I recommend putting it on your desk when you’re actually using it; having it up against the wall means the mat runs into the wall and you can lose the cutting registration (because the mat’s meant to move freely back and forth). I think you’ll find that’s why those poops got cut in the wrong place. They look good stored against walls, but they’re not built to function against them.
You can reduce the tackiness of the mat by sticking it against a tshirt once or twice, and peel the mat from the sticker rather than the other way round.

Same! I think there are tutorials on yt of how to make stickers without a machine but I’ve never got round to doing them lol
its easy! get clear plastic wrap, make/print/draw/paint/take an image, put it on,
put clear tape over it. cut it out with a half inch to one inch border,
peel the plastic wrap off the back, stick, and u have a sticker!
the border u leave allows the tape to perform as adhesive, or u could always buy a 6$ adhesive stick.

I have a silhouette myself and it took me about a week to learn it’s really fun when you get the hang of it, I suggest takes notes like what you set your blade options!

When you get a brand new cutting mat the sticker on it is very very strong and it will ruin the back of the paper. So try to be more gentil, e don’t use your hands to press the paper even more on the mat. Also, don’t use the machine on that shelf!! The machine needs more space to move the mat so the cut can be done properly. I also have a Silhouette and my cuts always get messed up if the mat is stuck and not moving the way it should. And when you use the tracing, make sure that you have a clean line, because any little points on the middle of the drawing (results from the trace) the machine will read and cut (it always ends with a poorly finish). And yes, IT IS LOUD and I kinda hate it sometimes…. anyways, just a few little tips that helped me when I bought mine 💕💕💕 just give yourself some time (and pacience haha), you’ll learn it with more practice

Grats on the new machine!! I'm sure you're going to love it. If you got the little "spatula" type tool with your machine it works GREAT at not making your stickers roll and they peel fast.Also, get a light tack mat instead of standard. Much easier to peel but holds your paper perfectly.

Quick tip! when your done cutting, lay your mat face down and then peel the stickers off while rolling the mat. This way the stickers will lay flat and not be curled. congrats on getting the cutting machine. I have 4 of the cricuts and 4 of the cameos.

ah for the color adjustment thing imo u can use the settings on procreate to make it so that even on screen the colors should be similar to that on the ipad (its on the canvas settings) but i could be mistaken so

Hey ! I might be late, and you might already know it, but you have to leave space behind your cutting machine, touching the wall like this, can alter the cutting, AND curl the cutting mat to take of the stickers, you can also use a "spatula" like the ones for painting! You can find a lot of videos about how to perfectly do it !
Anyway, I havn't done it in a long time, I miss this ! I might draw a bit !

I’d says bring your sticker files into silhouette studio before cutting and do test prints in there, also you can use the offset option if the stickers themselves are a separate file then the background, you can even colour fill the offsets and refine them. Adding a slight white boarder to the cut area so if it’s a tiny bit misaligned it won’t completely ruin the stickers. I find this makes much smother cut line then I would freehanded and don’t have to worry about little marks inside the stickers, trace I find does that a lot and is inconvenient. But to each their own.
Also try give your machine ample table space from and back cause the mat will wear out being shoved into the wall and draping to much in the front. Also if your testing paper use the arrow keys and select test to make a little square and triangle. Plus try to peel the mat of the sheets rather the other way prevents curls. Use the mats sticky cover sheet on the desk so not much dust and fibres get on the sticky part. I also take scrap cardstick to block the area of sticky mat I don’t use often like the bottom and side to retain the mats lifespan.
Hi! I don’t have a cricut or a silhouette so I don’t know for myself but, when you remove sheets, you should do the peeling motion with the mat instead of peeling the sheet off. You should almost kinda bend the mat. Hope it helps

The packaging butts are so hilarious! I currently have a Silhouette Cameo 3 because the previous owner gave up on it, it will still murders paper like a serial killer at some times. When you printed the first sticker without the registration marks, I panicked deep inside hahaha I also made that same mistake lol

If you get a color calibration device like a a Spyder and color calibrate your monitor, you can get a more accurate representation of what your prints will look like and it will save you from having to make multiple prints to adjust the colors.

Hey! Have u made ur design on CMYK layer setting? I saw u having trouble with printing so I just wanna let u know. In case u haven't know, printers has CMYK value while screen has RGB, so it's important to make the layer setting into CMYK for printing products, so u will have less color errors ☺️
oh i want to give you some suggestions. So i think you should let the silhouette on the table while it cutting, so the machine have the space in the back and front, after finishing using it you can put it back to the shelf to save space. And also to avoid sticker sheets being curled, you can try to bend the mat while peeling of the sticker sheet. That are some my though, and i loveeeeeee your video and art. Love ❤️
i think u should consider putting the subtitle in a coloured box or something like that because sometime it blends with the background of the video so it's kinda hard to catch up :3 a great video as always

The best way to peel the stickers off is to place the mat on the edge of the table, then bend & peel the mat away from the stickers, it’ll prevent that curl from happening.
I wasted lots of papers too with my cameo 😪 the struggle is real!
