im pretty sure you know this but fl studio has "humanize" option in piano roll under the tools tab. its faster to use that rather than adjusting all notes imo
that was fire... I think im more impressed with your work flow. How fast you switch from slice tool back to brush and so on it pretty impressive on its own! Keep up the great work. Arcade is an amazing plugin. I started using it when they first dropped it, Another thing thats amazing about Arcade is if you get into a financial bind and need to stop/pause the subscription any beat you made using Arcade will still play with the sounds you used. I think that is an amazing feature!
Man im new to watching your channel. dog yo beats and skills and knowlege with all the software be craaaaazzzy!!!! im definetly learning a lot from you. once you added that bass guitar it was a wrap!!!!!
You’re so quick switching between tools-super impressive! You’re already doing amazing, but I can’t help thinking there’s so much more potential here. If you ever want to explore ways to take things even further, let’s chat.
Would love to see a tutorial on how to make those dark, sampled Griselda type beats. Especially layering sounds on top of the sample, sound selection and processing of the drums. I'm relatively new to these boom bap beats and would love to improve.
i'd like to see you make an old school NY beat, 80's jazz sample, horns, gritty drums. i would love to improve my sampling skills, i suck at it right now.
Everyone starts at the bottom. Work hard and learn as much as possible. JC's tutorials are dope and very entertaining and you can learn lots. Watch a lot of the other producers and beatmakers on the tube and be a sponge
You’ll get better bro I started last year and I’m almost ready to start releasing so keep going , the more time and dedication the faster you’ll reach your goal 💯💯
Jay, I’ve been watching you for about 3-4 years now, I really admire your work. You taught me a lot, thank you for that. (P.S. I’m waiting for the Ukrainian drill)
This really depends on the track, I advise you don't eq your kick samples. Once you've eq'd the melody then just bring the kick up to where you can hear it well. Eq when producing should be used very roughly, to creat needed space or a certain tone. If you start eq-ing you kicks you'll spend less time actually creating. It's kind of a trap producers fall to mixing instead of creating and learning.
@mbthewarlord5702 bro Everytime if i use eq on masterchannel or the kick , ist sounds for me terrible, and Most of the Tutorials they saying to cut the lows for example 20to32. Ive quitt it to have an eq on the kick or in the masterchannel . What about u?😊
hey Jay Cactus love the beat! hard🔥 For your next video can you do a in depth tutorial on how to export your beat stems (including all important settings, especially settings needed to have the stems ready to send out to engineers!) all professional named , organised etc. I want to get ready to start selling my beats on beatstars or in general so i have everything all ready, all needed to send out to artists/engineers. In the video, can u do it so you make the full beat, mix, master it and then the exporting process, also showing what to turn off in the mixer before exporting stems to send out to engineers. Would love to hear back from you soon. As i continue levelling up my beats, i want to level up the business side of things too. Overall thanks for all your work u put out, its helped me a lot learn a lot as a self taught producer and like from many of us, keep up the great work u do for this community ❤

Love your boom bap stuff!🔥🔥❤️
we with you Jay, keep the upload, your vids are mad helpful
resampling king
Hard beat🔥🔥🔥🔥 using triplets on the extra snare and the ghost kicks will give it that extra bounce
Killed It 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 🙏
keep up the good work bro! subbed :)
Appreciate the sub!
@@JayCactusTV the kick that you used in this beat, which drum kit is it from? Thanks.
yo jack, next vid show us how to layer 808 and drums for chill drill and new jazz then how to mix dem
Quick advice, 1 choose samples that work together, 2 check the phase, 3 side chain compression
For arrangement, pick one to be the main sound (the one that'll be busier) and use the other one to just carry the bounce
Definitely got more chill drill coming
This went hard, love from India.
💚
Had beat block for a couple weeks now, this was exactly what I needed to try something a lil different 🔥
Good to hear man!

Yeah more boom bap🔥🔥, less gfunk and even newer styles😴
What happened to the microphone? Fire vid btw
It was muted :(
Mad talent❤ bro do u leave your kick like this or do u compress and eq ur kick ? And how loud do you have the kick always , Like how many db ?
This really depends on the track, I advise you don't eq your kick samples. Once you've eq'd the melody then just bring the kick up to where you can hear it well. @FaisalBanaras-x3x i don't put effects on the master when producing, I only eq melodic elements to make space
Fl studio setting and control video please
Check my free course for that bro
@@JayCactusTV okay bro
hi ! I wanted to know if it was possible to open projects that were done on fl studio 20 on fl studio 24 please 🥭 ty for videos bro

@JayCactusTV thanks jay also nemz dropped a new song with kidwild called redemption and the beat was sick please make a video about that too 🙏❤️
Yo Jay, please make tutorial how to do cold, gritty boom bap Biggie smalls type beats🌵🌵🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the suggestion 🙏
💥💯🥁
🔥
Soooooo Fucking DOPE🔥🔥🔥 peace from Germany ⬛🟥🟨
Thank you bro 🙏
was swing on??
Not for this one cos I manually created bounce, but it’s a good tool to use
Can you do a track like from The Game - Ali Bumbaye? Would be awesome! Its a vocals sample they've used from a rock song in the 80s or 90s.
Bpm 90 (180 double time)
shoulda boosted the kicks a lil more
Yo, do you know some rappers who rap on such beats?
when i try and sample myself i get like pops at the end of each clip, fading out each one is kind of annoying.. anyone know how to fix this??

Check my free course bro I explained it all in there
Making beats is SO much more complicated than you would think. 😭That's why I stopped years ago and started playing guitar. But I suck at that too LOL.
Is something off with the mic or it's just me?
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Brooo you're really forcing me to use arcade again 🤣
Haha it’s fire!
FLP ? :P please..
