Set up/Priming of Eheim Classic 250 Aquarium Pump

Hi guys. This is my first video ever, can you tell 😂 Ive a 55gal fish tank freshwater with live plants and 7 Fishies. My big Eheim pump broke at the beginning of this year&I couldnt afford a new canister pump as well as the Eheim I previously had was so old, it was discontinued (mind you, I had it for 10years+) so the aquarium originally cane with this Pinguin double wheel hang on pump. My 2 flt LED light fixtures are built into the hood&cant be placed elsewhere. Ive cats so I need the hooded part anyways. Unless that rank was completely filled up, that pump created such a alge mess on the LED covers but also on the glass. Ive had that aquarium set for 10years, so it was almost crystal clear with the older EHEIM version. It was harder to clean the back tank wall duento that hanging pump as well so once Chewy had this pump on sale for like 89$, well… this girl got it. 😂 Now the priming was a challenge as I explained in the video. I was getting really frustrated too. So once I figured this thing out, I just wanted to help someone…. like myself… to make it easier. And I hope I shed a bit more light& did just that. 🙂
