Hello, what format of videos are supported to be able to play woth sd card or usb stick? Avi, mp4,..? And whats the recommended resolution, 720x480 (no hd)?
This looks like a nice unit. I'd really like to find an aftermarket player that allows control from the front seat. With smaller children, it's hard (and dangerous) for the front passenger to have to climb into the back seat to change DVDs. Have you seen anything like that?
I have not seen any aftermarket devices with control from the front row. With this unit, the touch controls are quite large and depending on the age of your child, it might be possible to teach them the basic controls to play/pause/control volume. When my kids were younger, and we did road trip, the front passenger would be the one leaning over to the headrest device to help with changing disc and getting started. But if you are driving by yourself, and the kids are too young, it will be difficult.
Good observation. Still good enough so you don't need to start the movie every time. I use to have one that does that. Let's just say my kids were not happy on road trips.
Is there a way to sync up 5 or 6 units together? Maybe using the HDMI source and add a multi-way splitter?

Very solid, but there will be some small shakes over bumpy road.
