    KP, I just wanted to say thank you for consistently putting out such high quality, educational, entertaining RUclips content. While the primary thing that drew me here was undoubtedly just getting to see more sea otter footage, I always learn new things from your videos each week. I can't imagine the workload it must be to research and write your scripts, film, edit, source music, etc., on top of your "day job" working with the marine animals. But I just wanted to let you know that it does not go unnoticed or unappreciated ^_^ Keep up the good work!

    WHY HASNT THIS BEEN RUNNING IN THE MEDIA? It seems like the perfect fix for our atmosphere AND our oceans which is dying and people don’t seem as concerned like they are about the atmosphere! I can’t understand why they don’t see that they go hand in hand!!!! People MUST LEARN ABOUT THIS! I’m going to start spreading this information! My mind is blown! It sounds so simple! Thanks for sharing! ❤

    Is that Kunik reaching for more ice treats? 😆...I am all for sea otter thriving but how can the local govt keep their population in check so as to keep the ecosystem balanced or for them not to be hunted down because of food conflict with humans? I watched a documentary before where some natives kind of "hated" sea otters because they would eat the seafoods they supposed to catch. They can't "hurt" the sea otters due to the law and it's what's getting in the way for them.

    • @KPassionate
      @KPassionate  3 года назад +3

      Its actually Rialto. SO cute eh?!?! Yes improving relationships with people will be key. Sea otters actually help with seafood populations on the whole though.

    Is there a big difference between southern and northern sea otters? They live together at aquariums?

    • @KPassionate
      @KPassionate  2 года назад +1

      Hello! There is a difference. Northern sea otters are bigger and have slightly different head shapes. It is possible for them to live together and also to interbreed! The northern and southern populations have not be separated for very long.
