    No Aboriginal "ever" owned this land, no Aboriginal "ever" cultivated the land - farmed any land, improved any land - in Australia! Our basic human rights are food and shelter! How many more people will face poor health, stress and poverty for generations because of this? How much food will be spoiled by waiting for approval, how much time will export markets allow for higher priced and slower arrivals? This doesn't make economic sense! They will be fed regardless, what about us taxpayers, refugees, our dependents, the farmers families? We need more productivity, not less! Its A Complete Scam! 🤬

    When I was at Monash Uni late 70's I was pro aborigine etc. First summer vac I spent working at Nundroo - by the Yalata reserve on the Nullarbor. Prior to that summer job I'd been in Norseman and Coober Pedy for a week each. Naive uni student got back to Melbourne with very very very different slant on aborigines. No change 44 years later...ha ha .

      Yes my husband was a taxi driver who started out always picking up aboriginal people because he really believed in the Noble People concept. He lasted for about five years before he refused to have anything to do with them, the Aboriginal woman who defecated in his taxi and squished it around because he wouldn't give her a free ride was the absolute last straw. Getting called a white C*** nearly every day didn't help either. I wish the bleeding hearts would spend at least some time with them before pontificating.

    My wife and I have a 5 acre property about to be put up for sale in Perth so we can down size to a 1 acre property in Bridgetown for retirement. Haven't built on the 1 acre yet so that's a concern but then who's going to buy the 5 acres with this hanging over their heads ? We're shafted both ways. Another WEF UN plan to get people off the land and into 15 minute cities ?

      @@steph4922 Funny, that's about 0.3 of an acre, and few properties are put on the market of that size. 1/4 acre, sure, half acre, a very few at 1600 sq m, or 0.4 of an acre. Even fewer at 1200m sq or 0.3 of an acre.
      I think you invented that size, a tad bigger than the cut-in point, 1100m sq, so you can have a whinge. You're politically opposed to the act (rescinded, anyway) so invent a personal anecdote as a propaganda tactic.

    There is no such thing, as freehold ownership of land under a Socialist / Communist government, and don't kid yourself, there is no difference between those two types of government, except that a Socialist government can still be peacefully overthrown, whereas a Communist government can only be overthrown with guns, maybe the electorate should consider that next election.

    In NZ they are making a ruling in which Medical Care priority will be given on the basis of ethnicity..what that means is if a normal white male shows up in emergency with a severe chest pain and an aboriginal shows up with a mild sore throat all medical attention will be given to Aboriginal, the other one with serious issue will be totally ignored ..and that applies to public as well as private hospitals so if somebody thinks I am Rich,I can save myself by buying private Health Insurance, you are wrong..

    How will this effect broadacre farmers? Will they need to apply for a permit to till new ground or everytime they get a seed rig, disc plough or agrow-plough out of the shed to put in their wheat, oats barley etc?     If an aboriginal inspector costs $120.00/hr, what qualifications must he have achieved and from which written historic record can his decision be confirmed? Will he have police clearence for good conduct, as now required for many occupations? Sacred places used to be burial places. Why do they refuse to make a list of their important heritage places, just as they refused to do so decades ago? Earning easy money from other folk's back breaking work. Why is this happening?

      They refused to make a list because it would limit them in the future to making up more heritage sites, and if they had made a list, then people could ask for verification and evidence of why it’s a heritage site. This way they can claim the entire country piecemeal as a heritage site, targeting the most vulnerable property owners first (the people with out the money & connections to fight them) , and also the political targets the establishment will support them in ruining.
