Yeah I know. When I first saw it the end fight part where he does that I was just jaw dropped and I got chills. He really did the last one well
I get chills every time I rewatch that part.
Fun Fact: 44:55 "Bow boosting" was used to extend flight while using elytra since the ability to boost with firework rockets came way after the elytra was added. Back then, to be able to glide further, you have to start gliding from a high spot, launch yourself with some crazy cow launchers, or shoot yourself with a bow. The firework mechanic that was later added makes elytra more convenient to use! :>
Just adding more to the description what dream was doing without an elytra basically was barely pulling back the bow and jumping into the arrow. Because the bow had punch 2 he was able to launch a far distance but like he said it is still difficult to do.

the way the tone immediately changes as halo ask “Is that one of you mining?” perfectly timed to dream stopping and turning. I love that, it was timed so perfect.

Bro that wasn't even that hard tho. Even when I reacted to that first i was not really shocked because mlg's are easy even if u catch from another person could take 1-3 tries atmost for me but I haven't tried it while thrown by a second player so I can't confirm

The finale truly felt like a call back to the vs 2 hunters ahaha
The funny thing is that the manhunts started with the hunters just storming in without plans. Then came the strategic phase, during 3-5 hunters, where strategy was utilised, but the manhunt ended finally with all hunters barging in and hitting Dream barehanded, kinda nodding to the early hunter tradition.
10:00 - I remember Dream saying that he actually believes adding more hunters past 5 wouldn’t really be that much different - it would be similar to what they do now, where they send 2 to gather materials and keep 3 on Dream’s tail or vice versa, except now they would just be splitting evenly.
I'd personally love both him and someone else vs 6. It would incorporate some teamwork into the hunted side of things, and force the hunters to split up and think more strategically.
@@flyisgame Here are my list of people Dream should team up with to VS 6:
Technoblade: Obviously choice, it would just be difficult to schedule. And also it wouldn’t be that much more work to get Technoblade acclimated to work under the kind of pressure Dream experiences during manhunt.
Illumina: Friendly rivalry could happen during the video to make it even more engaging, very adept in speedrunning to begin with. Would possibly even outperform Dream with the under certain circumstances.
Sponker: To those who don’t know, this man trained Dream for the Mr. Beast 100k fight against Technoblade. I think he would be good choice other than strong 1.16 PVP skills, they could teach each other through working together in manhunt. And I think that dynamic would add a lot to the video.
Philza: Odd choice, but this is a veteran minecraft player with a decade of experience. He could help make up the disadvantage Dream has in in-game mechanics when Sam was added to the fray.
Tommyinnit: Not an obvious choice at first glance, he would change the tone of the video massively. Making the video a lot more comedic, but he is very good at Minecraft as well.

I loved the part where he was bridging away from them in the end, probably the most tedious and intense moment in all the manhunts imo
I liked the fight in the end above the void(when they broke his flying machine)
I'm just getting my watch later list down to 3 reactor vids reacting to The Last Manhunt which is an hour each. I was starting to wonder when you would react but sooo glad I can catch your premier. After this is the Extra Scenes, then PurpleMatter's short version of Dream's Analysis Vid & in your own spare time I do recommend watching the full stream of Dream's Analysis Vid as some things are not talked about in the short version.

The Hunter's main problem is that they say whatever they are doing. They keep speaking every time they found something or going to do something or had done something. "I'm on half a heart!" "My pickaxe is about to break!" Hunter's main setback is their mouth.
Well true, but that's also they're main strength. if they don't communicate what they have then how can the other team player help?

If you watch this at 0.25% speed., you can see that Awesomedude was mining the block next to the block Dream was placing his block.
This is why his reaction was a lot of confusion

The music in the ending really fits really well with the manhunt, the last manhunt.
How bow boosting works is if the bow has punch enchant the arrow has the enchantment of punch thus when you jump the arrow boosts you across the gap the reason he shot the block above the hunters and breaking them

I love how this manhunt ended in a complete reversal from how it went almost from the beginning. Spoiler: In the beginning, they all had full-diamond armor. In the end, only Dream had armor...and they kept getting smacked as they desperately tried to stop him. Love that reversal!
12:00 the mining fatigue came in clutch for dream😂
The clay method still works, the lapis trick doesn't anymore, But you find plenty of diamonds when you just go caving deep.

Bow Boosting basically means you Boost yourself with a bow to move faster forward, Dream has a Punch 2 Bow, this means if his own arrow hits him he gets launched further, allowing him to jump further

You can get the coordinates on the top of your screen by installing the cordinates mod.
If he waited for them to put down water, sapnap would be able to jump down and kill him, and he'd be surrounded, was on no hunger, can't run. Jumping after the bucket really was his only shot.

Basically bow boosting is a technique in which a punch bow is used and the arrow is shot in such a way that it hits you and punches you forward. It launches you by 5-6 blocks and it looks cool.
It was the best ending it had the reference way back from two hunters where he was going down in the void with water but then sapnap died and dream caught the pearls ehich fall from sapnaps inventory when he died and boom he was back in the game really that was my first favourite manhunt and we got to see that legendary moment back once again

8:55 That wouldn't be a way down for dream as the hunters know dream has no sprint and no armor meanwhile, they have diamond armor and water will slow everyone down a lot unless you have sprint which will only slow everyone a little so dream would just die.

Bow boosting means to shoot a bow a few blocks above you and hit your self so if you have punch on your bow it will boost you to a direction.
I was thinking about the end. I get he had armour and stuff so wouldn't be easy to kill, but there's a library with wood in it in the end stronghold. Surely it would have been in their best interest to leave at least one person to get stone axes, while the others distracted Dream and tried to slow him down as much as possible. That way they actually would have given themselves a chance to kill him.
ikr, also his armor was almost broken and he had no arrows, they might have gotten him if they didn't get demotivated after losing everything

As epic as that fishing the ender pearls bit was, I'm surprised Dream got rid of his boats when he was towering. He could've easily boat-tricked his way back to the island.

Dream"s bow has a Punch 2 enchantment and in Minecraft we know that you can hit yourself with arrows, so basically he intentionally hit himself with is bow to give him a boost cuz he has a Punch 2 bow.
Thinking back to that first video when she didn’t know the Dream/George ship was a meme and thought they might actually be a couple. How far we’ve come.

I still think an interesting idea would be doing a manhunt in a subscriber’s world. Both spawn sight unseen, and if they find a user’s base they can gear up quickly.

jungle tree do not give apple, he was getting saplings! to understand bow boosting u got to have to play hardcore in 2015 and before? In a time w/ elytra but no rockets to boost ur fly people got creative and used punch 2 bow to boost up! For example philzas season 2 world he bow boosted below the end island w/ elytra, its insane and people got so good at it!

You'd have to carefully balance it with how twitch controls the world and what actions they can take but "Speedrunner vs twitch" could be amazing.
Dream team has done twitch spawns, RUclips subscribers spawns a lot of times as far as I know.
I think Bow Boosting means that he jumps before he releases the Bow and the Arrow hits him which boosts his jumping since he has Punch it helps him go more far

So the change of the title might mean Dream is actually gonna do six hunters in a far future

Bow boosting is only possible with punch. If you hit yourself, punch still applies and the knock back launches you.
