENT, truly!
This is absolutely a beautiful show. I agree with the "fam" here that your sharing of the Vietnamese culture is wonderful. This makes real the saying that we are more alike than different. I love the idea of "understanding" various cultures, practices, and beliefs instead of "tolerating" them. Your show speaks volumes to helping to understand better Asian cultures and hearing you differentiate Chinese and Vietnamese with respect to the Lunar New Year was eye-opening to me, thank you! And, I picked up on you and your brother's inability to speak "fluently" your native tongue. Losing native languages happens in all groups of people when they migrate to other lands and generations later, many have no recollection of their native tongue. Be very intentional about conversing in your native tongue. Many organizations are providing financial support to researchers and practitioners to design ways and provide resources to "teach-back" languages or to document languages that are in danger of being lost. One way of losing languages is by not being intentional about maintaining them. Continued success!
Such a beautiful way to celebrate New Year! Thank you for teaching us about your traditions Jeannie. I have such a better understanding of your beautiful and special culture. I pray you have continued blessings in 2020 and that Gods Amazing Grace guides you..protects you..heals you physically and mentally. 💛💛
I absolutely LOVE your entire family! Iʻm literally in tears laughing so hard. Although Iʻm Japanese I can totally identify with the whole Asian crazy fam. Love yoU!
You guys are the cutest family, I pray that my family can get to the same level.......we’re working on it and thank you for showing me that it’s really ok to just be who you are. Love you guys so much. Also congratulations Jeannie on your lovely relationship with Jeezy.
My grandparents are all mixed French , kiwi, Chinese,Hawaiian, Italian, Irish and Portuguese. But every Chinese New Year or any celebration actually my Chinese grandmother always gifts us with little purses with money for good luck. She's in Melbourne right now spending the new year with her sisters. I always love how asian she is, and I've always been told how asian I am cs firstly I was the only one in my family born looking asian with gold red hair and green eyes. Although I was always teased for my asian qualities and habits I always loved them and it's so great to see how the world is always evolving so trust your spirit and love yourself. Love you grandma shout out to Nana Jean. Ps my first shoutout in my life lol
I'm half Vietnamese and my dad did not raise me as much within the culture. I have a lot of fomo, but am so glad you exist for me to learn more about his people.
MORE OF THIS. THIS WAS SOOOOOO MUCH FUN TO WATCH - ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. I LOVE THAT I CAN COUNT ON THIS SHOW FOR SOME GOOD COMEDIC RELIEF. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
