Hi Chester, I have followed your step to create a table. In m table, when calculated the linear forecast (the first one function you showed to us), why does my excel cannot put x axis as time period (the format such as date, same as yours), it only can calculate by pure numbers. For example, my excel, only can the date as the time period by the number of 1,2,3,4,5 … for presenting the months. Once I put the date format as the x axis for using forecast function, the value came out as error.

If I have zeroes that I don't want to be counted on my data, how do I go about it while still using the forecast formula?
