1. Heim won more races. 2. Eckes got a well-deserved promotion, while Heim keeps getting stuck in the Trucks. I agree it is getting overshadowed, but I do kind of understand why.
I’ve waited for this one Christian eckes had the best season in truck series history and it sucks he wasn’t champ at the end ( but this is the same system that allows a 17.1 avg finish to be champion)
corey heim really needs to be given the credit he deserves. hes been running trucks like a beast and should at least get more xfinity starts or be given a full time ride.
I know that Dave W has not uploaded all of the countdown races of the seasons from 2007 to the present day but when that happens and you can tell a story of what would’ve happened if there was no countdown, that would be another interesting series kind of like Breaking the Chase. In the NHRA up until 2006, it was full season points based on round wins. I also really like the new music that is used.
With Chandler Smith going back to trucks and being in a good truck, it will be interesting to see the battle Smith and Heim. Between the two of them, they will probably win a lot of races this year. And I predict the championship 4 will be Heim, Smith, Majeski, and Honeycutt.
The reason Heim isn't in Xfinity is that he doesn't bring sponsorship While Gibbs and Heim had Arca beef, Brandon Jones going back to JGR kinda makes that narrative fall flat...
I will say this. One day I think you should take a look at Tony Stewart, and his journey to NHRA at some point. He’s having a lot of fun and he’s getting better and better each year in the NHRA. He might win a championship in drag racing as a driver. He already won a world championship as an owner with Matt Hagan in funny car in 2023. 2024 has been an exciting year for drag racing as a whole so has IndyCar
I think next season Layne Riggs will be a big threat for the championship his team figured it out in the final 10 races and as much as I didn't like Eckes for some of the things he did like shoving Taylor Gray out of the way at Martinsville he still had a good season
As much i respect Mejeski alot and it was a cool story of him finally winning a championship after all the work he had to do to get here it's a very nice and awesome story but man Eckes was robbed hard.
@UncleT4life well before this past October I had a job where I worked Friday afternoon to night and then had to wake up the next morning to go back to work so whenever I got back Saturday afternoon I just slept and by then Trucks and Xfinity were done
@@p1motorsports694 I do not have time on Fridays usually because I think you know that I see SmackDown every Friday night. SmackDown is on fire now. WWE as a whole is on fire. 2024 was probably one of their best years ever with Cody Rhodes winning the WWE title and storytelling being absolute peak and fire
@@the_elmeister I can't stand cody, him and his lunatic stans revolting cost us one of the biggest matches in history last year, hopefully that mistake is rectified
I’m so baffled how people aren’t talking about how Eckes had a top 3 best truck seasons of all time and yet they give Heim all the praise
People are really sleeping on him
1. Heim won more races.
2. Eckes got a well-deserved promotion, while Heim keeps getting stuck in the Trucks.
I agree it is getting overshadowed, but I do kind of understand why.
Tbf hiem did have a lot of races where he got screwed over especially 2 I can remember of it being eches fault
As an Eckes fan, I rate his season highly

Wake up Honey
Breaking the chase is on the screen
Happy this series is back and I agree it is bullshit that Corey’s not in the Xfinity series yet
YOOOO ITS BAAAACCCKKKK!!!!
Eckes and Heim were out of this world, to see them not get the chip infuriates me.
Also... Heim should be in JGR Xfinity
The reason Heim isn't in Xfinity is that he doesn't bring sponsorship
While Gibbs and Heim had Arca beef, Brandon Jones going back to JGR kinda makes that narrative fall flat...
That isn’t the problem bro. He has TRD Support. Stop being so blind
I have a awesome feeling that lanye Riggs is going try his best to win the championship in 2025.😊
Yeah ig he didn’t try his best this year
@cashkenterprises5584 well all he has to do is win a race before the playoffs start.

Been waiting awhile for this one
Eckes has my respect for racing others hard

This would have been such a compelling season and I love Eckes so I would have loved his title

Worth a wait!
wow didn't know you watched so few races, guess your interest is waning off similar to me
