I get the "Only God Forgives" feeling off this where Refn is shooting a load of scenes & hoping something will appear in the editing room.
+David Delaney yeah. he kinda is that type of director. i don't want to get any expectations in my head though
+Duncan Reid MAn if you saw the making of of only god forgives you'd know that's not at all how he works. Everything is planned out and has a reason to be in that specific place. He's just very meta, subtext heavy storyteller with movies that need multiple viewing and analysis to get comletely what's going on. Drive and pusher are probably his most straightforward movies.

+Tom Cabler I doubt it'll be very "scary" in the traditional sense, more an atmospheric type of horror (It Follows, The Babadook, etcetera). I love Refn, can't wait to check this one out -- looks fantastic.
+Tom Cabler I think it's probably more like a psychological thriller type of horror movie. Definitely not the jump scare type.
