The pure Melancholic vibes this gives through just the piano playing and even in the brutal heavy parts it portrays a sad story and what feels like a despair. I get the vibes that someone is escaping a horror or tyranny and they're being hunted down and they're losing all hope and through struggle and perseverance they're becoming empowered and blood hungry themselves. Fucking amazing SONG!!!

Work on your breathing for one. Getting the proper breaths will help in the long run as you will do the least amount of damage by using more muscle/Pinched or suppressed way over vocal chords themselves.
