I ordered this monitor yesterday and received it today. Used it for work (emails, LinkedIn etc), browsing, gaming via Nintendo switch connection and watched a whole movie in it. And I am very happy with my purchase! The stand and cable management feature is such a nice touch and very stable stand. No backlight issue, great colours, can see everything even during very dark scenes, very clear and crisp display. The buttons for menu and to change settings is very easy to use. Don’t know why people have issues of it not being bright enough I actually had to reduce brightness coz too bright. I love that it has a vga, display port, hdmi and audio output port plus inbuilt speakers. The speakers are low even at full volume but good enough for when I game with my Nintendo switch - again you can attach speaker if you want. Very happy with this monitor - wanted something for multi use and for gaming only my Nintendo switch .

@@Ror235 Hey i am actually playing on it rn. It works with my ps4 and has is very good for gaming. It has an hdmi port which works with the ps4. I would definetely recommend it to you. Its cheap on amazon as well

Nice video, im using this monitor rn and it´s incredible, play games whit high graphics in this beauty it´s just the best experience you can get at this price, i was unsure whether to buy this monitor or the samsung c24f390 , but i saw this video and i decided to went for the benq, it was the best option i could choose, bc a few days later i went to my friend´s house (who has the c24f390) and the quality it´s simply incomparable, if you have 100 dollars of budget and you want an amazing monitor for the price i think this is the best option.

I am considering The BenQ GW2480 and the Samsung C24F390 as well. On paper the Samsung has a higher Contrast ratio and the Panel is VA so deeper blacks and the light bleeding should be minimal. However, I find the IPS panels to have crispier image and it's just eye pleasing to look at. I am still confused between the two... I am planning to upgrade from a 19 inch, 7 year old LG monitor with TN panel so I think either would be a massive change but I also want something I won't have to upgrade for the next 4/5 years.

that is BRIGHTNESS SENSOR, this monitor has auto-brightness, to please your eyes. in low light environment it dims itself, and vice versa.
I just cringed so hard the brightness sensor is literally the biggest selling point on this monitor how did he miss that🤦♂️

How can I overclock this monitor?
I bought this for my son and the screen was constantly flickering/cutting out when used with his Xbox One. Works fine with Mac mini and Apple TV though.
Picture was also worse quality than his old Samsung monitor we found on the street, 3ms faster and more crisp image. I think this monitor is going back to Amazon
It has 4 screw holes on the back that look like you could use any VESA stand, is that what you meant by 'your own stand'

I’m not sure about connecting it to the monitor, but I’m sure you can plug it into whatever is your monitor is imputing. For example, a gaming console or PC
Ha I have the same samsung tv, got it from my grandfather years ago, I didnt use it cause I had a big tv. But than i used it, ( due to its small size ) for compeditive gaming. But im planing on upgrading to this now 😂

I too purchased it, I am ok with everything but not happy with the speakers. For testing purpose I played a RUclips video, even at 100 I was not able to hear anything. I thought that the video volume is low but I played the same video on my phone and laptop, I was able to hear without any issue. May be the product is faulty, need to test more to come to conclusion whether to exchange it or not.

@@Ror235 I’m afraid I didn’t end up getting this one as it was sold out when I looked. But I got one from Amazon that’s pretty good. It literally runs perfectly, I’ll send you the link so you can have a look. I’m using an Xbox One S and literally had no issues at all.

Is 24 big enough or do you recommend 27?
It’s honestly all personal preference but the 24 inch one for me works great and was actually a step up from my old one.

Well it’s and HDMI monitor so it displays what’s coming from a computer or laptop so you’ll need one of those as a monitor is just a screen it doesn’t have anything to play by itself. If you have a laptop with and HDMI port it will work. You can also get an adapter as well to convert a usb or type c to an HDMI so you can plug it in to the monitor and display your laptops screen. Hope this helped!
