Quick tip is be aggressive when there's only one team go right at them and start stealing fans until you get a decent lead and then surround there base with high level numbers
It makes zero sense to me why they would make it so that if you want to get your player better in RTTS you have to play a completely different game mode. Somebody should be fired over this.

I completed the 100 ballplayer points thing for my slugger bronze character. How do I upgrade his main archetype now from slugger bronze to Silver Speedy/slugger or whatever the other ones are. I can't seem to find how to do that?

They have claimed they patched that, but if it’s not giving you credit your supposed to play one inning in DD first and then it’ll start counting your challenges in both RTTS and DD
I am a 86 ovr SS. The starting SS on my team is a 91 and progressing, is there any way I can switch positions? I’m really close to asking for a trade, I’m not getting enough PT to progress the way I want to.
The big one in the middle is your Archetype, you have to complete the program to unlock the silver gold or diamond for that. The smaller ones below it are perks, which you can unlock or buy them from the community market.
I've completed 3 archetypes but I chose Filthy to do for a RP and it keeps changing me to SP. When I go to DD it won't allow me to add my player as a starter only a reliever.
that’s the point. in rtts, within one game, you may only get like 3-4 at bats. but say you play against the cpu on rookie or veteran, you can easily get 6-7 at bats. and yes, i know in that time frame of playing against the cpu, you can play at least 4-5 rtts games, but you’re in control the whole time with the cpu games. no quick counts, you’re basically guaranteed to steal a base against the cpu rather than hoping your teammates don’t swing in rtts. there’s so many more opportunities to be able to level up in single player modes rather than rtts

Arent Road To The Show and Diamond Dynasty two different game modes?? I just started playing RTTS I haven't played Diamond Dynasty yet.. I feel like I'm not getting much XP every game so trying to boost my Road To The Show character to make him better somehow lol..

@@MotorCityMob you can definitely use your RTTS player in DD. You just have to insert them into the lineup! You also don’t have to play DD against other users. There are a lot of single player DD modes that’ll allow you to work on your player and make him better if he’s in your lineup
You should have the bronze level of about 6 different archetypes. As you progress from bronze to silver to gold and then diamond, you’ll get more archetypes unlocked in the program rewards
This whole Diamond Dynasty/season pass merger with RTTS is probably the worst thing they've done. I didn't buy MLB The Show for RTTS to play a bunch of non-baseball related mini games like Conquest or shortened DD games to level up. Appreciate the vid, even though I still don't understand Conquest at all.
Bruh in diamond dynasty......Yes, you get more points for less hits but you have to pitch entire games and hit for all 9 players in the lineup. In RTTS you're just hitting and only yourself. Your player will get 10 at bats in RTTS in the time it takes to get 2 at bats in DD. Only work around is batting yourself leading, playing as the away team and quitting after your at bat over and over, but that is mind numbing. If you do the math DD is def not faster tho haha

While I see where your logic is coming from, time-wise I find it far more efficient to play DD with my player in the lineup on solo game modes. It just works
I dont think so. I'm a 73 and made it to the MLB towards the end of my 1st season. Then started opening day the following year. While with my friend, it took him 4 seasons

We went from being able to sim to the end of the game to now you're saying to play DD, when my whole team is a 89, my conquests are completed, I wouldn't use my rtts player as anything other than SP, and even thats not gonna happen until he's a diamond archetype. Just pick a starter and then once the game starts go to the manager tab and open the bullpen and start warming your character up

Two completely different game modes, but The Show has always been known for its interconnected game modes. The modes all kind of work together
