- LSU Baseball and Oregon State Baseball played in the Baton Rouge Regional Final in the 2023 College Baseball Season. LSU would advance to the Super Regionals with a win, while Oregon State needed a win to force a winner take all game 7.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

@@Monkey_11 him and Skenes could both be in AA right now and hold their own, they are both so impressive! I think Langford is the only other guy in the draft that even comes close to them in terms of current talent.

I think that both Crews and Skenes will be in the majors within 2 years. Skenes is honestly ready now if you ask me but I give them both 2 years or less in the minors before they’re called up

Oregon state is young and without there two star pitchers but they tried their best props to them
I live in BC a few hours from OSU but LSU has been my team since I was recruited in 98 so bitter sweet seeing my #2 team lose but happy as shit my #1 team is off to the supers. let's fn geaux.

Dude is a gamer. I was surprised earlier in the year to see him out of the lineup so much but he always seems to get hot at the right time, like great players typically do. He’s going to be a big difference maker for us down this stretch.
On another note, it finally looks like our bullpen is finding their groove at the right time. I don’t think we’ve had a series all season (since the huge injuries to Marceaux, Shores, etc) that the bullpen didn’t shit the bed forcing us to use 5-6 arms a game.
He can flat out fly. Ben McDonald...
He’s a much better player than just his raw stats would suggest. Great ball player who has productive at-bats more often than not. You need guys like him to win a national title.

It’s just so crazy how many offensive weapons LSU has. Even if half of their lineup doesn’t deliver, the other half is strong enough to pick up the slack. As long as their bullpen is even half way decent throughout the postseason, I don’t see them anywhere else than the College World Series final this year.

@@ironhead3494 they def have and I’m not at all bad about u having them over lsu, there regional was the easiest regional I have ever seen, which isn’t a Knock against them bc they did what they were supposed to, I just don’t think it said a lot about them

Dylan crews 7:40, adjustability, being able to be ready for the heater but also able to slow yourself down and bang a hanger is what separates people.
This is definitely one of the most complete teams in baseball
I wish that were the case but our pitching depth is questionable

Being honest, after the Pac-12 tournament I really expected nothing out of OSU, but they proved me wrong. Can not wait for next year

On the bright side we get either Kentucky or Indiana for the super. Might not be able to win it all but definitely should be able to make it to Omaha

Travinski has to get better behind the plate and Jordy must improve at short but other than that we look unbeatable at the moment. Pitching is peaking even the bullpen. Hopefully Dugas and Morgan are out of the slumps.
