LJP70CEARSHB is a beautiful guitar. Please make a model with onboard tuner and preamp installed on top.....not in the soundhole. I have been looking for a gorgeous small size well-playing stage guitar. Having the controls in front of your eyes are really helpful. I will wait for a new model in 2023: A travel sized shadow burst gloss body sitka spruce top Alvarez guitar with tuner and preamp on top 🎸😊
I have a MSD1 that I bought years ago and still love. Wish I knew what the difference is between these and mine. Great video! Alvarez is becoming my favorite channel
Great video and love what you guys do. I love my MPA66SHB which is of course, solid mahogany. I have had it for 8-9 months and absolutely am blown away by it every time I pick it up. I love the size and shape, and am totally addicted to the sound. And, it is such a pretty guitar.
Why did you discontinue the AP70 parlour? I have one and it's an amazing guitar. My only gripe would be the thickness of the poly lacquer on the body, which I only found out when it got damaged badly. Its getting repaired because I can't bare to part with it. Ps, remember the lefties! We do exist and buy guitars out here in the world.
Hi. I have a Masterworks MPA66SHB Parlor guitar. It is a small body with incredible tone, richness, and volume. I wouldn't give it up. The fit and finish are immaculate. I also have a 1968 Alvarez that was their iteration of the Gibson J200. It is also a great guitar, a veritable "thunder box!" Keep it up Alvarez!!!
I think these are great. I like a cedar top as well. The third in this demo appeals to me most. I agree the last in this group ( Mini Jumbo?) is a good happy medium. Either of them would work for me. Are any of these coming to the USA? I owned a Delta that I really liked but had to downsize my collection. Now I’m ready to add another! Very nice guitars. Thank you
My small guitar is a DeltaOOTSB bought for sofa noodling, but it is so much more, producing an excellent vintage bluesy tone. I recently had the chance to compare it to a Gibson L-OO Studio costing around £1300, expecting the Gibson to blow it away. It didn't. It should have done. The Alvarez costs less than £300!
The wood on the back of the guitar on the far right is incredibly beautiful. But the paint job on the top wreaks. It looks like a child's cowboy guitar.
That's comparing apples to oranges. My ag60 shb sounds louder than some of my dreads. However if you put an AD60 against my AG60, The AD60 would probably win out because of the dread body. The alvarez dreads are louder because of the larger soundhole. I own an rd10 and rd20 cutaway and they both sound louder than my other dreads.I beat the hell out of the rd10 bluegrass picking and gigging what not. I pulled it out of its bag tuned it and plays and sounds great. Still one of the tighter sounding acoustics I ever played. You guys made em right back then too. Thx and love your channel. Cheers🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good ear. I noticed the difference thanks to you pointing it out. I think I'd like the full bodied LJ but with cedar top, which I did not see them demo. Nice guitars all around though.
Thanks Gunnar, we currently have several including our Delta, but we are also considering our next Parlor offerings and will keep you updated! Thanks for the great feedback.

We love hearing that, Aaron. Thank you for watching! 👍

That's a great guitar! Thanks @SpikeWills 69 👍
I own an oy70ce that I really love. I've been totally happy with it. God bless you guys.🙏
Thank you Lynn 👍

When will the LJP70 be available in the US? I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks!

Thanks Anthony, they're coming soon, we'll keep you updated 👍

We loved hearing that, Nicholas, thanks for sharing!
Alvarez has always made guitars that keep up with the big brands but for much less. Check out their story.
I want this job. I mean, I work with at risk youth, and it's extremely rewarding...but man, jamming and traveling around talking guitars! Sigm me up
Nice guitars. My favorite guitars for fingerstyle are 00 size. Clear, balanced, strong.
That's a great choice, Scott.

Definitely tell the difference with and without the cutaway on these small bodies. I’d have the Delta out of this bunch.

Would like to learn why Alvarez doesnt attend more to 12-fret parlors? To me 12-frets gives an ideal combination of comfort and great sound.

When will the LJP70 be available in the US?
Is it solid back and side?
These guitars are solid-top with very high quality laminate back and sides.
Sounds as good as my grand auditorium alvarez
That's the best compliment these little guys have had yet. Thanks, Darrell 👍
Will the LJPF70 come to the USA?
Yes 👍
Too much talking by one. Should do a separate video on the history of Alvarez. Stick to the 3 guitars and more demo playing. Thanks
Wide neck 175mm plus sharp edges of fingerboard= playing fatigue and very uncomfortable to play..
Alvarez guitar is very disappointing neck very wide and very sharp edges fingerboard pls address this issues,
