Probably what I say now might be considered 'not kind and insulting' but if I heard this for the first time (which in fact true) I would think it is an Israeli singer. To hear he is Iranian came as a surprise. That said, the area matches as does history. That said, I really did like it, didn't understand it but is was pleasing to the ear.

'We' Europeans, have not only a different flavour in language, and that varies even in different areas (and that is paramount in north and south), but is different in sound and scales. I was really surprised because it was more akin to Hebrew than Arabic. Hence my remark.
@@Paul_C Persian is an indo-european language, of the eastern branch (same branch as Hindi and Slavic languages) hence why the kh sound exists. It is phonetically is very different from Arabic and Hebrew, and grammatically unrelated.

Powerful voice but the overall song is not all that impressive! Not trying be a devil advocate but I see a lot of people requesting this and do not see why... I personally would not request any traditional song to be reacted to while we have so many cool pop songs that the world can relate to.
Everyone is confused about the “kh” sound in Persian songs which is understandable since it doesn’t exist in English language but it’s a letter in Persian alphabet. It’s not just a sound it’s part of the language. Just wanted to clarify that

Ok, "Behet Ghol Midam" or "I promise you" in which he has already moved on after the breakup. It amazes me that this has become the first Persian music many "farangi" 's to encounter. No doubt he is an amazing musician/singer. But this is and isn't a good example of Persian music. For sure, It is not the most accurate introduction to the Persian music. That being said, I love this song.
